Days of are Lightning [Flashback] Tosen_10

Lightning would quickly strike the ground in the middle of the training field shaking the ground as it did so. Instantly smoke would start to rise from the now blackened spot that the lightning had just hit. Here that could be very much expected though. As the Thunder grounds didn’t just get its name for any old reason. Though that certain little reason, was also what made it one of the most dangerous places for a Shinobi to train. Since it was almost impossible for any ninja to know when the lightning was going to strike down unless they just constantly watched the sky. Though that actually would defeat the purpose of coming to train at the Thunder Grounds, which is why only high ranked shinobi even attempted to use it for a place to train. Since not only did it increase the difficultly of one’s training, but it also eliminated the possibility of getting bothered by the younger Shinobi. Since they tended to be a very big bother especially when one was about to try and learn Jutsu like these. Ones that would take very much focus, and concentration. Though they weren’t really that complex but more that they were an Art and Kimura wanted to make sure that he perfected this art and became a true master.

Kimura figured that it was time for him to take what he loved to the next level considering the fact that he had found a love for the art of weaponry and wanted to become a true master. And he figured that this would be the best place for him to start training his jutsu. And possibly work on creating something completely new. As Kimura had heard stories of powerful ninja creating Jutsu that were known as forbidden jutsu because they were so powerful. Some even being able to even destroy whole villages, with just one use. Kinjutsu was the name that those unstoppable jutsu would be given the name off. Though Kimura wasn’t truly sure how they completely worked he was sure that he was Genius enough to create some himself, and what better to create them with then the art that he loved the most, Kenjutsu. Since he had heard many tails of great ninja becoming legendary sword masters, but that was usually due to them wielding great powerful swords. He never heard of one becoming a Legendary Sword master due to them taking the art of the sword to the next level by creating a Kinjutsu with their swords.

And that would be exactly what Kimura wanted to do with his skills. Though he wasn’t one hundred percent sure how he was going to do that yet, he was sure that it was going to take him doing constant intense training learning to not only use his sword better, but also focus his chakra better through the art of Ninjutsu. So Kimura figured that it would be best if started training some new Kenjutsu and clan jutsu. While also considering how he was going to fold everything together so that he could make an all-powerful Kinjutsu using his skills in the art of the sword. Instantly lightning would strike once again though a good several meters from the spot that it had hit minutes ago. Kimura would slowly turn his head to look at the new spot that was black just as the spot hit before it. Kimura could only guess that it was true to what the legend said. Lightning never strikes the same place twice. But now the moon was completely out as it was a night of a full moon and the moon was clearly visible as no clouds were around it. Though as usual the sky was covered with clouds, but that was very normal for the land of Lightning.

Finally Kimura figured that it was time that he started his training. Though he had no actual how long this would take or how much stress that it would put on his body, he was sure that it would be very much do. Considering the fact that Kimura had just made it to the Anbu, and was going to have to impress a lot of ninja. Most of who were much stronger than him. As most of the Ninja on the Anbu where considered True genius or Prodigies having graduated at young ages and rising through the ranks at tremendous rates. With Kimura being 17 years old it was kind of impressive but not as impressive as some. Considering the fact that he had heard one member had been on the Anbu since the age of 15, and was the same age as Kimura. Meaning that he was going to have a lot of catching up to do if he really wanted to impress the older and higher ranked members of the Anbu corps. So he figured that coming up with his own Kinjutsu as well as increasing his already skills would be just what he needed to try and impress everyone else on the Anbu.

Swiftly Kimura would draw his sword Demona with one swift motion that it almost look as though the sword had just appeared in his hands. This being one of the very new skills that Kimura decided he wanted to work on. Considering legend said that the Samurai could draw their sword and cut their opponents in half with the blink of an eye. Which was something that was very fascinating to Kimura, though his technique was not even close to that level. He still figured that it would come of very great help to him in combat. Considering the fact that getting ones sword out when it is needed was a very big needed skill to have. And the faster that Kimura could get it out then the better. Since he wanted to easily be able to take his opponents by surprise and use his sheer speed so that they wouldn’t be able to react to his attacks. Though that might seem like a sneaky way of fighting Kimura figured the less actual combat he had to do in the fight the better.

