Looks Description: Keita is a very small kid, especially his height, and he looks rather bony in comparison to other people. One could tell that he hasn't really done much physical training, as he doesn't have very much muscle, but one could also tell he is very fit, and the various worn parts of his body hinting at strenuous work, but simply not muscle building. He has the lightest amount of muscle on him, to the point where he is simply very fit. He has a sort of gentleness to him, and an innocence to his overall appearance, especially his face, that one could easily warm up to him in no time. His hair isn't the most fair in the world, but it has a fairly nice appearance, and is a dark blue color. His hair sits in a bit of a mop style on his head, not really brushed or styled in any which way, and this sometimes makes a bit of his hair get into his eyes. His hair is medium length, going down to the nape of his neck, and the bangs reaching around the center of his eyes. He has large eyes, and his iris are rather small, but one could easily tell they are a bright blue color, brighter than his hair however. He has thin eyebrows that are a bit darker than his hair on his head, so they are almost black.
As you move down, there are faint signs of muscle, but nothing too defined or noticeable, until you reach his abdomen, which have a bit of muscle in them, but that is about it. His arms and legs are a bit worn, and appear to have callouses on them at parts, such as the knuckles and the bottoms of the feet. His clothing is a bit peculiar compared to other ninja, and one would be able to spot him a mile away. He wears a deep blue colored jacket that has a high collar on it, and has one solid red stripe going through the middle of the sections, and lining the mostly blue jacket. Under that, he usually wears bandages around his chest, going down to his waist. His pants are either black or tan, depending on how he feels or what's clean, and are simple pants, that are held up by a belt that also has his forehead protector of the village on it. He has two items that could be called accessories, and these are his signature orange goggles that he wears on his head, and a red bandanna he wears on his arm at the left bicep.
Personality Description: Keita is a very heartwarming fellow to meet and speak to, but sometimes it doesn't seem like he's cut out for the ninja world, as he is far too nice. He will never hit a woman, that is simply one of his rules, and he will also never kill anyone, thinking that there are other methods of beating someone other than killing them. He really believes that there is good in everyone, and tries to bring that out by being very nice and respectful towards others. However, he has no tolerance in his heart for jerks or bullies, and will openly confront them, should they insult his friends or family, even though he doesn't know much about how to attack or defend himself. He is very honorable, and is a very hard worker for how young he is. He believes in finishing tasks others give you, and this translates into most other things, including food and drink, should he be in anothers' home and offered something, even if he dislikes the flavor of what they bring. It's very hard to make him sad, and the only way to make him angry is to hurt one of the people he cares about, and then he can summon strength. He doesn't get angry often, but when he does, he essentially goes into a rage, but because of his status and naivety, he usually loses regardless. He's had plenty of experience being bullied, and he wishes to better himself.

History: Keita was born in the land outlying the Sand Village, in the land of Wind. The very small town that he was born in was home to an oasis that would attract a bit of commerce and travelers, so his town would get a bit of money here and there, but nothing particularly spectacular, and thus the town remained very small. There were various greenhouse farms in the town, and his father owned one of them that was responsible for growing different types of vegetables for the town. The birth had no complications or downsides, and it seemed that Keita was a very healthy baby, and as soon as he could walk, he was learning about how to farm and take care of plants and even animals. He was very kind and patient, as his father taught him things only when Keita found them interesting, and he was glad that his son found interest in farming and would eventually take over the farm for the small town, but his father was also aware that Keita could want to do something else, and was very supportive in letting Keita know that if he wanted to do anything else, he was welcome to do so. His mother was one of the kindest woman in the world, and would help anyone in need, even at a great loss to her. There was even a time when the farm almost went under, because instead of selling the vegetables, his mother urged his father to give them to a group of traveling nomads that were in rather dire straights in terms of food, and had no money. Karma made sure the farm got back on track of course.
