Eden gazed upon the setting sun a top of her rocky perch, awaiting the arrival of her… babysitter, otherwise known as Mammon. He was a man she hadn’t been familiar with upon being thrust into his care, just like Tetsuo wasn’t a boy she was familiar with despite them essentially being raised as siblings. But one thing was for sure, Tetsuo must have an odd habit of leaving the group without so much of a warning. A certain someone was suppose to be watching them, but it seemed he had allowed her adoptive brother slip away. One could say she had allowed it as well, but such an argument wouldn’t get across for it had one fatal flaw. She hadn’t been the one tasked with looking out for the boy. Yet she wished she had, for she now had to travel to Kumo to retrieve him. This pushed back a great deal of plans she had, like the performance the troupe was to perform in Konoha so that she may speak to the Hokage and the performance to be held in Kiri so that she may unfreeze her dear friend.
Despite the fact her brother had managed to derail a good deal of things, she didn’t find herself mad. A feeling that may change when she saw him, but wasn’t the case at the moment. All it really did for Eden was to remind her to keep an eye on the boy lest he push plans back again. Perhaps she should divulge her plans to Mammon and Tetsuo, perhaps it would make them a little more vigilant and less prone to screwing up the schedule, though than again the probability of them believing her words were low. It’s not like many people are ready to believe that there were individuals not of this time. Only people who actually knew of her origins was The Boss and whomever had defrosted her, albeit she knew that person was long dead. The only thing she hadn’t quite told him was that there was a certain someone frozen as well, yet hidden within a secret passage of the cave.
It was a secret she had held close to her chest, for no one needed to know. For it would be up to her, and her alone, to defrost the Princess of the Ice Palace. She sighed deeply, head tilted as she looked over her shoulder. “Are we ready to retrieve my disobedient brother?”