Hakai Kisaragi

It was cloudy, Hakai noted that as she slipped from the home that she shared with her parents, of course using the window to avoid running into said parents. She had spent a good thirty minutes arguing with her mother over why she wouldn’t be able to attend the latest party that would occur on this particular day, though her mother was either hard of hearing or didn’t understand what ‘I can’t attend because I have work’ meant. There was also the possibility that the woman was stubborn beyond belief, either way, her mother had left her room with a huff and a threat to retrieve her father. And since her father got what he wanted whenever he wanted it, he was just that good, she decided to take that opportunity to hightail it out of the house. Sure, her parents would be rather upset with her, and probably would stop showering her with gifts for a little bit, and even decrease her allowance, but she sincerely didn’t care. Besides, she knew that she could make it up to them with no problem, she always did. And it wasn’t like they could stay mad at their otherwise perfect child forever, she knew that for certain.

So, she really didn’t think about the consequences of her actions whilst she headed to the training grounds, taking the rooftops for they were much faster, with the streets bursting with people below. She did have to work today, though not quite yet, so she decided that she would spare the amount of time she had before she took her mission to get in some practice. Something that she had found difficult, with the missions she was sent on and the parties she had to attend whenever she didn’t have to work. Thus, she would savor the this training session, no matter how short it shall be - it would be an hour or so to be exact. She travelled in silence, going over in her head the many techniques she would need to practice before she had to depart the grounds for the Anbu Corps Hq for the mission debriefing as well as to gear up. She would be doing that mission alone, for Guillotine rarely did missions with others for obvious reasons.

Finally Hakai would arrive, it only having taken her five minutes, ten at the most, to get to the training grounds. Not many people came here, not with the thunder strikes that no one could predict. Death here was very likely if one wasn’t aware of their surrounds, especially that of the sky, though one wouldn’t achieve anything here if they were constantly looking up. Thus, due to the dangers, the grounds were only used by the strong, and Hakai liked it that way. It meant that Genin wouldn’t be running around the area, unless they were stupid, and that she could practice in peace.

She was about ready to begin, sighing deeply as she ran her fingers through her hair, though the thought left her mind as she spotted the Anbu Corps’ newest recruit. Tosen, a individual the same age as herself though was destiny for things far greater than what she could possibly achieve at the moment, or at least that was what she had heard from other people. So, instead of starting practice immediately, she decided that she would greet this individual, for she hadn’t done so yet.

“Yo.” Hakai would say upon getting within ten feet of the new recruit, waving her hand. “You are the new recruit, neh?”

With Demona in his hands Kimura felt like he could take the word down. As his first move to quickly draw Demona in a quick unsheathing striking motion seemed to work better then he thought it would. Though Kimura wasn’t sure that the move would actually work when it came down to true combat, but for now Kimura’s knew technique seemed that it would possibly work. As even he knew that one could not truly see how a technique would work until they actually tested it out in combat. Or at least in some situation that stimulated a spar or something of the like. But as it seemed now Tosen was the only one here at the Thunder Grounds and wouldn’t have anyone that would be able to help him in testing out the new technique to make sure that it worked to the fullest of its capabilities. Though soon he would notice that a girl had made her way to the training ground. Though he wasn’t truly sure who she was, she somehow knew him. “Yeah I am, what’s it to you ”Tosen would reply to her".

Hakai Kisaragi

“Oh? No one in particular,” Hakai said, chuckling as she sheepishly scratched the back of her head, “just someone who has heard the rumors about a guy named Tosen flying about the corps. You are certainly the talk of the Anbu corps, the subject of quite a few rumors.” She flashed a smile at him, before her eyes drifted to the cloudy sky that loomed above the duo. She sighed deeply before returning them back to Tosen. “What were you practicing right now, Tosen?” she inquired, cocking her head to the side, as her eyes slowly shifted to the sword in his hand, right there she began to draw up ideas about what he may have been doing.

From what she had understood, Tosen was quite proficient in several areas, though nothing really could compared with his Kenjutsu. And since there was in fact a sword in his hand, well she could only assume that he was practicing some new, or old, sword techniques. Yet, since she knew nothing of the young man, she really couldn’t tell rather or not he was practicing something that could be considered the basics, or something that fell into that intermediate/advanced category. Doesn’t matter so long as he’s training something, Hakai concluded, her eyes moving back to Tosen face since she was quite done with assessing him.

