A smile would cross Akira's face as she felt her fingers and Oboro's fingers touch. Though, there were still tears coming from her eyes. She listened to his words. His voice was quiet and soft just like a small breeze. His words were just what she wished could happen. She wished ever so dearly that things wouldn't change and that she wouldn't have to leave Oboro's side. Akira wished that they didn't have to go out and do the dangerous things they did. Anything could happen between now and later. However, Akira knew that things had to change and things needed to be done. Akira still had goals to take care of and she sure had a lot of work to do. She guessed the same could be said of Oboro. "If only we could." Akira would say her voice sounding soft and full of longing.
Akira couldn't help but keep her eyes on Oboro's. They made her feel like she was being pulled closer to him and their color was beautiful. The moment they shared now was wonderful to Akira. His hands against her own, the slight bir of breeze that had found it's way between the bamboo, the sound of animals, and just any little thing she noticed. This was when she realized that the few things that she had not found the slight bit interesting became wonderful. They seemed different than before. This would be what finally made her look away and focus on other things.
