Crono watched as the clone attempted... well something appearing to be some sort of ritualistic suicide kamikazi attack using a kunai. it tossed the kunai haphazardly into the opposing winds only to have it immediately alter direction and fly into the clones face making him explode. Due to Crono's barrier, he would remain unscathed..

Crono would be dazed for a slight moment, trying to figure out what just happened and If that ninja was truly dead while the windstorm died down.

He would be scanning the battlefield and understanding what occurred. He would see the traveler struck by Raiki-sama's jutsu before he landed on the ground. Then he would see Junpei begin reforming himself out of water directly behind Raiki-sama. the former Raikage's clone would land about 5 meters away from him before most likely exploding from the impact. However before he struck, crono would shout to the clone, "Behind you!" hoping that information would be relayed to the original while he remained in his defensive position. hoping that the noise polution in the original raikage's location would be too loud for his opponent to be aware of the warning.

Junpei's clone was dispersed in a furry of wind, by its own kunai blade. Junpei would scoff at that upon being relayed the information, but he would move past it and let the battle continue to flow on. Reason being, the blades of wind he clone unleashed proved powerful enough to shred the boys defensive barrier he had set up, since they were of equal caliber. This luckily set the boy up for an unsuspected attack from the "Lightning Sage". Though probably unintentional, with the rain water that was on the ground and the child, with the side of the barrier being down, the clone crashed down like a bolt of lightning and unraveled its furry upon the battlefield, but with extended range. Water acting as a conductor and medium for the lightning, it would stretch to zap even beyond the boy who was now vulnerable thanks to the wind clones destruction. With the volts being of A-Ranking power, unless the child was especially resistant to lightning, he would be knocked unconscious or be rendered paralyzed for a decent length of time.

But, lets move back a couple of seconds, before the clone kamikaze's. As Junpei was reforming the brat decided to beckon out to the Ex Raikage's clone. Junpei wasn't deaf and was further away from the crackling of lightning on the mans arm, then the wielder of the lightning arm obviously was, but the call of the boy audibly went unnoticed by him and his senses were on full alert. Unless this man in front of Junpei was an animal hybrid or had blood that allowed him to hear better than typical humans, then he too wouldn't hear the call. The lightnings constant banter was just too much, but somehow the boy had knowledge beyond his own skills. Junpei didn't know this, but the boy didn't even know advanced clone techniques, but somehow as a Genin he knew the information gaining trick, surely he was a little too wise beyond his years for it to be true. Junpei's attention was on this boy though, for when his own clone got taken down the information he gained made him curious of what would happen. Seeing the boy shout out, though he was a decent distance away and couldn't hear him, with developed eyes and years of Anbu training where lip reading wasn't an essential, but it was nice to have, Junpei could make out the warning. So before the clone crashed into the surface, electrocuting the boy and sending the information to the original, Junpei would pierce him through the chest/heart and send a bullet through his dome/head at the same time, all before he could be warned via clone relaying. This would mean death.

Afterwards since the boy decided that staying near a Lightning Release Shadow Clone was a good idea, he would get fried and be at the least unable to move for a considerable span of time. With the lightning from the clone gone, Junpei would use the Hydrification Technique to swim over to the boy at an immense speed and at a safe distance so any remaining volts couldn't leash off onto him. Solidifying in a swift manner, Junpei wouldn't hesitate to fire the remaining four of his bullets into the boys body and one in his head right between the eyes to kill him. "Pew pew . . ." He would murmur as he did so.

As a bonus, the strange man would even be erased from existence from a Wind Jutsu the "Lightning Sage" had used. Junpei was a safe distance away from this shredding bowl of wind its whole duration, but he could only pray for the man to rest easy while he was dead, for he made Junpei's work very easy today.

ooc: well, I'm going to ignore the fact that you posted about 8 hours after your 48 hour posting limit. [72 hours for raiki, 48 for you, 48 for the NPC sense raiki didn't claim a hit or kill]. there is a reason why it's called grounding... lightning wants to go down inside it.  lightning clone doesn't explode in an aoe, it just becomes lightning and shocks stuff it touches... it doesn't make sense for the electricity to spread out, reach me, then flow through me to reach the ground that it was already touching even if the grass and mud is saturated. Electricity, and therefore, Lightning always travels the shortest path of least resistance.. might make my hair a bit fizzier then normal though o-o".

