The sun was just ending its shift and the cloaked figure of Kotaro was a mere silhouette from afar as the large red orb of a sun set. With his recent life changes Kotaro had been sent out on an out of village task, not a mission, since that term is now reserved for his shinobi life, but a task. This being for the new organization he was forced into. It didn't seem like he would be missing much though as he recent sensei Garuda Uchiha had recently been appointed to be the Tsuchikage, so since his hands were tied, Kotaro had more free time on his hands and his boss Kagura took advantage of the opportunity.
His task was to do a bit of scouting in Sunagakure and Kirigakure. Exploiting his artistic prowess, Kotaro was to do some painting and give the crazed man a portrait of each of the villages. More time than needed was thankfully allotted however, which Kotaro was grateful for. He was excited to visit the Mother Land's of Puppetry and witness first hand some expert puppet crafting. Not only that but meet fellow puppeteers. Maybe there was a certain style in Sunagakure that they didn't use in Iwa and vice versa. Overall Kotaro was excited to learn and expand the knowledge he possessed.
