Cleaning Duty and Pestering Bandits (Kain)

Kain has got some work to do this morning as it has been told all genins ninja get their own shift for that day and the work the they going to be doing is mostly non combat oriented jobs ranging from cleaning some place to teaching new academy kids about the rules they going to be follow. " Arrgh , I am so tired and I can barely open up my eyes." said Kain as he complaining over the fact that he has got to wake up early in the morning. Kain has got some work shift to do this morning but he just does not know yet what it is going be. " I hope it is not some damn cleaning job again." said Kain yet again complaining. Kain quickly get off from his bed and make his bed before going for a quick shower.

Inside the shower, all he keeps thinking is about the good breakfast he is going to take if only his family still alive as he reminisce about his old life having so much easier life as his parents would do anything for him so literally he just do not have to do anything. The steam from the hot shower come by being release through the window which is slightly opened by Kain before he took the shower. After he got out of the shower , he quickly wear his ninja uniform before eating his ramen breakfast as usual. Kain knows that his eating diet wan not that healthy but for him that would do until he reach at least lunch. Kain quickly adjust his uniform before he opens the door of his apartment and walk outside to see the sunlight shines through him.

Kain is asked to report himself in front of the office in the morning and it is by that time that he will receive his job and know what it is. It is not just Kain that had to follow the procedures but in fact all other genins have too.

The distance between the office where he is ordered to be at within time in the  morning and the apartment where he live is just a few meters away and takes about 17 minutes walk from his home. Kain decided to rush that morning immediately rushing through his breakfast and goes straight off for his office once finished as he is afraid that he might be late." I am not going to be late this time." said Kain as he runs off to his office

After a quick stroll through the market as the market is just in between the two places, Kain finally reached the gate of his office as his superior just arrived at that time the same as he is. Kain is sweating heavily having ran through the route without catching a single break and exhausted and the same time but Kain also feels quite relieved that he made it in time or he might be scold again by his superior for being late like always."Did I made it?" thought Kain as he looks over the surrounding for any sign of his superior. Kain adjust his look for he has to come to his superior's office to report himself for the morning and after a quick adjustment, he does so enter the room waiting for some work to be pass down to him as usual.

" Hahh good morning Kain, it is quite unusual that you are early this morning." said the man mocking Kain for his constant lateness. " Just probably not today I guess." reply Kain not a inch offended or he just does not recognized the mocking he received. " Well to start with it. We have not one but two missions for you this time. For that one of your friends is unable to report himself this day, I will have to order you to do this two missions both by yourself." order the jounin ninja as he pass down the file regarding the missions to Kain. Kain gladly took it and read through the mission with a glance through it and shocked that he had two missions to be done. Meanwhile, the door is knocked and a sound of hand busting through the door is heard by both Kain and the jounin ninja. The door is opened to reveal a figure of a ninja behind it. A ninja of Kain's rank and age.

" The first job that you are asked to do is cleaning the area around Kirigakure and this include the area on the outskirt and the area near the entrances." said the jounin ninja to Kain to brief him a bit about his mission. " So i will be alone? doing these?" ask Kain as he feels a bit insecure about finishing this alone. Suddenly a knock is heard and the door is opened to reveal a lady ninja around Kain's age. The girl promptly walk inside the room casually and report herself like what Kain does earlier. " My name is Melia Tari, I am reporting myself for the mission." said the girl. Kain just sit there for a minute astonished by the girl's beauty. " Well here you are Melia. I have been waiting or you. Why are you late? Arghh never mind, let me introduce you to you team mate for today, Kain Tatsuke a genin the same as you and if I am  not mistaken you both are around the same age am I correct?" ask the jounin ninja to both Kain and Melia. " Maybe,,," reply Kain and Melia simulatneously before they break into laughter and giggle. " Well let us continue. The second mission is I will have to order to to get rid of the bandit around the outskirt area of Kirigakure. If you must, find the bandits' leader. The mission have been requested by many people that have been harassed by them. Now that my briefing is over you both can go now and safe trip." said the jounin ninja as both Kain and Melia turn around to walk away from him. " Ahh now I get have my sleep back." said the jounin as he lie down on his table.

