Summons

Background: All bats are from a special clan that has had contracts with shinobi for centuries. Because they had to be relied upon as summons during any given situations, they have adapted to sunlight. While they still use echolocation to get an idea of their surroundings, they are as capable during day as during night.

Personality: Kougaki is a wisecracking, talkative little guy who enjoys clowning around. Quirky and emotional, he tends to hilariously overreact and has an overall childlike personality. He is, however, very loyal to his master.

History: Every shinobi trying to master a new technique needs to start out humble, and Kougaki is as humble as it gets. When trying to master the summoning technique as a Genin, Kougaki was the first creature Shudan managed to summon. During his long road to mastering the technique, Shudan had a history of summoning Kougaki during the most unfortunate moments when he was aiming to summon a stronger creature. Accidents aside, Shudan soon began to realize Kougaki's use as a messenger. Despite being a poor fighter, the bat was very fast and could be used to deliver messenges quickly.
