Festival Travels! The Konoha Route!

It wasn't too long before the Hokage and his escort team made it to the half way mark to the Land of Rivers. The group seemed to be laughing and having a good time, talking about how much fun the festival would be. Syndra stayed walking a couple feet to the right of the machine that carried the Hokage and his respected guest. Syndra would glance at them every once awhile and then just forward. She actually enjoyed traveling quite a bit, she liked look at the sights and what not. So far on their trip, she's seen very beautiful and interesting things. Earlier they passed a path that was lined with cherry blossom tree's. Which was quite beautiful.
Syndra remained mostly quiet the whole journey, letting out small laughs here and there at things and occasionally taking a drink of some what she was carrying in her tool pouch. The weather was actually quite nice, not too cold and not too hot. Just comforting. Syndra couldn't help but wonder what the festival was going to be like. She had never been to it. Last year a majority of the Senju's went but Syndra stayed in the village. That's what she planned on doing this time around too, until invited by the Hokage him self. A man she has rarely had any close encounters with, except for at village meetings and things like that.

"Ah, it seems like we are about to approach the island. I smell fish, already....."

Three Hours Earlier....
The game was pretty intense. Overall, Yuu-chan won the first round, some other guy won the second, another guy won the third, they took a relatively long break, and now they're back in it again for thirty minutes. Once it becomes clear that someone was bullshitting you, your instincts trigger. "Oni kao! You got no 10's!" one of the Jounin called out. He flipped open the card that Ryuho put down. It was a 10. "Ohhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!" he shouted. "Hehe....looks like you fell for it," snickered Ryuho, smiling slyly that he had collaborated with one of the female players and they were able to decisively trick one guy's memory.

The scene forwarded to Ryuho and his guests all on the bed, feeling worn out from the game that Ryuho had finally won. One of the guards looked out through the sheets, and could see that the morning was almost over. Ryuho sniffed.

As noted by the hokage Takeo also smelt fish and assumed that they were close to the Land of Waves now. Takeo hadn't realised it until now but throughout almost the whole journey he had a smile plastered on face. The whole trip was filled with laughs (although Takeo did force a few of them when he didn't understand a joke) and fun and was looking forward to the festival, all the talk of it had gotten him very excited. Takeo reminisced about all the stories his dad told him about the festival as the group made the last leg of the journey, his smile stayed on his face but quickly faded when Takeo realised he probably looked a bit creepy now.

Ryuho had relative success in the Land of Rivers. He found the perp behind the "Konoha killz Kiri and Suna" incident and sorted things out with the Kazekage and Mizukage, who were relatively reasonable people, although he had not seen the Mizukage since. The culprit was a lone group of terrorists who wanted to send out a message to the Five Ninja Villages about how the peace that was created was a false pretense. They were shinobi from Amegakure, although they did have parents stemming from the main villages. They followed their own code of worldly order, and acted upon it today, because this was the day where at least 3 Kages would be at the Festival. They had planned their assassination methods for years, honing him to take out a couple of trained shinobi. But Ryuho was able to find them using collected information from his own men and interogation of "resource spies" that led Konohagakure to find their hideout. After that, Ryuho's men capture them, interrogated them, and subsequently killed them. Just lone terrorists acting out. Nothing special.

He had enjoyed what peace he had experienced during the Festival, and hoped that the next one would be secure and with a lower body count. Obviously some heightened security would have to be added to the next festival, much to many people's dismay. He had to stop drinking sake too, for sometimes he could wander through the night fighting with high class samurai while mostly sober and not remember what happened the next day he woke up. But alas, festival over, home we come.

Ryuho boarded his bed-vehicle and they headed towards the boat that would lead them back to Konoha. "Yuu-chan... mina-san! Let's play Oni kao again!"

Takeo left the festival with a smile on his face. He'd helped the fireworks show, ate tons of food and even met a shinobi from Yukigakure. Overall it was a good trip apart from the tensions caused from the murders that had happened but thankfuly it was defused. Takeo couldn't help but look forward to telling his dad how great the festival was.

Syndra had decided to head home the same way she came. Through a path that was known only to Konohagakure shinobi. It was a route that took one straight from the Land of Rivers to the Land of Fire without having to go through any towns or anything of that natures.
As she walked, her long white hair swayed back and forth with each step, pulled up in a ponytail with ebony rings holding it together.
During her travel, she remained on the guard and was ready for any unwanted interruptions during her trip. She moved with speed, even running at certain moments. She wanted to make it home quickly.
