Welcome to Hou Tian, an Avatar: The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra roleplay forum. It's been eight years since Sozin's comet, and a few months since Korra's anti-beding ordeal respectively, and the three remaining nations, as well as the benders and nonbenders, are settling into an uneasy peace. As with any truce however, there are those that seek to break it apart, and plunge humanity back into war. The Bending Opposition consists of the Equalists in Republic City and the Jade Shark, a loosely organized cell of freedom fighters and anti-benders intent on ridding the world of those who hold power over them by any means necessary. The Original People of the Flame are conservatives from the Fire Nation intent on regaining the Imperialist power they enjoyed during the war, and the Bending crime Syndicates- benders looking to capitalize on their talent at the expense of others.
Your Choice: To build the world imagined by the White Lotus and support the Avatar, or to bring their work to more collisions, more disagreement, and more imbalance. Play as an original character or apply for a canon. When the world is in your hands, what will you do with it?
