However, Raphael can become angry when his friends are hurt or injured. He is also willing to sacrifice things important to him to save his friends from danger.Despite his easy-going personality, Raphael has shown that he has hidden talent as a shinobi. Raphael is calm, collected, and highly perceptive. He is respectful of those around him; he doesn't like freely speaking about others' pasts, and was said to be a very nice person. Raphael also deeply cares for the village and all the shinobi, saying that they all are a big family. Raphael is one of those charismatic people without actually trying to be. He says that he isn't charismatic, but his siblings say otherwise. That being said despite his age Raphael is extremely mature. History: "Have you ever felt like you weren't supposed to exist in this world." The past of this man was dark, darker than most within this or any lifetime. He was a Uzumaki and thus struggled throughout his life. He was born in some run down village. It could've been called the slums. Growing up let's just say his path was drowned in blood. He was a killer and a thief. I know your wondering where are his parents in this. Well they left the rundown village. They weren't ready for a child and wanted to get out of the "slums".

say animal I mean it in the literal sense. The boy couldn't even talk and had no sense of what was right or wrong. He learned and fought off of instinct.
The village slowly began to die causing the young Uzumaki to leave himself and find a new place to call home. Rather find a place to call home period. He wandered and wandered. He traveled for months not coming across any village. It wasn't like he was actually trying to find anywhere to go. Years went by and he had decided to live within the wilderness. He hunted and found what food he could. He often attacked passing travelers and caravans stealing their food and if they resisted killing them. There was a day that a single person was passing through what had become the boys territory. This person had a powerful Aura about him, but the boy did not care he went to attack the man, but found himself being quickly subdued. This man turned out to be a shinobi. He was aligned with a village, but he was a vagabond, a enigma, he was the wind itself.
The man saw promise in the young boy and took him in teaching him how to talk among other things. He taught the boy the importance of family and togetherness. Eventually he brought the boy back to the village that he was from. It was Konoha. The man entered the boy into the academy and from there his new life began.
In the Academy the boy was extremely quiet at first. He wasn't used to being around such warm people considering where he came from. On top of that he was used to being alone and was uncomfortable around all these people. You could imagine how his first year in the Academy went. He sat in the back and kept to himself for an entire year. His second year in the Academy was a little better when someone in the class actually put the effort in to talk to him. The funny thing about the person who put in that effort is he was a Uchiha. You know how they say History is doomed to repeat itself, well that would come to be true for the Young Uzumaki and Uchiha. Over the course of the second year the young Uzumaki warmed up and became popular amongst his class, but his best friend almost like a brother was the young Uchiha. Their third and last year in the Academy is when the boy really came out of his shell. Him and the Uchiha competed fiercely for the top spot in the class; by the end of it all they had tied for top of the class. This tie however couldn't be broken and such would start their lifetime rivalry.
The two ended up assigned to the same squad just adding to their rivalry although now it was a little more dangerous. They put themselves into a situation where they could have died, but came away from a near death situation due to both of their talents. Their squad had taken a simple escort mission. The client was a small town blacksmith. You would think that this would be a easy mission, but one couldn't be more wrong. Somehow the group was split up and that is when Bandits began to attack them. The young Uzumaki managed somehow begin wounded but nothing seriously. He was used to this kind of thing. He eventually found his squad mates, but one of the bandits had gotten the drop on the. The Young Uzumaki was to far to do anything about it, but the Uchiha came flying through the air and ended up getting a gash over his eye. By this time the young Uzumaki had come and caught the bandit by surprise taking him out in a swift strike to the back of the neck. While the young Uchiha was being attended to there was another bandit, but this one couldn't be detected by the 3 young genin. The bandit was just about to strike when the Uchiha boy pushed the Uzumaki out of the way without a word and stabbed forward with a kunai. He manged to stab the bandit in the shoulder, but it appeared as if no one was there. Only the Uchiha boy could see them because his sharingan had awakened. The trios sensei swooped in and finished the job, but for the young genin this was a trying situation. They went on to complete the mission and return to the village. Among returning the young Uzumaki was met by his Foster Father saying that he had a sister. This sister was younger than him and also abandoned by their parents. The boy went and met his sister and over time they formed a bond. He explained to her that she could always count on him for anything no matter what.
Time passed and the Young Uzumaki had become a chunin. Within this time period a rumor had spread about his childhood friend abandoning the village. The reason for that were shrouded in mystery. This was hard for the young man to understand, but this pushed him to do better. Over time his popularity and fame throughout the village rose. He did many great things for the village and had become a respected and revered man in the village soon being chosen to take a special mission after he protected a important diplomat from harm.
Raphael paused and looked out into the crowd of Academy students. Their reactions and gazes of amazement in the story he told were priceless. "My point of telling you all this story..or rather my life is to show you that anyone can change given the right opportunities. Never give up on your family and keep striving for your own beliefs." The young Jounin smiled once more leaving the room.
