Sweet sake

The wind rushing over her skin, Hana began to feel the chill caused by her sprint. Gritting her teeth from the wind chill and speed of sprinting she reached the Kiri border. I imagine that the border patrol should be arriving now. Afterall it is a bit suspicious to have an S rank ninja show up. Stopping in the middle of the road that would lead up to the kiri gates Hana began to stretch out her limbs. “Ugh, these long runs are always such a hassle.” Speaking loud enough so the ninjas who patrolled these lands could hear her. She didn’t want any trouble so she began to take a few swigs from her bottle that contained sake. All her weapons in plain sight and sheathed.

As she passed walked a bit closer to the gates hana began noticing a strange mist rize up around her. As if this damp cloud was trying to engulf her entire body. Distrusting of it she continued walking through minding her own business. Certainly they aren’t going to continue my presence to be unaccompanied for to much longer Another gulp from the bottle would leave it completely empty much to her surprise. The last few drops dripped out from the glass onto her tongue. ”This is troublesome. I expected this to last me a bit longer than this.” The haze about began growing thicker as she approached the gates.”

Her skin began to glisten with the mist that was in the air. Thankfully the warmth of the sun was down from her long travel as the sun was setting past the hills. ”If I didn’t know better I would say someone read up on me.” Surely a coincidence, but all the same affective. It is hard to make a shockwave around oneself when they are wet without electrifying themselves. Unwilling to risk such a fate she knew that her taijutsu skill would be the only thing she could rely on if this became violent.

Walking through the mist she felt the thickness of the cloud begin to dissipate as if trying to reveal the presence of others around her. Letting out a slight cough feeling the droplets that had formed over her body made her wonder what was even going on. ”Ugh this mist is unbe-” before finishing her sentence, Hana heard the strong stern voice. There we go just on time, giggling a bit as if trying to play to the matter that she had drunk too much sake, Hana usually found that people were far more lenient to  trespassers when they were inebriated. Such an odd voice wonder how he is getting it so distorted? Turning around now to face the figure who had asked her the question Hana simply raised her hands slightly in the air in attempts to show she meant no harm.

Tall and slender legs, Kami’s leather pants were glistening with the mist that had now perspired both upon her and them. ”I am so sorrrry,”[/i] she stammered nonchalantly wavering back and forth slightly to add to the act of drunkenness. ”Business? She said a bit dazed, ”Oh yes. Yes. Business let’s get down to it.” Walking slowly toward the shark faced man she began to take in her options. Well if he becomes violent I guess my best bet is just to light up the whole area with lightning but that would be quite a mess especially when this was merely for a social call. Information gathering was always just a social call even if she was spying but this was legitimately the truth this time she just wanted to meet with so of kiri’s anbu and talk about what was happening over a few drinks. There was also a certain family which was passing her some information about Kirigakure. Hanabira’s or something like that was quite an odd name she admitted. She didn’t really care what happened with them but she did want to know something about their daughter.

Standing there in an awkward silence she remembered the previously stated question after pandering a couple minutes. ”So sorry I am a bit scatterbrained at the moment.” A reasonably loud piercing giggle rang out. ”I was here to talk with a certain family? Perhaps you have heard of them, Hanaboba biba bira?” She knew there name well but in order to make him believe she was a bit worse for wear she slowly planned out the next action of tripping over her own feet in a way that if he didn’t move she would definitely collide with him hopefully she would be able to persuade him with a bit of charm to allow her to quickly speak with her intended targets before going to the bar and purchasing more sake.

As one foot stepped over the other she slightly angled her feet so they would barely catch upon the heel of the other allowing her klutzy attempt of flirting to begin. Should he not fail for the bait Hana would simply collapse to the ground. She certain had taken enough falls this one would be nothing.

As she tripped she smiled he was at least gentlemanly for catching her. However, her attempt was quickly ruined as she found herself slung over his shoulder.Not exactly what I had in mind. Still beggars can’t be choosers I suppose. Least I don’t have to waste any more energy. Wonder where he is going to take me possibly for interrogation. Playing the part she allowed herself to dangle over his shoulder hands hanging down and swing back and forth with each step occasionally brushing against her firm butt. ”Oh how kind of you. I was getting quite sleepy.” Her face laying flat against his back letting out slight grumble like one who was drunk would make. ”Been quite some time anyone has ever referred to me as little missy.” She giggled at the mans remark not carrying too much of her predicament.

”Oh no I wouldn’t go about doing something as foolish as that.” She said only partially lying realizing that any attempts to gather information was now out of the question without possibly asking for truce between her village and kire and that was out of the question with the predicament they were in at home. ”I was just coming to help you guys out I heard rumors about this family possibly going into shadier business. Poor things, surely you have all heard of the leaks, oh but not the food.” She somewhat chortled before releasing an unfeminine loud burp followed by groan. Ugh that was actually sorta painful sake while running not the brightest idea Hana. On the run back make sure you take water.” Making a mental note. Thankfully her lack of concentration made it easy to forget to answer question although she knew that holding it back to long was a bad option. ”Oh right location. Umm I think they were meeting me somewhere in town? I would have to make sure of course I can’t be too certain.”

Riding slung like over the man’s shoulder she began to think of appropriate questions to answer while acting under the influenced. ”Do you work out a lot? I feel like ya do.” She hiccuped slightly. ”I’m sure I can walk perfectly fine on my own. But if you insist I won’t complain.” Inquisitive she began to wonder exactly what rank he was, far stronger than most anbu’s I’ve dealt with and even more calm which meant he must of been reasonably respected. ”You can call me Utsukushii Hana, I imagine that you know of my little village Kumo. If you are willing to just let me talk real breif like I’m sure we can come to an understanding.” Another hiccup revealing itself. ”I don’t really care what they have to say most of what they say is just how upset they are with people every once in a while they say something about attacking blah blah all really boring stuff that.” As they walked on she glanced about from behind tracing out the path which the two were taking. Hmm, he sure does know the people of this town … he has almost take us to the destination.

