Name: Haruna Oshiro Song: I Was Waiting For This Moment Word Count: 359 Kirigakure, a village that resided in water country, a country mostly made of small islands with the hidden village being settled on the largest of the islands. The one known as Haruna Oshiro found herself upon the island that hosted the major village, having crossed the Great Naruto Bridge in order to get there, a very large bridge that connect the island to the mainland. She had been sent, along with her uncle, to the lands ahead of her mother. She had not known the reason why her mother had decided to stay behind in Konoha, but she would not question the woman. Besides, it gave her plenty of time to bond even more with her uncle. Her blue eyes glanced up at her uncle, staring at his red hair and shaking her head slightly. If one were to see the duo, they would not believe them to be related in anyway. Add in her mother, and it looks like a team of Shinobi rather than a family. Why? Because none of them looked alike, not in the slightest. Her mother had brown hair, her uncle red hair, and she had blonde hair. It should had been impossible for such a phenomena to happen, but it did. Though, Haruna would guess that it was alright for one could not tell who was an Oshiro just by looking at their physical traits. She sighed deeply, growing rather bored. She could begin making some origami for her collection, but she had no where to store them. Her mother would normally place them in some generic scroll, but Haruna did not have that scroll in hand, and her mother was back in Konoha wrapping up some business. Thus that option was out of the question. Though…. she did have an uncle. A smiled crossed her face as she looked up at Ichirou. “Do you know the Mizukage? The Mizukage, The Mizukage. Do you know the Mizukage, who lives in Kiri?” She would sing. Her smile not leaving her face, as she awaited the response, as well as waited to see if her uncle would sing his reply, just as she had sung her question. | |

Suna no Kai
D-rank missing ninja
“So just channel chakra into that paper,” Chikara pointed at the piece of paper that laid within the palm of her hand, “and it shall tell me what my elemental affinity is?” She glanced up at her papa, the man a couple feet from her position though due to his height, his shadow loomed over her small form. She cocked her head to the side as she looked intently at the piece of paper that would determine what affinity she had. Honestly, she really could careless, but her papa had advised her to learn her element and she complied. Really, there was no arguing with the man.
“That’s the basic gist,” the man responded, staring intently at the one he took care of by orders of the previous Mizukage. It surprised him that with only a year of knowing the little Shurajo, he had become quite fond of her and her of him. He knew that the little lady trusted him wholeheartedly, and she rarely went against his suggestions, she valuing his advice. It was almost as if Chikara was his daughter, and they certainly shared a father daughter relationship. The little one liked to sleep in his bed, and he welcomed her with open arms, albeit he would never tell a soul for people had the tendency of seeing something so innocent and turning it to something perverse.
Chikara nodded her head, taking a deep sigh as she commanded her chakra to come forth into the palm of her hand. From what her papa had told her, determining her chakra nature shall be simple enough by looking at the results of the paper. A fire affinity would ignite the paper and turn it to ashes, wind would split the paper in two, lightning would wrinkle it, earth would turn the paper into dirt before crumbling away, and water would either wet the paper or make it damp. He promised after they determined her affinity that he would tell her the pros and cons of said affinity. So, she quickly channeled the gathered chakra into the paper.
She stared closely at the paper, watching it turn to dirt before crumbling away. She quickly dropped what laid within the palm of her hand, wiping her hand upon her jacket before turning her eyes onto her papa. “Earth,” she chirped, quite happy with the element she had ended up with. Now time to learn the pros and cons of her element.
“Well, you certainly ended up with a good element,” the man proclaimed, seemingly surprise that she had gotten something like earth, “I thought you would had been water, though earth does suit you more.” He smiled, folding his arms as he cleared his throat. “Well, earth is a good defensive element as well as offensive, though you can tell that earth would lean more towards defense. It’s perhaps the best element to end up with if you are looking to be a defensive individual, especially with the jutsu associated with the element.”
“Earth users have an advantage over water users, the element being stronger than water. But earth users are at a disadvantage when faced with somebody with lightning, the element being pierced quite easily. So you need to watch out when it comes to lightning user, or be rather wary of them since you shouldn’t underestimate any of your opponents regardless of the fact you have the better element.”
Chikara nodded her head in understanding. “Lunch?” She asked, grinning at her papa, “you can advise me while we eat onigiri.”
The man chuckled, shaking his head as he ruffled Chikara’s hair. “That sounds like a plan.”

