Description: This mission will be posted on a random bulletin like board on the outskirts of your village, sort of as a warning to traveling people. "There's an unfamiliar person lurking around the outskirts of our village. Figure out what they are doing and report the information to the authorities."
The sun was graciously blessing the sky with its presence as was the constant gentle breeze. Kobachi knew for certain that he was in the Fire Country. He had heard many stories about its beautiful and pleasant weather and was not let down. It felt great and it also looked great. The trees were lush and green with leaves, as was the grass. The birds sang their hymns and the squirrels gathered their meals. It was as if everything was in synch or one, a state of bliss or zen. Kobachi made a mental note to return to this exact place to meditate before his visit to the Land of Fire was over.
AS he made this mental note he noticed a wooden board up ahead in the road. "Hmm?" His eyebrow nudged up as he squinted to read from afar. This would be a real challenge for him sense he hadn't 100% mastered English yet, but he enjoyed a challenge.
Kobachi stopped at the sign and read it outloud, sounding out almost every syllable slowly at a beginners pace.
"There's an unfamiliar person lurking around the outskirts of our village. Figure out what they are doing and report the information to the authorities."
His lips shifted to the side in a thoughtful expression as he began to digest the meaning of the message. " There is . . . a . . . hmm." He chose to skip the word he didn't understand and began moving on, hoping to later understand it. " . . . person . . . hmm." He scratched his head and also skipped that one. "around, ok. Outskirts? Out of the skirts of the village. Figure . . . that means find out. What they are doing and report. A report is like a grade, like in school. So I need to grade them, then tell someone named Au-thor-ity." He took a moment and removed a notepad. Scriblling down the words he didn't understand, he smiled and kept the message in mind before continuing the journey. He wasn't sure who or why he was going to grade this person, but he was enthusiastic and excited to be helping.
