Description: A very simple yet slightly complex technique that allows the user to change the color of externally visible chakra by altering the wavelength of the light given off by relevant techniques. This affects the color of all techniques that don’t use elemental chakra but still have visible chakra flow, such as the Samurai Saber or Mystical Palm techniques in Erwin’s case. However this technique does not alter the color of the users internal chakra, and those capable of seeing the internal chakra network through sensory or activated dojutsu wouldn’t even notice the color difference. It is purely an aesthetic change of color that can be used for personal preference or psychological warfare. The user isn’t required to sustain the technique and only pays once to change the wavelength of light and once more every time they wish to change it again.
Weakness: Apart from visual aesthetics this doesn’t really do anything, unless someone is deathly scared of a specific color for some reason.

Description: With this technique, users replace their own body with some other object, generally with a block of wood, the moment an attack lands. It's a basic technique, but depending on one's ingenuity, it can be used effectively. The clones may not dissipate when they come into contact with something. These clones can be easily distinguished by persons with dōjutsu. A person with normal eyes can also distinguish the clones from the original, since the clones do not have shadows and will not disrupt the area around themselves with their movement (i.e. won't kick up dust, crush grass, etc.).

Description: Given all the missions ninja are assigned to - battle, intelligence gathering, diversions - this is a priceless ninjutsu. It is typically used to change into people other than oneself, but one also has the ability to change into animals, plants, and even inanimate objects like weapons. This gives this technique an abundance of uses. The transformation of a skilled shinobi will be exactly like the genuine article, so it will be impossible to tell the two apart. On the other hand, a transformation performed by an inexperienced person will have obvious discrepancies. It will be impossible to deceive anyone with it. This is one of the most basic ninjutsu, as such most shinobi know how to perform it. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts mental strain on an inexperienced ninja. Thus the best way to determine if it is indeed a transformation is to cause this strain upon the user; though this is of course not always successful.

Description: Tree Climbing Practice is a training method used to gain more skills with chakra control. This training involves focusing a fixed amount of chakra to the bottom of one's feet, and using that to climb a tree without using one's hands. If it is too strong, the user will be pushed away from the tree, causing the tree to break around the point of contact and the user will fall.

The chosen memory can even be transferred on contact as long as you are physically touching the target(s) or they are touching you, which is an easy way to share the details of a past event or cripple an opponent with a brief sensation of your past pain. Description: The term Iaidō (居合道) refers to a specific style of kenjutsu that is concerned with the smooth, controlled movements of drawing the sword from its scabbard, striking or cutting an opponent, removing blood from the blade, and then replacing the sword in the scabbard. The linear motion and force applied to draw the sword from the scabbard results in slashes that are faster and stronger than ones executed with the sword already drawn.
The speed at which these techniques can be executed — the initial strike in particular — is such, that when performed by a skilled user, it can prevent enemy shinobi from forming hand seals (and thus ninjutsu), by exploiting the small opening that these movements create. This makes them highly effective against most shinobi. this is only effective against shinobi within reach of your speed or lower.

Description: Adhering to the principles of Iaidō, the user performs a quick and powerful slash with their sword in order to cut the intended target while moving, before immediately resheathing the blade afterwards. When used by Mifune, the technique was strong enough to cleanly slice open the large head of Hanzō's salamander, Ibuse, before being used again moments later to take down Hanzō. Like normal Iaidō, this technique can also be used to interrupt hand seals. If used for that purpose it can interrupt hand seals done at speed no greater then 1 rank above the users weapon speed that are done within the attack's range of 10 meters. This means that if hand seals are done within 10m of the user and the opponent isn't over 1 rank higher in hand seal speed then the user is in weapon speed the user can close the distance and interrupt the hand seals with this technique before the seals are completed.

Description: Unique to Samurai, Through the use of chakra flow, the user channels their chakra through their swords, extending both the reach and cutting ability of the blade, while allowing the user to fire crescents of chakra whenever the blade is swung. This released chakra is capable of great destruction, being to able to cleave stone and still continuing upon their path
The samurai also have the ability to use shape transformation during the implementation of this technique, sculpting their respective chakra blades into various rudimentary weapons that extend beyond the natural dimensions of their original swords; such as broadswords, spiked shafts and even axes. This capability allows them to rely on smaller swords reminiscent of wakizashi, while attaining greater reach, damage and the possibility of conducting surprise attacks as necessary.
This transformational quality also extends to even the crescents of chakra launched from the blade, forming a diverse range of projectiles that includes giant buzz-saws and shafts of chakra, the shape of which are seemingly dependent on the structure of the previously formed weapon.

