" It's rather peaceful today isn't it Kagura? Do you think it has something to do with the weather? "
A soothing voice spoke gently breaking the otherwise quiet atmosphere in the Hokage's office. The voice belonged to none other than the current Hokage herself; Lucifer Uchiha. Lucifer though she preferred to be called Luci had just started on her usual duties which included her most enjoyed duty, Paperwork. Adjusting her glasses she looked up from the paper that was laid before her. At the moment she was preparing a deck of Ninja info cards for the ninja of her village which were rapidly growing under her leadership. The young woman she had addressed earlier was Kagura Nara, a woman of unmatched strategical prowess and who matched the Hokage herself in beauty and grace.
" Yes Hokage-Sama, It seems the recent downpour of rain has kept most people indoors resulting in the lack of petty crimes and other unneeded disturbances.

A crack of lightning illuminated across the sky as thunder drummed in the air, and the soft pitter patter of raindrops transformed into a downpour hitting hard upon the earth and rooftops. The fresh scent of wet grass, trees, and dirt mixed with soothing scents of lavender filled the moderately sized room. Getting up from her chair Lucifer turned to the windows and around the office and began to close them. Though she enjoyed the clean fresh scent it provided her she couldn't afford to get her office wet.
" I suppose I won't be expecting many visitors today.."
Returning to her seat Lucifer sighed and picked up a blank Ninja info card turning it around in her hand while running her slender fingers up the edges. Since she had became Hokage her current goal was to see that her ninja got the best training and that her village was properly protected. She didn't need to worry about the income because there was always someone somewhere willing to hire ninja's to do something.
Looking up from the card she turned her attention back to Kagura." You are dismissed from your duties today Kagura. Take the rest of the day off...I can handle things here. Thank you."The dark haired kunoichi bowed towards Lucifer and smiled. " Thank you Hokage-Sama." Kagura quickly departed leaving Lucifer alone in her office.

The rain didn't seem like it would be letting up anytime soon as the Hokage turned her seat around towards the window to watch the rainfall. Her mind settled on things to keep the ninja and villagers motivated and happy. Closing her eyes she  removed the pin that kept her long locks in it's neat bun letting it cascade down around her in a dark wave. In all honesty she had grown bored of the peace and quiet of her village, though it was nice and she welcomed it she could see her ninja becoming lazy and fat from it. There was nothing getting there blood rushing and adrenalin pumping. Sighing she twirled a strand of hair between her fingers and watched the rain silently.

Kyo entered the Administration Building, wet from all the rain outside. As the boy began to walk forward, there were drops of water coming from his shorts. Man, was it leaving a mess! The Uchiha grinned, taking Yasu out of his jacket and placing him upon his head. "There you go buddy! It was a good idea to keep you there huh?" he question, smiling at his companion. The fire mouse squeaked and spread out on the boy's head, trying to get in a comfortable position. The genin walked passed all the different shinobi around him and made his way up the steps towards the Hokage's office. Kyo shoved his hands into his wet pockets and eventually got bored of going up so many steps. Whoever made this building should have inserted some other way to get around the place. Doing this could get people tired, which wasn't a good thing. The genin had finally made it to the entrance of the Hokage's office and lightly smirked. 'Time to make my spectacular entrance!' he though, the smirk growing bigger and bigger.

While the leader of Konoha would be watching the rain outside of her large window, she should have been able to hear the sound of her door being kicked down! Luckily, Kyo didn't break it off and it only slammed against the wall with a loud "Smack!". "Never fear for Kyo Uchiha is here!" he shouted, loud enough to even make the ninja downstairs hear him. "What's up Luci-sama?" he asked with a smile. Yasu seemed to have sighed at his owner's actions even though he had gotten used to it a loong time ago. Ignoring what Kyo had just done, the mouse would squeak as a proper greeting to Lucifer since his owner had already barged in.

The soothing sound of the rain calmed her senses but did not dull them. Though she figured not too many people would disturb her she didn't rule out completely that she would be alone today.   " Never fear for Kyo Uchiha is here! " Lucifer smiled as quickly worked her fingers to create the neat bun that she wore when working. Turning her chair around to give her attention to Kyo she continued to smile. " What's up Luci-Sama?"
He stood across her desk dripping wet with his cute mouse companion.  Shaking her head she stood up and glided over to one end of the room.

