Distress Signal! Follow up. [Kumo, Event]

Upon receiving the bird, Achilles moved quickly sending one to fetch Hana, his ANBU Captain, as well as Katsuro who, he knew would take longer to arrive. As the Messenger Hawk flapped away, Achilles turned to look out in the direction of Tea Country, it was far too cloudy to see anything useful but there appeared to be a few bright lights seemingly falling to the Earth. It was amazing, he'd never seen so many lights come crashing down, he had to admit it was an impressive site to behold.

He again moved back over to his chair, tapping his pen on the table as he began to read through Shinobi Profiles deciding who else he could take with him. This seemed to be something big, and if needed, he needed to know that he could go as well, so the Village had to have significant forces left behind in case someone tried to take advantage. Plus his curiosity had been raised by the fact a massive piece of space rock managed to crash down on their planet, it was so interesting he couldn't help but want to go.

"Hana needs to hurry and get here." His eyes panned to the clock and to the door as he awaited the arrival of the tall beauty.

Raikage’s main administration building. The carrier pigeons hardly made it anywhere when the one turned back around to plants itself on her right breast. Her eyes stared at the bird as if prepared to burned it alive and make it into a stew. She had been feeling, awkward since her night in the Raikage’s secret house. She wasn’t all that fond of the birds scratching at her skin. One hand reaching up over her would grasp the pigeon in the hand lifting it up in the air it was reasonably displeased from being restrained by the Anbu Captain.

Her other hand would now pull out the message as she already was preparing to stand up and slide down to the open window which lead into his room. She wasn’t completely sure what they were to one another yet other than and extraordinarily a couple of awkward days after few days of bonding. Sliding down her boots would be heard scraping down the wall till she grabbed landed on the small ledge of his windowsill. “Your pigeon didn’t really have to go that far.” She said tossing the bird free from her hand back in through the window as she sat on the ledge allowing herself in. Feet firmly planting himself on the ground she would now pull herself in and stand at the full height before. him.

“I won’t have to read this message now do I? You could just tell me hun?” She questioned if it was ok for her to neglect such formalities with him now.

It wasn't but a few moments later he heard a strange squawk from a beard and then the soft landing of boots onto this window seal. Causing the Kage to turn around, he smiled seeing Hana, there griping the small bird, as it looked like it was having the life squeezed from it. However it was graced with life as Hana tossed the bird now void of his message, and now trying to escape with what life it had left. Achilles chuckled a bit at the display before bringing his attention back to Hana, giving her a once over, 'Yup, still the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.'

Listening to her less than formal name, he couldn't help but smile at her, as he stood up from his chair and standing a bit too close then what would be seemed professionally appropriate. He figured, if she was going to test him out, he'd do the same, far less nicely however, "Of course Hime." He almost whispered out as the distance between them was only inches now, however it was just until he spoke, then he turned and promptly went back to his seat.

Now in his seat, he gave Hana, an innocent smile as if, he'd done nothing wrong at all and simply went about his business before reading off what he knew, "A meteor had landed in The Land of Tea. Apparently the situation down there is not good, we didn't get a lot of information from the injured man who brought the message, but we can only assume, there will be trouble." He sighed as he thought the situation over again, "Which is why, our big team is going." Before she could even question what he meant by that he continued, "Katsuro, you, and myself."

A soft grumble is heard at the window. Upon the sill sits a small frog wearing a small brown backpack filled with a scroll. It's throat inflates and deflates again, drawing attention to it's position before leaping upon to the Raikage's desk. Drawing back upon it's hind legs it's arms reach back and grip the scroll, pulling it out of the sac before laying it upon the Raikage's desk. It's eyes darted around the room for a brief moment before it's tounge darted out catching a hovering fly. With a single ribbit, it turned around and leaped back toward the window, landing upon the edge before leaping out again.

The scroll was sealed in red wax with the Guardia Family Crest. Inside it read. "Raikage-sama, word has reached my ears about the recent happenings in the land of tea. Allow me the honor of sending my esteemed brother, Crono Guardia, to represent our clan's samurai in the Cloud's name. He will await your further instruction at the village gates. May his sword be your shield. Signed~ Surge Guardia, Guardia Clan Shogun. "

The bird had found Katsuro on the training grounds with his squad. Apparently the Raikage had urgent business that concerned him. Being the diligent shinobi he was, Katsuro wasted no time in arrived at the kage building and even less time getting to the window seal of the Kage's office. If it was truly urgent then his use of the window should be of little consequence to the Kage.

Katsuro arrived on the windowsill in time to see a green frog depart by the same method. With a humor depraved sigh, he stepped into the office and looked at the occupants. First he saw was the ANBU Captain Hana and then the Raikage who was sitting back at his desk.

"Greetings Raikage-sama. Hana-sama," he said as he gave each a small bow in greeting. "Your message said urgent business. I hope my teaching methods aren't the subject of the business as my students need the discipline." He leaned on the windows seal as he spoke, not daring to enter further into the office save he actually be the one on trial and needed to get a quick getaway.

As the relation between the Kage and Anbu Captain were now far more cozy than she was use to she blushed a bit ashamed as he smiled. She quite quite enjoyed it.A meteor hmm sounds like a strange mission but best to always get all the details before making any presumed accusations. Trouble for those in The Land of Tea I suppose it is only right for us to go and fix it. As she was firmly through the door and now moving over so she could lean against the wall beside it she found a surprising Katsu who had taken the same approach.