It has been noted that the mission is requested by the Mizukage herself which make this missions much more important to be completed by both of him. While walking through the village heading for the location , both Kain and Melia have took the time to introduce themself much more and share the information they have got about the missions. Melia has said that she came from a clan of Tari which is not that popular in Kirigakure probably because it lack of influence around Kirigakure. " Ohh cool, so tell me about yourself and your clan" said Kain as they talk about the Tari's. Melia's face expression just changed with that question as she looks distant and sad in someway. Kain knows that something is not right but he just decided to keep it by himself for that time. After a few minutes walk, they finally reached the place, the entrance of Kirigakure village as Melia suddenly change the topic. " Hey look, we have arrived here."

Kain and Melia got themself a pair of outfit and clothes for their mission. As their mission required them to clean , they have got themself a pair of clothes to keep their ninja outfit from getting onto dust and dirty. They decided to begin the cleaning starting from the entrance as that is probably the place where most people go to each day. " It is not that bad for a cleaning outfit." said Melia as she turn around again and again to look what does she looks like in that outfit she is wearing. " Arrgh this clothes suck." said Kain as he refuses to wear the clothes outside the village. " Suck it up, Kain we will do this." said Melia as she drags Kain out of his fitting room. Kain managed to grap his hands on the door knob not deciding to let it go. " Come one Kain!!" said Melia as she tries to drag Kain off but to no avail. " No no NO!!" said Kain. " Okay, let me fix it for you." said Melia as she drop her hands off Kain and get closer to him adjusting his clothes a little bit making it look better for Kain to wear. " Here you go, you look much okay now." said Melia relieved about it. " Okay" said Kain finally agree to walk out of the fitting room as they head towards the entrance of Kiri with their broom and things to be use to clean up.

Kain and Melia got outside ready to clean things up when they saw that the place is all messed up. There are a lot of trashes everywhere and the place is not even considered dirty to Kain but horrendous. " What? How can someone live like this?" said Kain out of frustration as he starts cleaning. Melia follows him though she is not complaining as Kain did. " So how about you? enough about me" ask Melia to Kain as she tries to break the silence feeling they felt. "Well there is nothing interesting about me. I just got into ninja since I was small just got into the academy." reply Kain to trying to be more detail in his past towards persons that he just met. Kain and Melia is halfway through cleaning the place when a group of Chunnin ninjas just casually walk into the village while throwing a rubbish behind them. Kain got hold into the rubbish an dfeel vey irritated on how they poorly concern about the place. " Hey you there!! Do not go off throwing your rubbish everywhere you go into!!" scream Kain as he feels very angry that after all taht time cleaning someone just simply throw their rubbish away at that place. The man seems to be very regretful about his mistake as they apologize for their mistake and Kain is force to be calm by Melia who try to calm Kain down. " Calm down Kain, he has already apologizes!" said Melia to calm Kain down.

Kain has finally managed to calm down and all the commotion have finally managed to subsides after the man apologized for his mistake and it is all thanks to Melia who help out to control the situation for getting worsen. " Thanks for ... hrmm prevent me from going outrage just now. Honestly if you were not there to calm me down, by now I will probably me stuck up in jail for punching that guy down, hehe" said Kain out of shame on what he had done. " Awww welcome but never mind it is just my ob as a friend." said Melia to Kain. After all the commotion have been settled, Kain and Melia got back into their cleaning job and after a few minutes more into it, they have finally managed to clean the whole area. The whole area looks squeaky clean without any sign of dust or rubbish around it anywhere. Kain feels very proud of their work and their teamwork to done so. " Yes, we finally managed to done this and now to another mission." said Kain finally smiling that their cleaning job is finally done and they are now ready for the real mission. As Kain and Melia is about to take off suddenly a group of kid coming from the nearest school just come running into the area.