She didn't think too much on why the young boy showed up to her office soaking wet, but she wouldn't let him suffer from it. Pulling out a small box filled with tea Lucifer began to prepare a pot of water for it. " Kyo Uchiha. The weather and your attire seem to clash a bit. Why aren't you at least carrying an umbrella? Being a ninja means keep yourself in top form." Letting the tea prepare over a stove that she owned, Lucifer moved to Kyo and stood in front of him. The boy was quite an impulsive one for an Uchiha, it was a breath of fresh air to have one so unique. Removing her red and white long coat that held the Uchiha symbol in the back, she quickly wrapped it around Kyo.

" This should keep you warm until the tea is done. Now please take a seat. Is there anything I can assist you with?" Her voice was that of a caring mother, the same time she used with all the young people of her village. She didn't want them to think that they couldn't come to her if they needed to do so. Returning to her seat Lucifer moved the papers into a neat stack and placed them in a drawer. Her gaze rested on Kyo as she waited for him to answer.

He nervously laughed and rubbed the back of his head as the Hokage began to prepare a pot of tea. "But I'm always in top form! Even when I get sick, which rarely happens. Wait.. maybe when I'm not sick.. but I bet you get the idea!" he replied with a silly grin stuck on his face. He took his cap and goggles off of his head with his left hand and used his right one to shake any water out of his hair. Yasu had jumped off his head and landed at his feet before attempting to do this. The boy almost didn't notice when Lucifer had put the coat over his shoulders, only when he felt the warmth did he know she had put it around him. "Thanks." he mumbled with a small smile directed at his leader. Hearing what she had just said, Kyo looked around the room for a comfy seat. The genin walked over to the one closest to Lucifer's desk and plopped himself down into it. It was big and comfy, almost like a very soft sofa.

"Well Luci-sama, I just wanted to know if you could train me? We're from the same clan and you have to be the strongest shinobi here so..." he asked. Yasu squeaked and leaped from the ground, into the younger Uchiha's lap. He laid down on the boy's lap while Kyo began to pet him. Kyo looked towards the tea for a brief moment, wondering how it was going to taste like. He never really had it before for some reason, the boy just never seen it in his house at all! He faced Lucifer and waited for what she was going to say. "Well, we might have to wait until this rain lifts up to really go out and train... I never really liked this weather anyway.." he mumbled the last sentence.

The teapot began to erupt a loud but soft noise indicating that the tea was done.   "Well Luci-sama, I just wanted to know if you could train me? We're from the same clan and you have to be the strongest shinobi here so..." What a big request from someone so young. No one had ever asked anything like this before and she herself never thought of training anyone. She couldn't possibly say no to such a request but she had to make sure he would be ready to take on such a training from herself and not give up if it became too hard. A soft smile spread across her face as she got up and walked over to the stove. Turning off the fire she retrieved two mugs and filled them with tea. In one cup she added milk and sugar and in the other she added only sugar. Returning to her desk she set her mug with the milk inside down while handing the mug with only sugar to Kyo. " I was unsure if you wanted anything else added to it. If you want milk as well or maybe some lemon feel free to tell me. "

Returning to her seat Lucifer dwelled on the question for a moment as she took a sip of her tea. Wasn't it only a few moments ago that she wanted to make her ninja strong? A opportunity had presented itself to her in the form of this young boy. Setting her cup down she looked at Kyo and nodded.
" On the subject of me training you. I cannot turn down such a request, but I do need you to understand that this wont be easy and because you are an Uchiha I will make this much harder on you than I would on anyone else who might have asked to be under my tutelage. You won't be allowed to quit.... Are you absolutely sure that you want this? Are you absolutely sure you can handle this. Because let me tell you if your worried about training in weather like this then you will surely have a rude awakening. " Her voice had turned stern as she looked at Kyo. She needed him to make sure this was what he truly wanted and that nothing would turn him away from it. Her words lingered in the air along with the warm scent of tea. Lucifer took another sip of tea as she awaited an answer.
" If you need time to think on the decision please do so. I will always be here with open arms ready to pass on what I know.

Kyo gladly took the tea that Lucifer had handed to him. It felt very hot compared to his cold hands. "No, it's alright. I'm okay with only the sugar." he responded. He lightly blew it on it to make the drink a bit cooler, not wanting it to burn his tongue. The boy brought the cup to his lip and took a large sip, sighing after taking the tea away from his mouth. 'This is good' he thought with a small smile. He took an even larger sip than before, so big it wasn't even considered a sip anymore. Kyo was about to blurt out an answer once the Hokage asked if he really wanted to train under her. Of course he wanted to! If he didn't he really wouldn't be here right now. Just when the Uchiha opened his mouth to say something.. nothing came out. That was strange, a moment ago he was ready to give a plain "yes!". What happened?

