Mission:

The weather in Konoha was good as usual. Only the occasional cloud floated by the partially blocked the hot rays from the sun. Takeo was holding a mission sheet in his hand as he tried to find his way o the nearest dog owner. He was to walk 4 in total, thankfully, as he wasn't so sure he would be able to handle many more than that at once. Takeo folded the mission sheet and stuffed it into his back pocket (his two front pockets had been filled by the two small towels he had brought) as he knocked on the first door. A young woman opened the door with her dog behind her on its leash. By the sounds of it there was a newborn crying inside the house so Takeo could only imagine how much time had to be taken up for the young child. The woman thanked Takeo and gave him a treat for the dog before quickly closing the door again to attend to her baby. The process of getting each dog continued. The rest of the owners seemed to be older people who probably didn't have as much energy to walk their dogs. Especially on a hot day like this.

Takeo stood nearby the last dog owners house for a few minutes as he tried to sort out the multiple leashes he held. Luckily for him the dogs didn't seem to mind one another. While Takeo stood awkwardly, trying o sort everything out and make sure he had everything he needed the dogs sniffed at each other curiously, tails wagging. A few of them even let out a playful bark towards another. Eventually Takeo was ready and began to walk the dogs.

He had decided to not take them outside the village since he didn't feel as safe if, by some unlucky chance, he was attacked since he was using both his hands to keep 4 dogs from wandering off on their own. So instead he took them round the quieter streets of Konoha. Takeo could only imagine the chaos he'd cause if he brought the four dogs into the bustling crowds all at once. Takeo walked at a leisurely pace. Two of the dogs were much more excitable and active than the other two so they occasionally tugged on their leash in attempt to get farther faster. Meanwhile another, smaller dog walked at a nice easy-going pace as if the world should slow down for him. Takeo remembered this was an elderly womans dog. It was probably best that she had a relaxed and calm dog like this one.

Eventually, after about halfway through the walk Takeo stopped and sat on a nearby bench. The dogs quickly huddled around him, tongues hanging and tails wagging excitedly. Takeo was surprised that it seemed they already knew what he planned to do. He commanded them all to sit. It took a few tries for one or two of them but still, they quickly obeyed. Takeo smiled and brandished four treats from various pockets on himself. One by one they were fed their own special treat and ate them quite happily. They all looked up at Takeo with happy faces. Or at least what Takeo guessed what a dog would like when they were happy.

Takeo took the dogs home, one by one. Making sure to give them a quick clean with the two towels he had brought. Most of the dirt that they had acquired from the long walk was on their paws was easy enough to clean off as most of the dogs were quite compliant when Takeo attempted to clean them. After making sure all of them had been returned home safe and happy Takeo kept the two dirty towels to be washed later. Maybe I should get a dog...

Mission 2:

Takeo had to wake up early in the morning for his next mission. That mission being the replacement mail man for Konoha as the rest of the mail men and women had all gotten sick meaning they were quite desperate to get someone to fill in for them considering how much mail they were overrun with. Takeo had decided to take up the offer, despite not liking the tedious work given out to genin's he realised that it was an important job and only showed his usefulness to the village. In the end, for him, it was worth waking up earlier in the morning. Takeo went through his usual morning routine after waking up. Shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, brush teeth and then leave. It was a simple routine that he had stuck to for a while.

Unfortunately for Takeo the weather was not in his favour. Outside dark grey clouds had gathered and the wind was blowing throughout the village quite violently. Enough that Takeo would have to make sure he kept a tight grip on the mail in his hand when he took it out the mail bag. Not only that, but a light drizzle of rain had begun, leaving Takeo slightly gloomier than usual, but still he tried to keep up his cheery attitude as best he could and not let the weather affect his mood too much. Takeo quickly made his way to the post office and collected the bag of mail which was quite heavy due to the lack of other mailmen and women, resulting in Takeo having to carry a large amount of mail at once. Despite not being the strongest genin ever the weight wasn't enough to throw Takeo off of his task completely. It would only slow him down slightly.

Soon enough Takeo was back outside, mail now in hand. The rain still persisted however it remained as a light drizzle. If Takeo was lucky enough for the rain to not get any heavier then he wouldn't have to worry too much about soaked clothes and drenched hair. He hoped he'd even be lucky enough for it to stop altogether, but from the look of the dark clouds lingering in the sky he doubted that would happen. While it may have been more efficient for Takeo arrange the mail in his bag by order as the person working in the post office hadn't, maybe due to the sheer amount of mail there, he decided to simply pull out whatever piece of mail he grabbed and go to the address it was to be delivered to. The first was a large box shaped package which was to be delivered to, luckily enough, a house that was just a short walk way. It was close enough for the person to collect themselves but Takeo wasn't that lazy, plus he wouldn't want to force others out into the miserable weather. He put the package in the mailbox and continued on, grabbing more mail out of the bag, this time it was a simple, small envelope. Most likely a letter. Takeo wasn't so lucky this time though as the letter was to be delivered to the other side of Konoha, he sighed at the realisation of this but continued to his next location anyway.

The process continued for a while. Some deliveries were only a short walk away from where Takeo was, others, not so much. But in the end Takeo finished the task successfully having delivered the large amount of mail. It felt nice to walk back to the post office knowing he had succeeded. Plus the weight in the mail bag had lightened as time went on and it was now finally empty which made him all the more happier. Takeo handed the mail bag back to the man in the post office with a smile, despite being obviously fatigued and soaking wet from the weather. The  man thanked him profusely. It seemed a weight had been lifted of his shoulders thanks to Takeo's work. Making the young genin all the more happy as he made his way back home. I just hope I don't get sick from being drenched by the rain. he thought to himself as he made his way home, the weather finally beginning to clear up.