Haruna Oshiro The Innocent Malice Haruna walked down the long stretch of road at a pace that can only be described as slow, clearly in no rush to get to her destination. Why would she be? It wasn’t like her target would be leaving the small town a couple miles North of Kirigakure, especially when he thought he was safe. And even if he had been paranoid, the chances of him expecting his executioners to be children who haven’t even entered their teens was rather low. So she did not hurry nor did she worry, ensured by her employer that her target was indeed within the village and that he wouldn’t be moving to the next town anytime soon. And if he did, well she would continue with the mission, though she and her associate would require more money for the trouble. One would expect receiving missions from the underworld would be difficult for anyone, especially children who hadn’t yet entered their teenage years. It was one of the few annoying things about her job, being looked down upon due to her age, but a couple well placed words here and that changes. Though talk is cheap, and so she backs up her words by her actions, which has always proven to get the job done. And with every complete job, her reputation within the underworld grew and she ensured herself some loyal customers. She sighed deeply, eyes flickering over to the individual who would be accompanying her during this particular assignment. How the individual performed would determine rather or not Haruna took her on anymore, but she was confident that the child would exceed her expectations. The girl may be younger than her by two or three years, but that didn’t matter much within this world. Age was merely a number, the skill and experience of the individual mattered the most that was something her late mother had taught her. A faint smile crossed her lips, and she chuckled softly as her eyes turned back to the road ahead. With buildings coming into her field of vision, she knew that the town was close, and that soon enough the assignment would be complete. Yet, with that in mind, she stopped, shifting her weight onto her right side as she looked at her companion. A cruel smile graced her pale face and her gaze shifted to the left. “We are almost there,” Haruna said, her smile remaining plastered onto her face as she continued, “and I know you may be having second thoughts about this whole thing. But…” Haruna trialed off, eyes landing back upon her companion. “If conducting this assignment is going to be a problem, you should turn back now so that my time isn’t wasted,” she concluded, words that only flowed for her lips once her companion had stopped. “So, Chikara, are you ready to dive into the underworld once again?” Word Count: 480/700 |

Haruna Oshiro The Innocent Malice
Itsuko had thought himself a clever man ever since he was young, his mother had told him so as well as the people who inhabited the small fishing village, located west of Kirigakure. They song praise upon the boy, he being very intelligent for his age, and believed that he would make a fine shinobi. Or at least, a fine man who could protect their home from those who choose to disturb the century of peace from the shadows rather than taking advantage of said peace. Actually, now that he thought about it, people were technically taking advantage of the peace, for without shinobi constantly patrolling the lands looking for enemy shinobi, crime has flourished. He knew this second hand, for when he had been seventeen, the small fishing village was taken over by the Powell mafia. He couldn’t prevent the takeover, being one individual who had nothing but his minimum martial arts training against an entire gang. He had let the people down, he knew that despite them saying otherwise, and promised to make it up to them. Itsuko had joined the group under the pretense of wanting to join, but really he was there to infiltrate it and only that. So he had, building his reputation within the family and quickly advancing up the ranks. On the side, he made deals with a rival family, and seven years later he had finally completed his task. He had stolen the documents the Moriarty family had desired in exchange for liberating the fishing village from the Powell family. Yet, despite having a wealth of information about the Powell family, he hadn’t the knowledge of their allies. One such ally was the Setsuro family, and when he had stolen the documents from the Powell family he had also taken documents pertaining to the Setsuo family The Setsuro family was a powerful family; owning a good deal of small villages, controlling trade between the Powell and the Moriarty villages, and were in the drug trade. They usually didn’t get themselves mixed any other families business, and weren’t about to break this tradition, yet when the Powell mentioned that the documents stolen could destroy their reign, well they weren’t going to take that lying down. So the Setsuro deployed one of their few trusted mercenaries and her student to retrieve the documents and murder Itsuko. That person had been Haruna Oshiro and Chikara Shurajo. The two were speeding in the forest, leaping from tree limb to tree limb for they desired to catch up to Itsuko before he exit the Powell’s territory. It helped that the two knew what route the man would be taking, preventing the two from going on a wild goose chase, but that didn’t mean that they could calm down right now. And they wouldn’t relax until the traitor was dead and the documents placed into the much more capable hands of the Setsuro family. What the family did with the documents afterwards was none of their business, but there was just no way they would be handing the documents back to the Powell’s for they were clearly incapable of protecting them. To be frank, Haruna hoped they Setsuro family burned the documents, for there was no reason for anything to be recorded on paper. And if their thoughts didn’t immediately turn to getting rid of the documents, she shall impart some words of wisdom. Until than, there was a man to track and kill, and she could see his running figure up ahead. She motioned Chikara with her hand to stay behind the man as she intercepted him, the red haired Genin nodding her head in understanding. Haruna sped up, advancing in front of Itsuko before jumping down from the tree, landing on the ground softly. He stopped immediately, turning to go the other way, but halted those plans when he saw the Shurajo. “Yo Mr. Itsuko. You have something on you that doesn’t belong to you, and my client wants them back!” Haruna said, placing her left hand upon her hip and holding her right hand out to her side. “Will you hand it over willing or shall my associate and I take them by force. Either way, we are walking away with those documents.” Word Count: 715/1400 |

Usually I would leave said friend to clean up their own mess, but this time around this trouble concerns the likes of The Mafia. So it’s a good thing that we are individuals who are quite alright with stealing, especially if it’s stealing important information from a rival.
