PUPPIES!!! [Mission, FIN]

Walking up to the mission board once more the genin picked one of the missions off the board on a whim. Not even glancing at nothing more then the front of the parchment before he ripped it off the wall. Walking away from the board he flipped the paper over and quickly skimmed through the words that were dotted down hastily on the paper. Immediately his face lit up in surprise because one of the D-Rank missions were actually something he figured he would enjoy a great deal. The piece of paper had instructions for the genin to head down to Kirigakure's local animal shelter, which was a bit unexpected considering that the place was renowned for such brutal homicidal tendencies.

Excited that the he was assigned with such an entertaining assignment the genin quickly glance back down at the orders. Memorizing the directions to the shelter the blue topped boy rushed to the building with a wide smile on his face. Today was going to hold some enjoyment for the genin. While Akio didn't usually find himself so overjoyed the boy couldn't help it this time. If there was one thing that the genin enjoyed in this world still was the cuteness of a young puppy or kitten. The little fuzzballs just always seemed to force a smile on Akio's face, no matter how bad of a day he was having.

As the genin stepped into the building the humidity of the Misty village seemed to blow right away from the male as he began to act a bit more casually. Taking calm and decent sized strides the genin found his way to one of the workers of the shelter. "Oh you must be the genin that we requested. You will have the lovely pleasure of taking care of the new habitats of the shelter. Giving them baths and making sure they are all around healthy." Eager to start working with the cute little animals the young boy simply nodded and let the woman guide him to the area he would be working in.

The room that Akio was taken into had several empty dog carriers along with buckets and products used to clean the animals. Not even having to be told to get to work the genin snatched up on of the small dogs and put them in a bucket that had just a few inches of water. Rubbing the sorta work liquid into the beasts coat Akio got a bit sidetracked with playing with the small creature. Shampooing and scrubbing the puppies fur a few times the boy rinsed him off before drying him off and moving to the next animal. After doing this several more time, getting entranced by the cuteness as he played more and more with the beasts.

Although he was done washing the shelter animals Akio gave a wide smile as he began to give them a little extra grooming. After they were all cleaned up the blue haired male gave them a quick look over for any worrying signs any of the creatures might have. Placing the young pups and kittens in their wooden carriers Akio continued to have an undying smile as he was move to the front desk. Actually enjoying himself Akio conversed with several customers about the various animals he had worked with in the last few hours, even finding some of them nice new families. However the genin knew he couldn't stay much longer seeing as it was just a mission. Saying goodbye to the rest of the shelter workers and some of the animals Akio was reluctant to leave as he slipped out the door and into the gloomy atmosphere that was the Bloody Mist. Sighing softly the genin made his way back to the mission board to pick up his reward for completing the task he was assigned.
