- Name: Paving the Way
Rank: D
Type: Normal
Mission given by: Khala Ashtavon
Rewards: 200 Ryo
Participants: Anyone
Daily: Repeatable
Description: It is a good thing to help the elders.They seem to proclaim it either way. Elder Khala Ashtavon has come with a request. Given her age and the activities she performs, she has noticed she needs quite a lot of help for the tasks she could easily do herself before. Thus, she is requesting the aid of our shinobi. Hang out with old lady Ashtavon. Make sure to walk her to get daily supplies and whatever else she may need. See to it that she arrives home safely, and in one piece.
Akio adjusted his eye patch as he took a deep breath and walked up to the mission board. Not really caring about the nature of the mission the genin picked a random D-Rank mission and walked off. He really couldn't get something that would be to difficult for him to do seeing as they were all low ranking tasks. However he did hope that it was one of the less tedious ones seeing as they always seemed to be chores rather then missions really. Although he supposed that the village had to get the missions done somehow and they did seem to pull in a rather decent amount of Ryo compared to how easy they were to accomplish.
As the azure haired genin took a few more steps away from the initial spot he got his orders the young man unfolded the parchment. Taking a moment to read the instructions on the slightly worn paper. Even though it wasn't to long ago that the instructions had been engraved into the scrap of paper the paper itself didn't seem to be of good quality.
The note read:
Dear Loyal Kirigakure Shinobi;
Thank you for contributing to do one of your lovely villages important missions. You are assigned with the task of assisting one of the village's seniors, Old Lady Ashtavon. Due to her getting up in her years she has recently been needing a bit of help with her day to day route and you are the shinobi that will be helping with just such a task. Miss Ashtavon has requested that you (and any of your squad members) help her around the house. The most important order however is that you must remember to walk her into town to gather anything that she might need or want. While we live in a lovely village please make sure to also protect the kind lady and get her home safely. Again thank you for your contribution to our lovely village.
Sincerely,
The Kirigakure Administration Building

Sighing as he hastily folded the piece of parchment up and stuffed it in his pocket. He couldn't believe how mind-numbing these D-Rank missions were. They always seemed to just be meaningless errands for the village. However Akio saw how the so-called 'missions' were important to Kirigakure. After all they were a steady source of income and they never seemed to run out of them. Following the instructions the genin quickly found the address of Old Lady Ashtavon and knocked on the woman's door. Being greeted by kind words and a wide smile the genin returned the same gesture before stepping in the house.
Minutes seemed to turn to hours as the two sat in the kitchen talking on and on. Even though Akio was getting rather frustrated he kept his frustrations bottled up as he toughed it out. After sitting in the kitchen for countless hours Old Lady Ashtavon finally began to give the genin the list of things to do. Which wasn't long, but would take awhile seeing as it was already starting to get dark as the genin was told his errands for the day.
smiling and nodding the boy began to scan throughout the house, picking up trash and washing every surface that didn't seem spotless on sight. This took Akio another hour and a half and it was rather dark out as Old Lady Ashtavon reminded him that she had to run out and gather a few things. Sighing softly Akio quickly masked the sigh with a smile and laugh before following the lady outside. The two walked throughout Kirigakure for several minutes, visiting other people and going to the store before finally returning to Old Lady Ashtavon's house.
The young shinobi's blue hair fluttered in the cool breeze as he struggled to push open the door to the house. Forcing his way through the doorway with a towering stack of bags that the woman had him carry the whole way their. Dropping them with a soft bang the boy accepted a hug from Old Lady Ashtavon before quickly saying his goodbyes. Rushing out the door in a casual fashion Akio slowly closed the door with one last goodbye. Happy to have finished the mission the genin darted back to the mission board in at this pitch black hour. Gathering his reward his services were added to his record before Akio rushed back to his house at the edge of Kirigakure.
