Description: A single, black dot appears on the user's forehead. At this rank, all Genjutsu abilities used are upped in rank by one letter (chakra cost remains the same, however). In essence, all damage is upped, as is the requirement to break free from the Genjutsu. Gives access to A-ranked Genjutsu. This rank allows the user to break free from B-Ranked Genjutsu and below at no cost. All ranks must begin with this form.

Description: A half circle appears around the black dot. At this rank, all Genjutsu abilities used by the user are upped in rank by two letters (chakra cost remains the same, however). All damage is upped, as is the requirement to break free from the Genjutsu. Gives access to S-Ranked Genjutsu. This rank allows the user to break free from A-Ranked Genjutsu and below at no cost. To acquire, a 750 word roleplay indicating a life-or-death situation in the character's life must be written.

Description: A second semi circle appears below the black dot, completing the circle. At this rank, all Genjutsu cast by the user become a reality, no longer existing in the realm of illusion, but rather in the realm of the living. These Genjutsu cannot be destroyed, seeing as they are real. They must be physically eradicated or overcome. This rank allows the user to break free from S-Ranked Genjutsu and below at no cost. To acquire, a 1,250 word roleplay indicating a stressful moment in the character's life must be written.

Description: By focusing on the target's mind, the target's perception of time (and as a consequence, speed) is manipulated. The user can either drastically slow down the target's perception, or speed it up, both causing different effects. If slowed down, the user's speed and reaction time are lowered by one rank. If sped up, the user loses control of their body, causing them to constantly trip and exceed their determined location by accident. Can be casted via the snapping of the user's fingers (triggered by the noise) or by pointing at the target.[Unlocked at First Stage]

Description: The user alters the target's perception of reality, causing a shift in the world. An example would be the target believing that the user is 10 feet away from where they actually are, resulting in their attack missing. This jutsu is activated by first using dirt, sand, smoke, etc to shroud the user (activates Genjutsu via the sight of the smoke). This is the activation signal. [Unlocked at Second Stage]

Description: The target of the Genjutsu sees a massive, shadow-figure resembling Death, effectively trapping the enemy in absolute fear. Equipped with a massive scythe, Death protects the user and attacks a target ruthlessly. This technique is activated once the target spots a blood patch located on the user [Unlocked at Final Stage]
Clan History: Legend has it that once every few decades, a child of unknown origin will arrive on Earth, bringing corruption and havoc to the world. It is unknown where this power comes from, though rumors say that it descends from the Great Sage Hagoromo's brother. Its ability to manifest fear and imagination into reality is not of this world, and exists only to instill fear into the hearts of all in the world. As for the location of the manifestation of a human child bearing this technique, it has proven 100% random throughout history. It can be in any cave, village, cove, ocean, etc. However, all members have one thing in common -- they lack parents, relatives, or immediate caretakers. Often times they live a life of solitude, living as either hermits or beggars, never fully realizing their power.
