Kobachi had finally arrived in Konohagakure. It was a rather bustling village, much like Kumogakure, but the air lacked the smell of sea salt and the banter of seagulls of crashing waves. His eyes wide open and his head constantly turning to and fro looking at every building and attraction there was, he subconsciously found himself lead into a tea shop. The aroma was unbearable and it seemed his feet and nose worked in unison to make him come to seated on a comfy couch waiting for a waiter to bring him his order.
What he would be drinking was a home favorite, being black tea with a bit of ground ginseng. His pockets full of traveling funds, he had naturally found himself hunting on his travels rather than buying food in small villages or at inns. As the waitress came around and set his tea down she gave him a quick wink which made him giggle like a school girl and bow to her while still seated. "Thank you ma'am." The steam rising from the heated leaf juice warned him of the heat, so he gave it time to cool by opening his notepad. Looking over some words he had previously jotted down on his travels he began reciting them and their meanings to embed them in his brain.
His murmuring was almost like an ancient chant as he made sure his words were only heard by him. As he looked back up to drink his tea he noticed a peculiar looking envelope placed on the table. Looking around for the messenger he found no one, well at least no one looking in his direction for him to pick up and read the letter, so without further ado he picked up the envelope and opened it. Inside was a piece of parchment that read . . .
"If you are reading this letter, then you have been invited to a very special event. Once a generation the teachings of Hachimon are spread to a few and now is the time for those few to come to the Land of Sound and unlock their full potential. Three days from now is the cut off to arrive at the Land of Sound, so move fast."
"The Land of Sound?" Kobachi looked around again and saw no one looking at him once more and guessed the messenger had left. He had no idea what most of the words were saying, but he did know those three combination of words were a country. Picking up his tea and taking a sip, he was smacked in the face by the strong taste of ginseng . . . ah just the way he liked it. He felt the healthy root revitalizing his body from his travels and with his final sip he left a very generous tip.
"The Land of Sound, Land of Sound." He said again with the letter tucked in the depths of his garb. He wondered how to get to the Land of Sound from here and even wondered if the letter was meant for him. Before he would embark on another travel ignoring the need to be in Konoha to learn he approached a gate guard asking for an interpretation of the letter. The man then explained to him that the letter was saying he needed to go to the and of Sound to be taught an ancient and rare technique. The man also said that it was probably a scam, but Kobachi ignored to negative doubts and went in the direction he was pointed.