Description: The One Man Unit Technique, or O.M.U.T. for short, is essentially the Samurai Sabre Technique on steroids and is known only by some of the most skilled officers in the Land of Iron. Utilizing the same principle of cyclical chakra flow the caster is able to generate extra arms made of pure chakra from anywhere on their torso, although these arms have no bones and aren't restricted in movement like standard arms, similar to tentacles just with hands on the end. These arms are the same size as the users arms, extend from the user at the same speed of one of their own punches, and are under complete control of the user. How the user utilizes these arms varies from person to person, some use them to surprise an opponent with a sudden punch or stab from the abdomen, others use them to gain a near 360 degree form of defense/offense, but nearly all samurai use them to wield multiple weapons in the face of numerous enemies. The O.M.U.T. allows the user to generate up to four additional arms, which all have the same strength as the user as well as the capability to use the Samurai Sabre Technique (excluding the bursts), although they cannot use any ranged chakra flow techniques. Defensibly these arms are just as vulnerable as normal arms to cutting/tearing attacks but have no bones to break for blunt attacks, they're also partially damaged by D-Rank ninjutsu and completely destroyed by anything C-Rank and above.
Weakness: Requires the Samurai Sabre Technique. Requires previously provided weapons in order to use the S.S.T., cannot make pure chakra weapons. Requires an extreme amount of concentration, especially for multiple extra arms, otherwise self harm is almost assured while wielding weapons with them. While this technique does utilize cyclical chakra flow to conserve energy it still requires the user to pay an E-Rank upkeep for the first arm and a D-Rank upkeep for every additional arm, as well as an additional D-Rank to repair or C-Rank to regrow.

Description: As the name suggests, this technique is simply a very quiet method of killing an opponent, usually from behind with a blade. Additionally, because the user moves silently, it cannot be defended against, because the attack cannot be anticipated. The user will often slit their opponent's throat, preventing any cry that might give them away. The Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist are shown to be masters of this technique, and were even good enough to track and kill opponents through sound alone. Some shinobi also opt to use a cover such as mist or even frost to rob their opponents of their field of vision and then attack them.

Description: The Soul Saber technique is based off of the Samurai Saber technique only with Erwin’s trademark “chakra that only affects chakra” from his Soul: Sever and Soul: Terminate techniques. Just like the Samurai Saber technique Soul Saber allows the user to generate a near infinite different styles of weaponry simply through shape transformation, although that’s where the similarities end. Soul Saber is fainter and far more transparent than its parent technique and causes no physical damage whatsoever, instead it temporarily rearranges the flow of chakra where it passes through the body, how this affects the target depends on the relation of the attacks location to the targets chakra pool within their chakra pathway system. It also passes through most physical object unhindered like the Soul: Sever/Terminate series. For example: If Erwin were to cut through a targets arm with this technique that target wouldn’t be able to move chakra into that arm for two posts, preventing them from forming hand seals (other than one handed seals) and thusly using any technique that requires hand seals or chakra flow from that arm for the duration. If he were to cut one or both legs they wouldn’t be able to use water walking or tree climbing techs with one or both legs. If he were to sever the head they wouldn’t be able to use Dojutsu or any techniques that require active mental control over the tech, such as genjutsu or ninjutsu that need the caster to control it, but “fire and forget” techs would still work. As a side effect this also removes any genjutsu currently affecting the target, but the consequences typically outweigh the benefits of doing this to an ally. Now if he were to hit a “bullseye” so to speak by directly hitting the target’s chakra pool, located at abdomen level, it would deal damage to the targets chakra pool equal to an A-Rank attack without rank or buki reductions (80cp), as well as forcing an entire system restart and making it more difficult to focus chakra for the duration. What this means is that any currently sustained techniques would be deactivated and and techniques used within the effect duration do not benefit from rank or mastery reductions.
Neutralize: Just like its parent technique Soul Saber has a “burst” effect as well, however its burst effect behaves significantly different than Samurai Saber’s. Instead of firing off devastating crescents of energy Soul Saber injects “anti-chakra” designed specifically to neutralize the standard chakra used in most jutsu, fusing with and dissipating all chakra within the targeted technique through controlled chakra flow destabilization and deconstruction. These “injection bursts” require the targeted technique to be in contact with Soul Saber’s chakra and the user must pay an equivalent rank of chakra to use them. (Neutralize C-Rank pay C-Rank, etc.) If the targeted technique is made completely out of chakra it would appear that the technique is being eaten away by faint blue chakra, this neutralization travels at the taijutsu equivalent of the users bukijutsu rank. If it’s a technique that takes control of the natural surroundings then this neutralization would “eat away” the chakra within the technique at the same speed but it would only appear like the opposing user simply lost control of the technique and it fell apart. It is also capable of neutralizing the chakra within fuuinjutsu seals, leaving the seal behind but rendering it inert. If used on an explosive technique before it actually explodes (IE: Great Fireball tech impact explosion or explosive seal) then it prevents the explosion from happening, but it cannot stop the force of the explosion after the fact just like the momentum from some earth/water techs already in motion.
Weakness:Requires Samurai Saber Technique, Bukijutsu Master, and Medical Basic for knowledge of the pathway system. Deals no physical damage whatsoever. Chakra coating can be blocked by chakra based attack/defense of equal or higher rank no matter the type or element (An equal or higher rank clone could even stop it). Burst ability cannot affect people directly and only affects jutsu with external usage of chakra (majority of ninjutsu, barriers, Buki/Tai chakra flow techniques), it cannot affect genjutsu or self supplementary techniques (sensory, some medical, purely physical Buki/Tai techs, etc.) and also has difficulty with widespread techniques that attack on multiple separate fronts where the user must hit each separate part of the technique individually.

