Enter, Chikara Shurajo
Chikara had been one sad little girl since the death of her Onii-sama, more commonly known as Nikolai Kaguya, the late Kage of Kirigakure. She hadn’t a clue on how long it had been since a man unknown to herself proclaimed himself the Mizukage, spewing empty promises of a better Kiri, and presenting the body of Nikolai to the masses. She had thought the masses would feel appalled at the display as well as the disrespect to the late Mizukage, even more so when the man passed judgment on those who had come before Nikolai, stating Mei Terumi to be the last good Mizukage Kiri had the pleasures of having. Yet they hadn’t. Instead they cheered, praising the man who had spat on the memory of the previous Mizukages and those who had fought for their survival. Perhaps they were blinded by the words he had uttered, or the money he had presented, either way she had felt deeply betrayed by the masses.
There were some people who were angry, though their number were few and had consisted of those who shared the same feelings as herself. Perhaps they hadn’t the same relationship she shared with Nikolai, but there were bound to be people who had some bonds with at least one of the previous Mizukages. So for this man to say that all they did was stunt the growth of the village, which she didn’t deem to be true, had pissed that particular group off. She just happened to be in that pissed off group, but she had enough self-control to not attempt to strike down the man. Albeit she hadn’t exercised that when she decided to beat the hell out of one Genin and trade blows with another. A fight she hardly could remember due to having been in her berserk mindset, only bits and pieces that form a incoherent timeline. And no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t lift the fog from that day.
Since that day, Chikara had lost the desire to smile as well as losing track of time, she felt numb inside and couldn’t explain the strange pain in her chest. There were a few times that she would break something within her home out of frustration and sometimes anger. She refused to leave her home as well as interact with anyone other than her uncle and those apart of her squad, having come to loathe the other residents of Kiri.
So it was a surprise when she finally emerged from her house, though it was not to train nor was it to go see the various people of Kiri. No, she was headed out of the village, having decided that she needed sometime away from said village to clear her head and get control over herself. She may not be a doctor, but she felt that getting away from the cause of her pain would do her some good. And thusly so, she departed from the village and headed to the Kaguya Temple. Where she would meet two peculiar individuals.