Feeling inclined to reveal her true nature in order to get a response from him she thought better and just allowed him to carry her for a bit longer. Shortly she smiled from behind his back knowing that they did in fact reach the Hanabira’s residence. Sure hope there sweet kid isn’t going to be caught up in this would be such a shame. She had good potential. Having been researching for so long she heard of their family line they were an interesting clan, small but interesting she half hoped to find their daughter. Last rumor was she was journeying through the plains toward the village of Konoh which was her next stop. Sliding forward a bit Hana would look out from the side of his torso taking a peek as he questioned if the two figures ahead were in fact them.

Shrugging she couldn’t say for certain if those two were in fact them. The upside-down perspective on them made it a bit nauseating to remark. She was certain it was as they were both going to wait in roughly this location till she arrived. ”I can’t really say for certain.” Releasing a yawn she sighed. [i]Such foolish people I can’t believe they decided they could still hide out in Kiri. Certainly they knew that leaking was a severe crime. Honestly Hana would have dispatched them without a second care. Protecting her flock came first and if anyone threatened them she would go to drastic measures. ”So what’s your name handsome?” She smiled looking up with a fine view of his armpits.

Oh dear, another anbu Capt. Well this was the last person I wanted to run into, might as well be seducing a rock. He surely doesn’t care about my appearance, or at least he isn’t making any obvious signs. Suddenly she felt herself moving again at the will of the other Anbu captain finding her feet firmly planted back on the ground. Odd he is trusting me now that we reach the destination what is he playing at. After being placed she staggered a bit feeling more sick from drinking while she ran on her trip than actually being drunk.  Standing up she started wiping herself down from the dew that now coated her body. Don’t want too much of his element on me if this gets rough. Taking a long glance at him she felt strange, something about men taller men was always intriguing to her. She normally towered over everyone she came across making allowing a bit of an inferiority complex to grow. It was good to see someone on her level both in height as well as skill. I hope we don’t cross paths though in a more negative fashion, because charred fish is not my favorite meal on the menu.

I” suppose that you were so kind to give your own rank it is only polite I do the same. I am the Anbu Captain of Kumogakure. When I am done with them I will gladly stand aside and let you deal with this situation. I am sure they will be dealt with fairly.” She stated far more sober then what she sounded earlier. ”I do want to know a good bar after this is all said and done though.” With that said and done Hana began to walk forward to approach the two figures. As she approached her certainty that it was the Hanabira’s. She didn’t care much for stealth in such circumstances she new that they weren’t going to be a threat to her.

Approaching she said, “Hello Mr. and Mrs. Hanabira, mind if we talk a bit.” With that said she then began talking much softer to them glancing back at her company to check whether or not he got any closer talking hardly inaudible. “All I want to know is where your pretty daughter is.”

“We don’t know she left us to journey alone,” the husband stated quickly. Unwilling to state any remarks upon the rumors which she could only assume were true. He was fidgeting slightly and the mother seemed to have her hands behind her no doubt gripping a kunai in preparation to use if Hana proved a threat.

“Now please that is just rude,” the two hardly could react to her speed when she sprinted about them like a blur collecting the weapon which she had at the ready. Now in front of them again with the kunai she began tossing it up in the air as if playing a game of catch with herself. “If you are unwilling to tell me about your daughter what about the rest of your clan.” Noticing them grit their teeth she sighed unwilling to resort to violence. She turned her back on them. “It was nice meeting you.”

Hana’s back was turned to them for a split second when he jumped behind them she was going to keep an eye to see  how they would truly meet their fate. Hands ripping through their chest and removing the still beating hearts of the two. She didn’t expect that he would be quite so harsh so quickly. You said you were ok with whatever judgement, but I never would have expected this reaction. Not at all. Watching the blood ooze out of the Hanabira’s, Hana could only stare at the shark masked flgure understanding why he got his position. It took a special type of strength to pass such an awful judgement so quickly. Don’t show any disgust, you don’t want him to be suspicious of you. Her stomach already churning a bit from earlier she turned her back on the scene once again. Drinking before wasn’t a great plan.

Looking down as the two hearts rolled to her feet she only felt more sickened. I am going to need something strong to wash that image out of my mind. As he stated stay close she didn’t want any trouble she didn’t want to start and incident with kiri and she wasn’t even sure if she would be able to kill him if their was a brawl. They both seemed strong, but he would have back up if he so needed it … a lot of back up. As she followed the predator she saw them arrive at the residential area of where the family most likely was staying, there she watched as the crime was staged. What is he doing putting? … Oh smart, making it appear that Konoh was the cause. Their relations with them must not be the greatest if he is willing to pin it on them. [i]An the child will be so distraught, I wonder where she is going next.

Surprised when he removed his mask she felt sympathy for him. As it must have been rough even in a village where they pride themselves on the water. Asking whether she still wanted to go to a bar she hesitated for a few seconds. [b]”Of course,”[.b] she said unwilling to be rude to this man who ripped the hearts from his victim. ”Just don’t get to drunk maybe he secretly wants you dead too.

Still reasonably appalled about the way he so gruesomely handled it. Merciless, I don’t know how long I will want to stay here. Unwilling to say she wanted to go she nodded answering, ”Sure, I could use a couple of drinks after all of this.” It was the perfect crime except that their hearts were ripped out, who was the last ninja she knew that would do that compared to the one before her. Unable to come up with any, she could only hope that she could get completely drunk fast or that he had a lighter personality.
