It was just like any other day in Otogakure. the sun was out and the birds were chirping as Zanji sat in the hospital bed. He felt anxious as he sat in his bed awaiting for the doctor or nurse to come and get him. Today hews was going to be undergoing the first of his implantation's into his body. He was on the road in his opinion on becoming a perfect being. He licked his lips slowly savoring the taste of his excitement his fingers digging into the bed sheets as he trembled happily. He was just hoping this surgery would be quick he wanted to get out of the hospital and train it as soon as possible.
If he didn't get use to it quickly he would be in danger on the battlefield. He heard the sound of a footsteps trailing down the hall as he changed out of his civilian attire and got into his patient gown and sat up in his bed. He smiled as a nurse came in with a wheelchair and smiled at him. "Mr uzumaki the doctors are ready for you." He smiled and got up and quickly walked over to the nurse and sat in the wheel chair. " Alright nurse let's get this show on the road, lead the way!" He chuckled and slowly closed his eyes as he felt the nurse began to push him out of the room and down the hallway. It was a rather quiet trip as he was moved silently through the ward down to surgery.
He was led through a pair of double doors and caught the scent of freshly sterilized instruments in the air. That put his mind at ease a little more. He silently got up from his wheel chair as he arrived at the operating table and smirked. Soon he was going to have a new outlook on life in a way. For today he would be getting implanted in his right eye a sharingan. He took in a quick breath and exhaled slowly and got onto the operating table and lay down on it looking straight up into the bright lights. He squinted as the lights were very bright and hindered his vision. He lay motionless except for the faint sound of him breathing awaiting for the doctor to get in and begin the transplant sequence.
