Description: The product of a cultish ritual preformed upon one member of the clan every generation upon their birth, it is said that the God of the Volcano who created the clan speaks personally to the elders of the clan when they select the recipient and that he himself places it during the ritual. Regardless, the sealing formula is grafted onto the recipient’s eye only upon the barer reaching puberty and, often times, after graduation from the local ninja academy. The ritual itself is astoundingly painful though confers to the recipient certain advantages. Their understanding of fuinjutsu increases, their eye capable of, by some ill-explained mechanism, aiding them in understanding new sealing formulas, thus causing them to require a smaller than normal word count to learn. Additionally, the eye augments the user’s sensory skill, increasing it by one rank.