When Keita was ten years old, this is when his story should have ended, but miraculously, he was spared from a great tragedy that killed his small town. One day, a group of bandits that were traveling in the area suddenly raided their town for supplies, and his father went out to fight them with the other members of the town. Some of the bandits could use ninjutsu, so the small town militia stood no chance, and his father was killed. As bandits were killing off the men and kidnapping the women, they suddenly found Keita and his mother. His mother grabbed the man and told Keita to run, but Keita was frozen in fear. Just as he thought he would lose his mother in front of his eyes, a group of ninjas from the Sand Village reached their town, and quickly cleaned up the bandits who invades the town. Keita would never forget the face of utter disgust that one of the ninja displayed, looking on the pitiful Keita, not doing anything when his mother was trying to save him, and Keita was determined to change himself. He steeled himself, and would set out towards the Sand Village. He wasn't like the other students in the academy, as he had no idea about the ninja world, probably a stark contrast to the others who were groomed for this sort of thing, most of them having their own clan, or their parents' ninjutsu or other techniques.
However, Keita was determined to never ever run away or be afraid again. This wasn't for revenge, but for the ability to protect the things near and dear to his heart, and to protect his own ideals. He vowed to never back down from a fight, and to always chase his own ideals, and fight for them to the death if he had to. However, this required a lot of resolve, and he had to repeat the academy for a year, to better get used to the ninja ways that were expected of him, simply because he had never even thought of chakra before, and it took his body longer to get used to using it, and his chakra network was probably not the best. After the academy, he was going to look around for some sort of teacher, because he needed to get stronger, and he simply didn't know how to do it himself.

- Akuma was guided through the streets, to the more pleasant smelling food court, although not the one he was headed to originally, but he didn't mind. The minister glanced backwards and rushed a bit faster, and it didn't take a genius to realize that they were probably being tailed by someone. As a person who knew how to effectively tail someone, break into their house and then steal their stuff without them ever knowing who did it, Akuma suspected that whoever was tailing them wasn't very good, and perhaps wasn't looking for trouble, since they had been so blatant, or perhaps this man was extremely talented at picking out minute details. Still, Akuma being pulled somewhere else, this didn't allow him to turn his head and have his own look out into the crowds, so he would have to use his intuition on this one. As they entered the food court, the minister told him that while some may have wanted the money turned over to the guards, that he didn't really mind it and said not to speak of it further. Instead, the man asked Akuma a question about the ministry of defense as a whole, and this sort of puzzled him. e hadn't really thought about it before, but it seemed that the ministry wasn't really doing a lot, but then again, it was nearly impossible to stop every drunkard or pick pocket within a city, however it seemed the rate of crimes like those were increasing slightly with each passing month. Akuma placed a hand on his chin, and rubbed the slight whiskers that he was developing there, and then decided to respond, thinking that this, much like everything in life, was another test.
"I'm not sure if it is a good thing or a bad thing, but I don't really see the Ministry doing much. This could speak for them reducing the crime rates and fulfilling their other duties without anyone knowing, which would display a lot of skill when one thought about it, but this could also mean that they actually aren't doing anything. As I see it, there is sadly an increasing number of petty crimes, but there seems to be a lack of larger felonies too, so it is quite a mixed bag, and it seems that the Ministry has yet to find a way of balancing it's resources to better fulfill all of their duties equally, while still maintaining high standards." Akuma went off on a bit of a rant, completely forgetting that he was talking to the leader of the Ministry of Defense with which he was criticizing, but after his well thought out response, his hand went to the back of his head, rubbing it in embarrassment. "I didn't mean to insult you or the Ministry or anything... he, he." A nervous chuckle escaped his lips, as he thought that he was going to be punished or something, considering Akuma wasn't sure if he was already skating on thin ice because of his earlier pickpocket ordeal. Still, he was offering this man a free meal, so hopefully that would sort of cushion the insult, if that was what he was going to take Akuma's statement as.