"Oh noo!" said Melia as they looked upon the kids that coming closer to them. The kids are from the school nearby and by the time now, it is supposedly their recess as that is why they are here today. " It is their recess!!' said Melia to Kain while Kain looks upon the horror as their work is been destroyed one by one. The kids running around leaving rubbish in their wake and make the whole area dirty again as if they had never clean it. Kain feels very annoyed of the situation and chase after the kids to stop them," Stop, Stop!" said Kain warning them to stop but to no avail they did not even listen to his talk. Melia decided to help Kain out as she helps chasing the kids around after Kain call for her help, " Hello would you mind help a little bit Melia?" ask Kain to Melia. After a few minutes, they have finally managed to captured them all and by that time, all the place is dirty again like before. Melia give them a bit of pep talk regarding environment and their recess finally over as they head back into their classes.

Kain and Melia have to once again clean the area when suddenly a group of Chunin and Jounin ninjas just come into the gate of the village leaving rubbish again as they have just got back form their long two weeks mission away from the village. Melia and Kain look upon them with horror and jaw dropped over the fact that they have to do all the cleaning work again like before from scratch. " Arrghhh!" scream Kain and Melia out of frustration over it.

After all the hardwork just for a cleaning job, Kain and Melia have finally finished their work yet once again and they have now finally ready to leave for their other mission. They had been required to put down this unhealthy activity of bandits that have been plundering the merchant all over Kirigakure especially near the outskirt of the village. It has been reportedly that they have been organized by a leader although by now it is still unknown to who is the leader of this bandits. Kain and Melia's mission is to beat the crap out of these bandits and if able find and also stop the bandit leader once and for all. Kain and Melia are pretty much late for this mission, as on the briefing earlier, they had been briefed about the bandits been active at evening but by now Kain and Melia is still not on the course to catch the since that earlier they were stuck with the cleaning job. It is almost night time,as the sun starts to set down. Kain and Melia try to quicken their pace as they leap from tree to tree in an effort to reach the place where the bandits have been hinted to appear this evening.

After a quick journey from Kirigakure to the outskirt of village which is dominantly populated with minor clans, Kain and Melia finally arrived at the scene but instead of rushing through it decided to take a few more steps ahead by planning their plan near the enemies. From that distance, Kain and Melia is hiding behind the thick bushes of the tree while still be able to hear and see them. Kain could clearly hear the bandits threaten the merchant for things and moneys even after they have been begged for mercy by the merchant. Most merchants in Kirigakure are ones that come from a very poorly financial family and clan. Thus, they have no other things to do except from becoming a merchant so this make Kain very much furious on how easily they took their money out of consent.
" Give you your money, all of them, ahahahhaah!" said the bandit asking for their things out of consent of the merchant. " Please sir, help me!" reply the man as he begged for some mercy but to no avail one who deny them will be beated up by them. " Okay, I have had enough of this, I am going out!" said Kain to Melia as he cannot stand any more of this but he is stopped by Melia. " No Kain, if we move now, it all will become vain!" said Melia trying to calm Kain down.

After being stopped by Melia suddenly, Kain and Melia heard a very heavy footsteps coming their way, Kain could not see it but it is definitely heavy enough to create a shock wave to its surrounding. " Ahh Boss, sorry to keep you waiting Boss, here our things." said the bandit with a very softly and low tone. " He is their boss?" thought Kain. " Hahahaha, good I will be going now then" said the Boss before the footsteps are once again heard but this time going away from them as the sound clearly become smaller and smaller. " I think we should kill this guy, hahaha" siad one the bandit to their friends before Kain could not wait for much longer and jump into the enemies. There are three bandits here each holding a machete and wore a very weird clothes pretty much so bandit like. " No Stop!" said Melia but she could not stop Kain so he decided to just help him out.