Tch-tch-tch, Kobe made his way slowly towards the Thunder Grounds, the deadliest part of the village known best to foreigners for its random violent strikes of lightning that originated from the dark clouds that screened over the languid terrain. A tepid wind began to pick up along the path he walked, picking up loose scraps of dust and moving them about across the ground underneath his feet. The lone Chuunin walked with a slow pace, tracing the path he walked along as he quietly made his way up the mountain. With his umbrella held firmly in his left hand, the boy feared the thought of attracting the violent raiton down towards him. An item he used to shade sunlight away from his somewhat sensitive eyes would prove itself useless in weather conditions such as, though the Chuunin found it tedious to spend more of his thoughts on whether or not he should relax the item and walk naked-without an umbrella towards the mountain peak.

As he made his way up the mountain, the fresh faced youth imagined the type of jutsu he was going to get practice today after closely observing the patterns of naturally made lightning, being careful not to stand in the way of the element but all the while standing close enough to read its generic patterns. Although the boy had spent a great number of years practicing with and using the raiton element, he knew it still had secrets to be unlocked, secrets he knew would benefit him in combat if used correctly. 'Lightning, what a wild element indeed, and to think only few of us in the world have truly unlocked all there was to unlock within the element, yet none have bothered to publicize their useful discoveries,' Kobe thought to himself. Kobe, although more proficient in the art of Ninjutsu, liked to think of himself as a Brawler before a Shinobi. He purposely chose to not wear his village headband wherever he was  Many asked him why he didn't wear his village symbol around, but to him his village symbol was within his spirit.

Upon arriving at the infamous thunder grounds, Kobe was greeted by the area's first thunder/lightning strike, which sent a bolt of raiton racing down towards the ground and stroke the earth just 4 meters away from where Kobe had stopped and stood. The Chuunin, in fear of another close raiton attack folded his umbrella shut and left it by the side of a large, unique-looking rock, along with his two bladed weapons he had brought with him. He then proceeded on in walking 10 meters ahead of where he had placed the umbrella before sitting down to meditate. The Chuunin took a large breath, taking in the faint smell of burnt rock and wet terrain. He soon shut his eyes and took in the static image of the pitch black darkness that soon followed. His legs were in a crossed position, his arms each rested on their parallel leg, leaving the Chuunin seated in a relaxed position. Around him Kobe could hear distant sounds of thunderous noises fighting with one another within the dense black clouds above, each with its own pitch and direction. The Chuunin tried at best to concentrate of silencing his senses, completely blocking all the noise around him, all the smells around him and all the images around him. Slowly, minute by minute each of these three senses (sight, smell and sound) began to ignore the boasting thunder strikes, the luminous smells that filled the atmosphere and the sight of the whole act. After a few minutes of complete silence and external isolation, the Chuunin rose to his feet and welcomed the sights, smells and sounds the area offered, ready to use any in his attempt to train his new Jutsu , while begging to make his first hand sign he heard two distinct voices in the distance, this had broke his concentration. Deciding that he should investigate before continuing his rigorous training session, bounding down the grounds dodging crackling strikes of raiton. Funny this was kind of training in and of itself, this voices grew near and within seconds he had stumbled upon two individuals; the first of which was a man of dark clomplexion that was wielding a daunting katana, the second was a young female with white shoulder length hair. His interest was piqued so he quietly strolled to distance that would make his presences obvious, he was excited these two might be a nice little challenge for him.

Tosen would note that the girl was a member of the Anbu. Though he wasn’t really sure what she was doing here or why she would be here like he was. But for the most part Kimura had nothing to say to her. As he was worried about trying to create his own Kinjutsu and figured that it would be best for him to leave this area. As Kimura wanted to practice and try and create his Kinjutsu on his own without having to worry about others watching what he was about to do. As Kimura was sure that some would not approve of him trying to create and learn so a high powerful technique like he was trying to do. And he didn’t want to be judged by anyone if he somehow managed to fail in creating the jutsu as it was not a good look on him as he was already trying to impress people since he was the new member on Anbu, so without even responding Kimura would make his leave and start his journey to find another training spot for his Kinjutsu.