I'm still not understanding this weird obsession you suddenly developed to go out of your way to kill me. Raiki woulda been 6ft away from you, but you dash 30m to me instead. Completely ignoring a kill attack on a S rank ninja just to go and attack a D rank o-o? Not to mention nubari is your only goal and reason for being here, and you could, quite easily, could have dashed to it and then just completely escaped the village using that shadow->hydration combinaton.  Your post is BS and completely out of character for someone who spent years as ANBU.

Your obsession with killing me is completely derived from OCC reasons with no real IC reasons and is therefore metagamed out of character. This is proved by the fact you asked Raiki, an S rank ninja who specializes in raiton and is a very real threat to your health and well being, to surrender.  Yet somehow, you go well out of your way to try to kill a D rank fighter every post even going as far as choosing to not land a coup de grace on that S rank, just so you could try and kill me. you've been metagaming from the reset. Even your cannibal scene you described wouldn't of occurred as you are a "closet cannibal" and try to keep your secret hidden, not really something you would do out in the open. The only IC reason you have to kill me is so you can claim the sword for yourself.....  and with the death of the traveler... that reason is gone. so please enlighten us with your brilliance and clarity of thought. on second thought... lets see just how deep that obsession of yours goes.

Some blood would be drawn from crono's cheek. His Clothing would bear some scars. His Barrier had bore the brunt of the attack from the exploding wind clone, however some of the wind chakra had cut through, giving him a few minor lacerations. For now the cut clothing was sticking to the wounds which would allow them to properly clot. The gaps in his defenses would be very thin, due to the shape of wind chakra and would almost immediately close after taking the brunt of the attack. After shouting out to raiki's clone, knowing what he knew from his fuuinjutsu studies into non-elemental techniques, he would see the oncoming attack from junpei come after the lightning clone's crash, the resulting electricity would be absorbed into the ground. the clones high speed accelerated by gravity would have made him strike prior to junpei's bullets being fired.

Leaping backwards crono would make a dash toward the village, he needed to call out to other nin for support. His SST would be vanish as he did. Junpei's bullets would have fell apart before reaching his original location as he would have been at least 22 meters away from him. Before turning around to make a full sprint he would see junpei reliquify, he could only assume it would be to make another sneak attack against raiki or one against him. Now that the traveler was down and out they would be the only 2 targets.

As long as his Zen Trance was active, he would have the edge, judging from the speed he viewed before... He would be able to out run Junpei. Crono would resheath his katana and would hold the neck of the sheath with his right hand, the hilt with his left.  His right hand would also still be holding the kunai, gripping it against the saya.

Should junpei follow he would be lead into the heart of the village, further away from nubari and the former raikage and would only further endanger himself.

in my post I kill Raiki and the NPC dies from Raiki's attack . . . all that's left is you. I'm Anbu, this is a no witness scenario, not a you can live to be a Sasuke and hunt me later.

So before the clone crashed into the surface, electrocuting the boy and sending the information to the original, Junpei would pierce him through the chest/heart and send a bullet through his dome/head at the same time, all before he could be warned via clone relaying. This would mean death.

Even says right there . . . at this point Junpei's just killing any and all that can be witnesses, I'm not acting OOC if I wouldn't have tried to kill Raiki whom is actually my friend OOC . . .
Nindo: "To satisfy my hunger as a ninja, warrior, and most importantly as a murderer." That's his Nindo . . . I'm acting OOC by killing someone who I don't even know is D-Rank or a Genin? Your character surely isn't rping like a Genin if you ask me.

Then the Lightning Release Shadow Clone works as a discharge.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fKA9-5ZWEAY So the Lightning wouldn't chain with the water? That's what I was going off of, so I would like to get a ruling to see what's actually going on, before you Crono magic to continue the thread and worm your way out of another post OOCly. I put up with your stuff, still thinking about that Mid air pressure damage, but the moment something sways not in your favor, you say "well actually hur hur hur" I give you points that combat it, "Well actually hur hur hur" then I'll say "Alright whatever lets just keep it rolling and call it Naruto Logic" but, I'm getting a mod ruling, so hold your horses.

ooc: i actually read that as you were shooting at me... not raiki.... damn pronouns V_V"  I was wondering why you were claiming an auto hit on me then dashing to me to finish off a dead body...

and even in that youtube video you linked... it zapped the pain path who stabbed him in the chest, though contact. not by traveling along the ground.   lightning and water do share that relationship, but we aren't talking about me standing in a puddle thats being electricuted... we're talking about saturated soil the electricity will just disapate into the ground, not spread out along the top.

also side note... the lightning clone would have reached the ground before raiki, sense it was helping to slow his fall, so..... how are you doing all this while raiki and the clone are still in mid air?