Description: The ultimate version of Erwin’s Soul: Sever technique series, Soul: Terminate transcends its predecessor’s weakness of being unable to cause physical damage by overloading all tenketsu along the path of the crescent's “cut”, dealing internal damage relevant to the location of the cut similar to the Hyuuga Clan’s gentle fist techniques. Instead of briefly redirecting the flow of chakra Soul: Terminate redirects the flow of chakra until the victim is able to receive medical attention, whether that be later in the thread or in a separate recovery thread, which can’t be self treated. As far as a “bullseye” is concerned this technique would deal 110 damage to the chakra pool of a C-Rank or below person/creature, deal A-Rank damage without rank or buki reductions to B-Rank and higher shinobi, as well as interrupt sustained techniques and remove any rank/mastery cost reductions for the duration like its predecessor. The crescent is 10m in length, 1 foot thick, and travels at the Tai equivalent to the users Bukijutsu rank.
Weakness: Deals no damage apart from the potential internal damage. Requires that the user have all 3 of the previous Soul: Sever techniques. Canceled out by another S-Rank technique. Cannot be trained or used if the user has an element. Requires Buki Mastery and Med Adept (Tenketsu Knowledge). Fuels techniques, items, etc. that absorb chakra. 7 post cd.

Description: A series of techniques designed by Erwin to target and affect the flow of chakra, nothing else. It follows the principle of the Samurai technique Flash where the user infuses their blade with chakra and sends a crescent of energy in the direction of a swing, only the crescent of energy created by this technique is thinner, fainter, and doesn’t affect the physical world. It is made of chakra that can only affected by chakra, or in other words it’s completely intangible to everything physical. Instead of cutting everything in general like Flash and other similar techniques this techniques is designed to temporarily rearrange the flow of chakra, how this affects the target depends on where this crescent passes through the body in relation to the targets chakra pool within their chakra pathway system. For example: If this crecent were to pass through a targets arm as if it severed it off that target wouldn’t be able to move chakra into that arm for two posts, preventing them from forming hand seals (other than one handed seals) and thusly using any technique that requires hand seals or chakra flow from that arm for the duration. If it were to sever one or both legs they wouldn’t be able to use water walking or tree climbing techs with one or both legs. If it were to sever the head they wouldn’t be able to use Dojutsu or any techniques that require active mental control over the tech, such as genjutsu or ninjutsu that need the caster to control it, but “fire and forget” techs would still work. As a side effect this also removes any genjutsu currently affecting the target, but the consequences typically outweigh the benefits of doing this to an ally. Now if this crecent were to hit a “bullseye” so to speak by directly hitting the target’s chakra pool, located at abdomen level, it would deal damage to the targets chakra pool equal to the base cost of the attack without rank or buki reductions, as well as forcing an entire system restart and making it more difficult to focus chakra for the duration. What this means is that any currently sustained techniques would be deactivated and and techniques used within the effect duration do not benefit from rank or mastery reductions. C-Rank crescent is 3m long and 1 inch thick; B-Rank is 5m long and 3 inches thick; A-Rank is 7m long and 6 inches thick; and their travel speed is the Taijutsu equivalent to the users Bukijutsu rank.

Cancels out/detonates early chakra based techniques of same rank while being canceled out as well. Literally feeds any technique, person, or item that can absorb chakra. Requires medical knowledge of basic rank, specifically knowledge of the chakra pathway system. Requires Bukijutsu Basic for C-Rank, Adept for rest. C-Rank has a 1 post cd, B-Rank has a 2 post cd, and A-Rank has a 4 post cd. Due to it’s advanced raw chakra nature it cannot be learned by someone who has already gained an element and gaining an element afterwards prevents them from learning/performing anything other than the C-Rank version of this attack. Each individual rank must be bought/trained individually and in order of lowest to highest. ((Put them in one single tech so you wouldn’t have to read the entire thing 3 times.))