"I suppose none of us use doors anymore?" She laughed slightly giving a wave to the Jounin. "Good to see you Katsu I imagine that you know what we are do-" She looked at the frog a bit awkwardly wondering why someone would send a message by frog but she wasn't the one to judge. She did make out the family crest which she recognized.

Quietly reading the message to himself, he rose his head looking out to his two fellow colleagues and acted decisively, "Katsuro go with Hana. Both of you can go ahead and go to the Land of Tea. On the way, Hana please explain to Katsuro the situation as well." Looking to the frog as he made a quick reply, for the owner, telling that he would in fact take the boy with him. Looking at the form of his two friends getting ready to leave, "I'll personally go with the boy Crono I believe his name was, and I'll also take a couple more Genin. This will be a great test and a good mission to have on their resume for potential future clients."

Standing back up from his chair, he swiped his arm across in a sharp manner, "Dismissed!!" After dismissing the group as well as giving his message to the frog he quickly wrote another for his personal messenger Hawk to deliver a message to both his own Genin, Natsumi and whom he'd promoted the previous night, Sanroku.

Making her way toward katsuro as well as the window she would crouch down once again to exit through the window. "Let's go Katsuro I will tell you everything along the way but now we leave for a cup of tea ..." she sighed, missing the alcohol but tea would be a good way to preoccupy her mind for now. As she hopped down from the window she would land upon the ground with cat like grace before turning up to look up to Katsuro who would have been disembarking after her. "You coming?" As soon as he would hop down she would begin to walk away toward the main gaits explaining.

None of these genin better hurt themselves this mission is surely going to be high priority mission probably around the villages, but their is no telling for sure. Turning to Katsu she then began relaying the information back to her Jounin pal. In a mimicking way she began to say what the raikage said. "A meteor had landed in The Land of Tea. Apparently the situation down there is not good, we didn't get a lot of information from the injured man who brought the message, but we can only assume, there will be trouble." She smiled, "Literally his exact words," recalling it almost perfectly with spaces.

Crono lay in his room in his bed, his eyes were closed as his head slowly turned, awaking from a sound sleep. slowly he opened his eyes, squinting as the bright light shined upon his pupil. the blurred shapes began to take a green form. "GRRRRRIBBIT!" The frog on his chest croaked, startling the young samurai causing him to jump up and hit his head against the top bunk, the frog reflectivly jumped back and onto the foot of the bed. "OW! Ow, Ow Ow!!!" he exclamed rubbing his head with his hands, trying to push down the newly formed lump back inside his skull. "GRRRRRIBBIT!" the frog muttered once more.

Crono's mom peered inside the room, chuckling to herself. "Seems your brother sent you a wake up call, dear.", crono looked over to her. "yeah, I noticed" he muttered rubbing his head once again before shaking himself back to his senses as she went about her business. Turning to look once again at the frog he released the latch on its satchel and pulled out the message. "Sending you on a mission, prepare yourself and await at the gate for further instructions from the Raikage. Remember now that you have taken your vows, you represent the clan. Conduct yourself accordingly, Aonisaibushi. ~Surge P.S. might be a good idea to engrave your new weapon with that jutsu your onīsan showed you."

Crono read through the message again to make sure he didn't miss anything. A mission, he'd be lying to say that he wasn't excited. After all of his training, it had come to this. He shot a glance at the frog and gave him a nod. With a small croak the frog leaped off his bed and out a nearby window. Crono sprung out of bed and quickly got dressed. Opening his armory he began to remove his tools and place them in an organized manner into his blue pouch. Against his wall rested his Sakabatō and displayed upon the wall was his Chakuratō. what sort of mission was this? He wondered. before understanding what his brother meant by using Ryu no sou. It was a simple seal but it allowed a swordsman to travel light while allowing him the freedom to pick the right weapon for the job as he discovered it

Gripping his Chakuratō he pulled it down off the wall and placed it upon his table, then he picked up his Sakabatō and placed it next to it. His fingers slid down to open the nearby drawer before pulling out a small bottle of Guardia Clan chakra infused Ink. using a small needle, he began to create two seals near the neck of the two saya with the ink, One on each blade. Each seal shimmered in the dim light, reflecting a spectrum of colors and to the untrained eye appearing to move while staying still, it was almost hypnotic. As he finished he replaced the stopper on the ink well and returned it to the drawer. Placing his left hand upon his Sakabatō saya, and his right hand upon his Chakuratō saya he began to funnel chakra into them, the seals beneath his hands began to twist and bend to the will of his chakra before burrowing themselves into the saya as a permanent engraving. Crono removed his hands, the two seals were identical in color and both were the shape of the Guardia clan crest.

Gripping his Chakuratō he quickly secured it to his left side, before placing the Sakabatō upon his wall. his fingers tracing the Kumo insignia that was embroidered in bronze about an inch below the newly formed seal. he tied his white headband snugly across his forehead and secured his bandanna around his neck. With a quick kiss he said his goodbyes to his mother and dashed out the door heading to the village gates to await his orders. All the while questions of the oncoming mission flocked his head while he tried to hold back his excitement from the anticipation of the new adventure to come.
