Akira walked to the entrance of the Cemetery, and noticed a elderly man standing by the gates. He was seemingly waiting for someone. Most likely me.. She thought. She had gone to the mission board, and accepted a mission to give an elderly man a walk with an escort. Akira hated being with others, but she was short of money, and clone's were out of the question.
Hopefully there would be something to do other than walk around, and she prayed that he wouldn't talk to her. She moved forward, and bowed in respect. "I believe I'm to escort you around the village. I am Genin Akira Sendo." She said, lifting her head.
"Hm? Why yes of course. I am Satoru." The elderly man, now known as Satoru, introduced. He began to cough a bit, but regained his composure. He smiled, and looked to the Cemetery. "I'd like you to come with me on my daily walk. Just a small one." He said, his smile never leaving.
Akira nodded, and walked behind him as he entered. She assumed that was the last of the conversation, and followed silently behind Satoru. He seemed like a respectable elder at least, but she still didn't want to conversate with him. Mother and Father are here.. Her look became distant, yet she was still alert.
Akira returned to the present as the elder began to speak. "My Father is here." He said, stoping to face a black tombstone that was covered in moss. For every life there is death, and for every death there is life. She thought absently. "He must have been respectable, for I sense it in you." Akira remarked softly, but no emotion was shown.
"Thank you young woman." Satoru replied, bowing slightly. He kneeled there, most likely giving his father condolences, so Akira dared not interrupt. She watched him closely as he rose, and walked away after nodding toward the young Genin. "I visit here often, but no matter how many times, it hurts my heart that he is truly gone." Satoru explained, looking back at Akira every now and then. "Do you have any family here?"
Geat. Just what she'd always wanted. To talk to her client more than needed. She was angry, but she tried to keep calm. Then she realized the question. "Yes. My mother and father are here. They.. Left me.. Forced me to stay home on a mission that lead to their deaths." She said calmly, trying to keep th anger from her emotions. Satoru nodded, giving her a sympathetic smile. She couldn't help but return it slightly.
"Would you like to pay your respects to them?" Satoru asked, in which she nodded. She lead the way silently.SHe stopped at the two tombstones, one marked Mizuki and the other Sei. She lowered to her knees, moving her hands to her chest and bowing her head. Mother.. Father... I swear to you both I'll avenge your deaths. I'll become strong, find my purpose, and finish what you and other brave Ninja started. She lifted to her feet, and thanked Satoru. "You're welcome." Is all he said before heading to thhe entrance.