Two of the enemy face off against Kain while another one against Melia as the enemies slash their way through to Kain but Kain just promptly dodge them like nothing. The enemies are all underestimating Kain and Melia's capabilities as it could be seen on how they giggle on how they have outnumbered Kain and Melia. " You are okay there Melia? need some help?" ask Kain to Melia as he is worried about her. " Yeah I am okay, girl are not weak. I can do this!" reply Melia a bit annoyed by Kain. Suddenly while dodging all those attack by the enemy, Melia suddenly tripped her leg on the tree's branch that bulk out from the ground, making her barely dodged the attack as her shoulder is partially slashed by the machete of the enemy. Melia almost got hit by the enemy's attack and this worried Kain. " Melia!!! Are you okay?" said Kain. " You should worried about your self first boy, hahahah" said the bandits in front of Kain as they slash their machete at Kain .

Kain dodged and use his Water Slicer technique to flip off the machetes and weapons from the enemies' hands. The enemies are practically unarmed when they have got their machete away, so Kain took that chance to knock them back by kicking them with a double kick on their chest area. The enemy try to recover from their fall and try to stand up but Kain has first got into them. " Do not move or you will be dead. I am pretty sure it would not miss like the last one" said Kain with a very serious tone as he point his hands at the enemies, ready to cast his final killing jutsu at both the enemies if needed to keep them from silent. The enemies are pretty much frozen afraid of Kain as they hold still on their position.

Kain then comes to Melia's aid to help her as seems like she is at disadvantages but after he got there all he sees is that it has all been done alone by Melia. Melia angry that he had done damage to her precious's ninja clothes has cast a jutsu that flood almost the surrounding part around her with water coming out from her mouth that can drown and gives a impact damage to the enemy as her enemy quickly fainted from the hit made by her. Kain saw all those himself as he never thought Melia could done so defeat the enemy by herself and even cast a very intermediate level of water jutsu. Kain is very impressed by Melia as he ask Melia if anything is okay." Are you okay?" ask Kain. " No, my clothes just got torn up!" said Melia as she really loves her clothes. " So let us ask the enemies about their boss, shall we?" ask Kain to Melia asking for some confirmation. " Yes, we should I also need to ask for compensation for my clothes" reply Melia as they walked to the other two who were not fainted.

" So let us gets started,shall we?" said Kain. Melia just nod as a sign of agreeing to Kain. " Who is your Boss? Where has he gone to? Tell me" said Kain as he ask both of the enemies for answers. " We do not know and even if we knew, we would not tell you!" said the bandit determined. " Ohhh, so cute what a loyal servant you are!" said Kain chuckles after hearing the answers. " Guess I will have no choice but to use it!" said Kain casually making the enemies to sweat in fear and Melia does not even know what Kain is talking about but decided to just play with it. " Okay, okay we tell you! He is just a few minutes walk away in this direction. Once you got there, there is a cave and inside the cave is where we made ourself a lair." said the man as he was so afraid that both of them fainted after saying that." Wow so what is this thing you said about?" ask Mleia impressed and curious at the same time over the thing Kain talked about. " It was nothing, just a hoax to made them tell the truth, hehe" said Kain as he burst into laughter that his plan worked.

Kain and Melia quickly proceed down the road heading for the enemies. " Still I do not know if they are telling the truth though." said Kain to Melia was not sure about the information given to him. " It is true, I have saw it" reply Melia. " Saw it?" ask Kain curious about it. " Yeah, Saw it. I have saw it through their mind using jutsu." reply Melia casually. " Then why would not you use it sooner?" said Kainas they finally reached the place. The place is very much scary and spooky as much like any other cave. The cave is very big has very much confirm that yeah they can build lair here. " Arrrgh it is so scary, I am shivering of fear. There must be a lot of bats here" said Melia afraid of it. " You are afraid of bats but not a guy who could kill you? Do not worry I am here." said Kain trying to comfort her. Kain and Melia finally walked into the cave as it was at first pitch black but afte rtheir eyes have got used to it they can see a little in the cave. After heading deep enough into the cave, suddenly they come across somewhat a room where it is lighted with torches and from a far there is a figure sitting on the throne on top of the room. The man wears a very heavy armor and a large axe over his shoulder.

