Looks Description: Shizen's clothing doesn't change much day to day. No matter what he's doing he dresses in his blue fur laced armor with gloves and boots to match. The only time he ever really changes his outfit is if he has to dress formal, which he just wears a plain black suit, and when he is relaxing in his house which is simply a blue t-shirt and black shorts.
His eyes are bright blue and he is almost NEVER seen without either a smile or a smirk on his face so that he constantly looks happy. He never styles his hair so it always looks sort of messy but it really works for the way he dresses and how his face looks.
Personality Description:
- Outside of Combat and Peformances:
Outside of combat, Shizen always looks, and normally feels, happy. He's always smiling and has a pep in his step. He never really starts conversations and when people talk to him he normally gives fairly quick and short responses when speaking but he never seems like he is trying to distance himself from the conversation. When he's confronted by people who come across as hostile or reserved in their speaking he'll normally respect their boundaries and not try to pry any deeper out of respect for them. However, if someone attacks his personal beliefs he will normally drop to a blank expression instead of a smile for the duration of the argument and will try and handle the issue as rationally as he can without it escalating even further.
- Performance Persona:
While on stage Shizen completely morphs into a different person. He speaks very loudly to make sure the entire crowd can hear him and always has a smile beaming from ear to ear for the duration of the performance. He will actively pick out members of the crowd to either volunteer in his act or to throw out requests for things they'd like to see him do. While on stage he only cares about one thing and one thing only. The happiness of the crowd surrounding him. If he senses the crowd becoming bored or perhaps upset with his performance he will do absolutely anything in his power to try and cheer them up.
- Combat Mindset:
While in combat Shizen's smile fades entirely and he takes on a blank expression. His mindset in combat is to observe the surrounding area and anyone nearby takes priority over himself in terms of defense, and then after assuring the others defense he will then focus on taking down the threat. He primarily fights using his sword but is also capable of using his fists and variations of his jutsu used in performances that have been optimized for combat. He will only kill others in combat if they have made it blatantly clear that there is no other way they will stop trying to hurt the ones he loves.

History:
From Humble Beginnings:
It was a chilly night in January in a cabin on the edge of a lake in Kirigakure. Inside there were three people a doctor, a woman who was screaming in labor and an older gentleman standing next to her holding her hand. The mans name was Rosuto. He was a retired ANBU member who had decided to open a fishery in the village. The fishery quickly grew in reputation and before he knew it he was the founder and current owner of one of the most successful and well-known fishery's through-out the village hidden in the mist, The Kenko Fishery. The woman was a fair blonde woman by the name of Violet who had moved to the mist village in hopes of a finding a more exciting life in a bigger village. She was a little disappointed when she arrived to see that the life really wasn't all that different, but she did meet the love of her life here and decided to settle down and have a family. Now they were here, wife screaming in labor pains and husband excitedly holding her hand helping her through it all. It took all night, but just as the sun was rising the child was finally born. It was a boy, and the doctor handed him to Rosuto with a smile asking him what he wished to name him. Rosuto had so many names in his head but none of them seemed to match the boy he held in his arms. He walked to the window of the cabin and looked out. It was here that he saw the sun cresting over the lake to form one of the most beautiful sunrises he had seen in his life. He walked over to Violet and whispered the name in her ear to gain her approval, she smiled and nodded as they turned to the doctor and said "His name is Shizen."
A Happy Childhood
From his birth Shizen was raised in the trade that his father now worked in, which was fishing and running the family business. As soon as Shizen was able to walk, his father began taking him out on the boat every day with him to take him fishing. During his early childhood years he fished only using poles and tiny nets, but on his tenth birthday. His father took him out on the boat with nothing but a spear and said that he was now old and strong enough to do his first harpooning run. Shizen excitedly grabbed the spear and peered into the water, but unfortunately the cloud cover blocked most of the sun and the water was exceptionally murky so for about an hour Shizen continued to throw the spear in the water with nothing coming up as he pulled the rope back in. Rosuto, put a hand on his shoulder and told him that it was okay and they could try again tomorrow, but Shizen asked for just one more throw and his father allowed it. With a strengthened resolve Shizen prepared to throw the spear once more, and just before he let it loose he...felt something. It was a sense he was unfamiliar with, but whatever it was caused him to feel weird signatures under the waters surface. He decided to wait for the signatures to come out from under his boat and even though he couldn't see it with his eyes he lunged the spear at it which caused the signature to disappear. Certain that the object had escaped he began pulling up the spear to find that it...was heavier. He smiled wide and hurriedly pulled the spear up to find that there was a fish on the other end. He excitedly jumped up and hugged his father, who was also beaming with a smile of pride, as the spear hit the deck of the ship. After this day he began to feel those signatures in every living thing around him, and from this he deduced that those signatures were a marker of life force of some kind and when they die, those signatures would too fade.