Kyo closed his mouth and looked down, ending up staring at his close to half full tea. 'D-do I really want to do this?' he questioned himself. The boy ended up beginning to think about all the pros and cons for a moment. Well, there was the benefit of having someone from his own clan train him. But that just meant he had to train a lot with his sharingan, which meant he had to use up a moderate amount of his chakra. Then again, there was a chance to train with the strongest ninja in the village, probably most wisest too, to help him become great like herself. Kyo gulped before looking straight at Lucifer, determination shining in his eyes. "Yea, I'm positive. And this rain is nothing! I'm going to be the best student you ever saw, I'll prove it!" he exclaimed. Yasu looked up at his owner since he had stopped petting him. The mouse didn't really know what was going on, but could always be filled in later. Kyo had a tendency to tell him all kind of stuff whenever they were home.

The genin lifted up his cup and took another gulp of his still hot tea. The Uchiha laid back into his chair and waited patiently for Lucifer's response.

Finishing off her tea Lucifer closed her eyes for a moment. The young Uchiha before had made his choice and Lucifer was rather proud that he had done so. " Well I suppose it's only fair I give you a heads up about what is expected of you as my pupil. " Standing up Lucifer took her cup an refilled her cup of tea, putting more milk and sugar inside. The downpour of rain had turned into a light mist as the sun peaked through grey skies revealing peaking rainbows. The beautiful sight made Lucifer smile even more.

" You must always been on time to the training lessons. Let me explain what on time means. To be early is to be on time, to be on times is to be late,  and to be late is to be unacceptable and if you are ever late I will drop you as my pupil." Pausing for a moment she took another sip of her tea before returning to her seat.
" Come prepared, you may never know what the day holds during your lessons. Know that you will always be protected, If I give you an order do it don't ever go against what I tell you. "

Lucifer made sure to get all these things out of the way now so that when the time came to train Kyo would know what was expected of him. These things were very simple to follow and she would hope he did well to follow them. " There is also one criteria you need to complete before I take you in as my Pupil.... Master your Second Tomoe fully. Are there any questions?" She believed she covered everything and if she didn't well she would hope he would ask. Though it might be a difficult task it was required that he have his second Tomoe mastered so that he could at the very least keep up with her.

Kyo continued to take gulps of his tea, the drink soon ending up to being only 1/3 of what it originally was. He sighed and peeked inside of the cup, a frown making it's way to his face. He didn't notice how much he had been drinking until now, it was just a bit refreshing since he was in the cold rain for so long. The boy turned his head to face Lucifer again and began to listening on the words that were coming out of her mouth. So he couldn't come late.. at all. Well, that was going to be something he really had to get used to. Usually, Kyo would arrive whenever he wanted, and that meant very very late. There was also that tiny problem of being prepared all the time. The genin was one to be forget full... a lot. Oh well, all this just meant he needed to change these little habits of his.. getting to places late.. being forgetful.. yea changing those might be for the better.

However, Kyo's went wide at the requirement for her to train him. 'Master the 2nd tomoe... alright then, I guess that I have a new goal.' he thought with a small grin forming on his face. He performed a little salute at Luci while still sitting in his comfy chair. "You got it Luci-sama! I'll be sure to get my 2nd tomoe! When I do, you'll be sure to hear from me." he replied with a large smirk present. Now he just had to train harder than ever to evolve his sharingan. The boy placed his cup down onto the Hokage's desk and reached for his cap that he laid down on his chair. He placed his upon his head since he was positive that his hair was now dry. Kyo looked out the window that was behind Lucifer. The rain seemed o have lifted up some time ago since there was a full rainbow out in the open. The young Uchiha lifted Yasu off his lap and set the mouse onto the ground, earning something similar to a whine from the pet.

He then took off the coat that was still on him and also put that onto the desk, not feeling like walking over and putting it around Lucifer instead. "See you later!" he shouted louder than necessary. Kyo picked up Yasu and put the mouse upon his head while walking out of the office. 'Maybe I could even get to my 3rd tomoe!' he thought.
