Takeo slowly opened his eyes, as they adjusted to the bright sunlight shining through the window. He rubbed his eyes, trying to wake himself up from his groggy state. Once Takeo had completely woken up he noticed the bed he was in wasn't his and the room was exceptionally clean. That's when he saw the nurse walk pass the open door. Wait...I'm in the hospital?" Takeo asked himself as he peered put the window. He noticed the courtyard outside where patients and workers went out to relax and today's weather seemed good enough for people to be outside from the few minutes Takeo had been awake.
Takeo snapped his head around to the door when he heard a familiar chuckle. "Ah I see your finally awake bud. Had long enough to rest?" The man said jokingly. Takeo smiled at the sight of seeing his dad there. It did comfort him to know he was there and that he could explain what happened.
"So why exactly am I here dad?" Takeo asked with a quizzical look on his face.
"Well...as usual you overdone it. This time at the festival and when you walked in the front door you said 'hi' and then bam you were on the floor. Out cold. I took you to the hospital and they said you just overdid and didn't have much chakra left so we left you here to recover." Takeo's dad replied, taking a breath after the long spiel. Takeo simply nodded along. He wasn't surprised that this had happened to him, he was certainly active at the festival
"So when can I go home?" Takeo asked as he got out of the bed to stretch.
"Now if you're ready. Doctor said I can take you home whenever you're ready and I'm to make sure you spend the next few days relaxing. Maybe go to the hot springs..." Takeo's dad replied as he handed Takeo his clothes. Takeo thanked his dad, pulled the curtains around his bed, got changed out of hospital gown and then left the hospital with his dad.