Surviving the Shipwreck
At the age of 13 is when Shizen dealt with the hardest challenge he has ever had to so far in the short time he has been alive. It was his parents anniversary and they went out for a nice dinner to celebrate. Afterwards they went to a bar for a few drinks and to relax, until a fight broke out between two drunkards which his father then attempted to break apart. One of the men drew a knife and stabbed his father, and his mother, stricken with grief, attacked the man as well meeting the same fate. The shinobi police quickly apprehended the suspect but they were too late. His parents were pronounced dead on the scene, and the next day Shizen was presented by ANBU members who informed him of his parents deaths and that he would then be sent to live with a foster family and that the Kenko Fishery would be sold off in an auction to the highest bidder. In the course of one night Shizen had lost everything dear to him. His family, his future, everything. Shortly after arriving at the foster family Shizen flew into a rage and ran out on them and into the woods to hopefully be killed, he felt there was no reason for him to continue on. He got hopelessly lost in the woods and laid there sobbing uncontrollably for what felt like days. He had no idea what to do anymore. While out in the woods the night he was stumbled upon by a small group of travelling performers. They helped keep him alive physically even though for the first few weeks he was with them he didn't speak a word to them. While observing them he noticed that they were capable of using Ninjutsu...but the way they did it was different from the ones he heard about back in his village. They would go to small villages and use the ninjutsu to entertain people, to mesmerize them and help them forget the troubles they may have had. It took a while for them to bring him back to even close to his normal self, but eventually he had pulled through. He wanted nothing more than to be selfish and hate the man who killed his parents for causing him this pain...but he just couldn't. He knew that he couldn't have been the only one who has had their life ruined by the actions of others and he wanted to help those that were like him and to defend them from anymore harm. It was here where he decided to start smiling no matter what, because maybe his smile would be all it would take to help inspire hope in others, so he would never let it fade again. He began to speak with the entertainers and they agreed to let him live with them for a short time and it was here that he learned the basics of ninjutsu and showmanship as well as learning to use hand to hand combat and weapons to defend himself from the potential dangers of the wilderness. At the age of 15 he left the travelling performers to head back to his village, with a new goal in his heart. To help entertain anyone going through difficult times and to defend them from anyone from hurting them again, and to do it all while constantly smiling.
The Birth of the Performing Ninja
It was weird for Shizen to enter the academy at the age of 15. He was in a class amongst a bunch of 12 and 11 year olds who were really tiny compared to him. Because of how old he was the other students tended to ignore him, which made it tough to make friends obviously. He drifted through the motions of the academy, learning to use the jutsu he had learned from the performers for battle purposes instead of just aesthetics and he even learned how to using a wider variety of weapons other than just kunai and shuriken. He also excelled at any kind of tracking exercise they threw at him because of he gift of picking up signatures that he now knew to be chakra, he decided to keep it to himself though as to keep his advantage over the other students. It was almost time for him to graduate when he noticed a student in his class by the name of Kenji. He was super quiet and Shizen was particularly surprised that he didn't notice him sooner, because he was very intelligent when it came to being a ninja. Shizen decided to try and make a friend by using his performing skills for the first time. He asked the instructor if he would be allowed to try out a few techniques he had learned to entertain the class and because they had already finished for the day they allowed it. Shizen went through with his first performance and managed to entertain a bunch of 12 year olds..gotta start somewhere right? But more importantly, for part of the show he needed a volunteer and he decided to take Kenji from the crowd. The boy who he had never seen smile before actually began to laugh and smile by being involved in the show to the class. Afterwards Shizen sat down and talked to the boy for hours and they actually became good friends. They both graduated from the academy at the same time and began to hang around the village together, practicing their tandem act just waiting for the day where they could actually perform for a group of Kirigakure villagers. Now Shizen is a 16 year old genin of Kirigakure and an aspiring performer with a single good friend, and a goal in his heart that he will strive for until he succeeds, or dies trying.

I sighed and leaned forward closing my eyes and putting my hands up to my mouth. I never in my life expected Bryn to talk to me in a manner such as this, but I was able to keep my composure. I stood up and said in a short stern burst "I will give my answer first." I put my arms in front of me on the table and leaned forward before beginning to speak, looking at Bryn first. "First I would like to clear things up Yamakage sir, it is true that I have been focusing my time trying to rid the world of the beast, but I have done so completely for the purpose of protecting my people. In the history of my village the Sanbi has attacked FOUR times, I would've been a complete idiot to just rebuild again and pray it doesn't come back because all it would do is cause the death of many more of my citizens in the long run, I was only doing what the Shinkage before me did not, take initiative." I would then pause for a few seconds before standing straight up and nodding at Bryn before continuing
"That was the plan anyway, but you were correct in a sense. The Sanbi had to be dealt with at one point or another before the villages complete reconstruction, but I chose to put it first and foremost on the list because I felt like it had attacked me personally and I allowed that to blind me into completely blowing off my villagers and focusing all of my efforts to putting it out of commission. In doing so I not only failed you as an ally, but I failed you as a friend. I'm sorry for putting the stress of taking care of my villagers on you, I should've at least repaired Fukamigakure on the surface and set up temporary lodgings until the Sanbi was dealt with. So from the bottom of my heart I apologize Bryn."
I then turned to the other two kage in attendance and began to address them.
"Now, to begin what I have to say to you two. First and foremost if you plan on an all out flaming of the Yamakage calling this entire war his fault, please skip it. I am equally as guilty. Ever since my early twenties I was behind him in the fight against the two of you and at any point I could've told him to make peace, but I kept silent out of my own desire to harm the both of you.
I then looked to the creepily masked men and then said to the group as a whole.
"Through the words of the Yamakage and of these two young Uchiha my decision has been set in stone, the fighting should stop! We must focus on the more pressing matters at hand like they were mentioned. The Bijuu have caused so much suffering and strife in the world, and the damage they have caused is immeasurable, the only way we will be able to truly restore the world to the way it was would be to work together in doing so, just as what little is left of the Uchiha clan did."
I then returned to my seat and looked out to them all to give my closing statement before sitting.
"The floor now belongs to you two, if none of this gets to you and you wish to continue the fighting I will not object, but I will say this. If you try to kill me now, you'll have to kill an unarmed man, I won't fight back and you will probably succeed. Just know this, if the people of the world hear that you killed someone who was asking for peace and didn't even bother to fight back when assaulted your empire will eventually fall. The people will realize the true evil in your hearts and the rebellion will gain many soldiers wishing to dethrone you and in time, your troops would be dropped to mere hundreds instead of thousands. So if you wish to kill me here and now go ahead, but all you will be doing is signing your death certificate." I would then sit down and wait for someone else to begin speaking.