" So you have come, you puny ninjas" said the man on top of the throne seat. " He is the leader?" said Kain. Before Kain could finished suddenly the man throws his bloody huge axe over Kain and Melia. " Watch out Melia!" said Kain as he pushed Melia to the side with hims barely dodged that unexpected attack by him. However before Kain and Melia could recuperate further suddenly the man has jump into them from afar and using the momentum plus gravity and the weight of his armor to stomp on top of Kain and Melia creating small crater on the ground at the moment of the impact. The man wears a full body armor that even covered his face making Kain unable to see the face at all as he could only see his mouth and eyes. Melia decided to turn in the favor to Kain but creating a huge armor of water on top of them both protecting them from the impact of the stomp." Hhahaha you are good!" said the man enjoying his moment. Kain and Melia managed to back off from the enemy to further plan their ways to defeat the man. " He wore full body armor made of steel. Close combat would not do." said Melia. " Yeah, we some other way to defeat him." said Kain.

" I have got an idea! but this will need you to drive him off while I am casting it for the right moment and it might not be successful and dangerous" said Kain as he state his concern for Melia. " Do not worry, we will do this. Plus I trust you!" said Melia as she smile towards Kain. Their conversation is short lived when suddenly the man come for them destroying the wall and room where are hiding." Haha found you ahahaha" said the man as he is filled with joy. Melia promptly stick with the plan as she drives the man away from Kain. Melia shoots out fireball from her mouth that hit the enemy but does not do that much of damage to him as he is armored instead he just laugh over the attack that does not hurt him. " I will need do this or Melia's life is in danger!" said Kain determined. Their plan is to make a hole full of glue syrup that will melt with heat and stick him to the hole.

Melia constantly lures the man away from Kain that she had become tired from it. Meanwhile, Kain has managed to make a hole filled with glue syrup that will stick to anything. " It is ready Melia!" scream Kain to signals Melia while he goes out to help Melia. Kain has managed to lures the enemy toward the site where then Melia spurts out big fireball from her mouth that instantly hit the man making it red as it is heated to maximum hurting the man inside." Arrgh , damn you kids. I will kill both of you!" said the man in anger. The fireball also obscuring the man's sight from the hole incoming in front of him. Kain then use his water technique to wet the floor with water which made the enemy to slipped into the hole filled with glue syrup. The heat from the armor further melt and made the syrup more sticker that it was and to top of off, Kain shoots out anothe rlayer of syrup on top of him covering the whole hole.

" Yes it worked,Yes" said Kain as they jumped in joy and hug over their successful plan.

Their joy is short lived and their mission is deem not over yet when suddenly the man erupts from the glue as some of it is still stick onto him. The man walked over to Kain and Melia although his walk have somewhat drastically slow down from earlier due to the sticky glue preventing him from moving. " Damn you kids!!' scream the man out of frustration. The man keep walking forward near Kain and Melia by each seconds but suddenly Kain got something. " Metal and fire and water, that should stop it!" said Kain as he ordered Melia to cast fire jutsu over the man while he cast water jutsu over him.

Kain and Melia simultanenously cast their jutsus of water and fire element that constantly heat up and cool down the metal armor he wore over his body, which weaken the durability of the armor that at some point it starts to crack and cracking sound is heard clearly. The armor crack after being forced to expand and contract constantly by the fire that acted to heat it up and water that acted to cool it down. At some point the armor just change colour to black and the movement of the man just stop. The armor has become so stiff and brittle as it prevent any more movement. " Let us do this!" said Kain to Melia as she nods and follow Kain as they have their final hit by doing a spinning kick together side by side on the man's chest area finally cracking and piercing the armor into the man as the man is pushed backward by the the impact leaving his husk of empty armor behind. The man fainted as they quickly subdue the man.

Kain and Melia has finally managed to finished their missions as they head down to their office to report their mission and get their reward for the day. Kain had felt really happy be able to done mission with Melia and so Melia too towards Kain. Kain has finally made friend with Melia as they feel a closer bond being made between them after enduring the hardship of the mission from cleaning areas to capturing the bandits. They hoped that they will meet again and do missions together again as they part ways heading towards their home. Honestly this is one of the best days for Kain in his entire life.
