She wears a retro white Shinobi Alliance forehead protector that covers half of her eyes with a hot pink shirt, with white cloth around the waist. Unlike the rest of her unit, she doesn't carry a large scroll on her back but she does keep the attached arm straps. Additionally, she wears a yellow armband with the Kumogakure insignia, which was given to her by the Kumogakure office to symbolize the teams unity.



Personality Description: Ai is characterised as shy, thoughtful, serene, kind, and very polite, as noted from her Thundercloud Teammates. She is also very gentle, a trait that Hachi considers a useless flaw. Ai is the type of shinobi that dislikes competing and fighting. She is shown to be incredibly empathetic, and because of her upbringing, she understands what it feels like for Yuki to have such strict and overbearing parents. The young kunoichi has self-confidence that mainly stems from her long-standing admiration for taking care of her comrades.

History:
Birth: Ai is the elder daughter of two heads of state in the Kumogakure government, and as the first-born into a family that has never given birth to a shinobi, Ai was given high expectations and was thus subjected to grueling training's. However, no matter how strong Ai got, her father considered it slow progress and frailty disheartened her by eventually deeming her a lost cause. This was only because Ai was born a female and thus is made into a kunoichi once graduating from the Academy, unlike what her father really wished for, which was a first born son.

Genin: When Ai graduated from the academy, she was the youngest in her class at the age of 10. She was then given a position in the Thundercloud Unit, which to her surprise consisted of a familiar face leading it. In the past, Yuki at one point began protecting Ai from bullies. Despite Yuki not knowing who she was, he refused to let the kids insult and degrade her. Since they outnumbered him, they beat him up and knocked him out. Ai was forced to leave before Yuki was able to gain consciousness, but she always remembered his face. The two seem to always get together every sunday at a fixed period in time in the highest mountain in Kumogakure. They believe that the dangerous hike means nothing once they make it to the top and have all the time in the world alone.