He's already on the ground before the clone lands, stated right there.

Junpei wrote:
into the rain water accumulated onthe earth. This was possible due to the Hydrification Technique, allowing him to liquify his body and then even travel while liquified. So now with the entirety of his body out of the shadow and now a puddle that was perfectly blending in with the dish of rain water on the ground, Junpei would 'swim' over to a location behind the Lightning Sage.
The details of the rain water no longer being soaked into the soil and now on the earth's crust is there.
Now I'm getting a mod ruling, do not OOC combat me, I'm done putting up with you.

feel free, but what you just quoted...  no where in there does it say he landed..  he said he preformed hand signs while waiting for his jutsu and clone to land...  you really should read the entire quote

"Pushing off his clone while the clone kicked him up into the air, now removing the danger of hitting the ground from a deadly height, he fired off his, Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere Jutsu aimed directly for the Swordsman. While the clone he pushed off of that pushed off him, was now heading towards the Junpei clone, though not perfectly on target, the clone was currently trying to shift his body forward so that it would land on the Junpei clone.

While he waited for his Jutsu to land and his clone to attempt hitting who he thought was Junpei, Achilles quickly began performing hand signs again. His right arm immediately became encased in Raiton again, as a bolt began to form around the entire bicep and his forearm. Achilles himself had managed to land off to the left of where the Swordsman stood, roughly fifteen meters away from him, twenty-five meters from Junpei and Crono."

he fired jutsu, leaped off his clone, did hand signs to make his arm electrified then landed....  no way in hell did the clone he just springboard off of, land after him.    actually... if you stabbed him with your sword.... you prob just electricuted yourself now that I read that. also [side note to clarify] the junpei he mentions has to be your clone sense you were using your shadow liquid jutsu combo.

So, hey guys.
I've re-read this over a few times. And from what I gather, Jumpei is the winner.

Crono as you knew this event was an event that death could happen in. So you had to take that chance when joining the event.
I see that Jumpei is not trying to kill you for ooc reasons. His nindo way and being a previous ANBU seems like more than enough reason to get rid of witness. There are many characters in the Naruto series who have killed simply because someone saw something or just for the mere joy of killing.
Putting yourself in the area meant putting yourself at the risk of death.

So, Jumpei hits is claimed and Crono is dead.
After Jumpei posts claiming what he wants and exiting, this thread will be closed. Dont forget to pick up Nuibari either.
Thank you and have a good rest of your day.
I strongly encourage you to still away and make another character. :]

All opposition on the battle field was destroyed and the one who emerged victorious was Junpei. Checking his surroundings he saw no one, scanning them with a miniscule amount of chakra, he felt no one, he was in the clear, but it probably wouldn't last for long. Unknowingly to Junpei this was a training ground in Kumogakure, but regardless he wasn't comfortable lingering, so conjuring up a Hydrification Clone, he sent the replica to loot all bodies or what was left of them. The clone would also gather all of Junpei's belongings, that being the blades that couldn't liquify with him when he used the Hydrification Technique. Normally he would indulge in the bodies to not only erase evidence, but to please himself of his twisted cravings, but today was different. That twisted man, Shurajo . . . was that his name? Junpei wasn't sure, but regardless he knew these bodies could be of use to the twisted man and also they would possibly save some of his villagers from being experimented on. So with all belongings from corpse and his dropped and used weapons in his possession, he used the transformation jutsu on the "Lightning Sage" and the young boy. The strange man was nothing but paper shreds from the high caliber wind jutsu.

Both the deceased ninja's in the form of females of appropriate size, one a bustier woman who slouched on the clones back like a drunk and the young boy in the form of a spoiled little bratty girl was carried like a princess in Junpei's arms. All traces of battle were erased from their new frames and by washing the blood off his clothes in the rain water, Junpei was now freed from any suspicions. If anything he'd seem like he just killed that strange man that had infiltrated the village, a hero he was. Taking his earnings to an inn, he received no trouble his whole journey and he decided to rest up before he would leave back to Otogakure the next day with Nuibari.

[Exit, with bodies and all weapons, money, etc.]
