training:

The thunder grounds were eerily quiet in the early morning hours of the twilight. The ground was still covered with dew, and the sky was littered with dark clouds, yet none had given the warning sign of any lightning strikes. Akki had came to the area to train a couple of things that he had come up with, techniques that worked with each other. The ground was littered with scars from previous training sessions, and yet there were dummies and stumps still standing. Akki looked at the dummy the most still intact, and decided to use that one. Akki walked up to the dummy, poking its arm, causing it to slowly spin. It was good, a rotating dummy that symbolized actual combat. Akki took a single step back, checking all the parts of the dummy before attacking.

Akki took a stance, one that he had studied for quite some time. Quickly, Akki dashed forward towards the dummy, coming in for a low sweeping kick. He would hit the botton of the dummy, causing it to spin, a pole swinging around to hit him. Akki spun up on one hand, twisting on it as his feet came up and did a sort of spinning kick to the dummy's upper half, kicking it twice before it could complete another full rotation. Akki did a small somersault backwards, avoiding the spinning poles as they swung towards him. In mid sault, he threw his hands up, causing darkness to raise up and slam into the dummy. The dummy started spinning madly in multiple directions as the darkness swirled around it, then receded.

Akki ran forward again, the darkness moving out of his way, separating like moses parting the red sea. It then followed Akki, as he came up and started using his hands and forearms to block the poles as they swung at him, knocking them back. With a slight opening that Akki took to his advantage he jumped up and kicked the dummy with both of his feet, pushing himself away while thrusting his arms towards his feet, the darkness coming up and swarming the dummy. Darkness had multiple capabilities, such as crushing as well as slicing, what ever Akki could imagine. Right now he was just using it as a blunt object to train his purpose.

Akki landed back on his feet, the darkness pooling around him, writhing like a living creature. Without any command the darkness wouldnt remain motionless. It seemed to hunger for combat. Akki withdrew his darkness, feeling confident in his final training of his fighting style. He looked at the sky, the clouds seeming to roll together now. It may start raining all sorts of hell soon, and Akki wanted to finish what he was doing. There was one other thing he had to train, but he didnt think the dummy would be good enough for him to train with, though he may have had to use what he had to work with.

Garuda would be sitting out side of his home, located on the Island Turtle, his head turned up to the sky. The man had his eyes covered with bandages but he had a smile on his face, he couldn't see obviously but to him he felt everything was much more clearer. The reasoning behind him sitting there was that he was waiting for someone to arrive as he would be leaving the village today and well couldn't gather the supplies since he was blind, and also because he didn't want to."What is taking her so long?" Garuda would ask himself as he stood up, his pet Owl Nana sitting on his shoulder. Garuda would rub the back of his head and sigh, he wanted to head out soon before the village was crawling with people. And what he means by that is that everyone would begin to wake up and do their daily things, and Garuda's face would be recognized. As he was the former Raikage not that long ago.

"Sorry I am late Garuda-sama! Let us go!" Shana would say as she ran over to him, carrying a larger bag and holding another one. She would give the other one to Garuda and then lead him off of the Island Turtle that was their home. The place theses two friends trained and got to know each other more and more, after leaving their old home Iwagakure behind to come to Kumogakure. Their relationship was quiet complicated as they were not lovers but extremely close; knowing everything about each other and have experienced many things together, but there were a few things they didn't talk about. So as she lead him from the Island Turtle they would begin to make small talk, mostly about things they used to do while Garuda was Raikage. And also about what they were going to be doing in the Land of Snow, and why they had to go. Shana was the one asking why they had to go as Garuda was blind and still a bit sick; and she cared more about his heath then them having to conquer and expand this country. She also didn't even understand why Garuda was still doing things as a Shinobi, as she thought he would retire after removing his eyes. During this conversation Garuda would say he would retire after the invasion, and this caused her say something she always wanted to say." Garuda-sama....please be telling me the truth. I don't want you to lie to me just so I can feel better. I will understand if you can't turn away from the life of a Shinobi......especially due to the promise you made that Syndra women. GARUDA YOU KNOW I LOVE YOU AND ALL I WANT IS FO-" Garuda would stop and this would cause Shana to stop speaking.

"Let us save this for another time Shana...please for another time." Garuda would tell her as he would then resume walking, Shana resuming also to lead the way. Nana, the pet Owl, would shake her head at Garuda's response. The bird hated when her master would avoid talking to Shana about certain things. Finally the three had made it of of the Island Turtle but were at a dilemma, as they had two ways of getting to the village gates. Shana knew of a way to get to the Village gates through the Thunder grounds but knew that at least a few people would be there, and didn't want to take Garuda by them. She knew that because she and Garuda and a few others trained there a lot. Or she could take him straight through the village, which she didn't want to do for some reason. So Shana would pick to lead Garuda through the Training grounds as it still may be too early for someone to be there, and if there were someone there they might be able to just quick go past them. But when they got to the Thunder grounds both Shana and Garuda would stop, this being because Shana would see something extremely interesting and Garuda for some reason would sense something he shouldn't just avoid. "Shana describe everything you see to me." Garuda would tell her. She would do as she was told and tell Garuda everything she watched, this being Akki when he first started attack the dummy.

"What an amazing child he is, right Shana?" Garuda would ask Shana after she told him the boy stopped attacking the dummy. "Yea he is. I have never seen such a technique...and he seems to have great potential." She would respond. The two of them wanted more, so one of them would say something. Garuda being that one."Child!" He would call out to the boy, a smile on this blind mans face. "I must ask this. May you please show me more of what you can do? No need to hold back as neither of us will get hurt..as this will just be a quick spar between us." Garuda would say as he began to walk forward, his hands in his pocket. He was able to walk forward without tripping over anything because his pet Owl, Nana, was acting as a eye seeing dog for him. Which she would also do if the boy would agree to the little spar, even though Garuda didn't really need her to. He was blind but that didn't mean the Uchiha's abilities were greatly hindered, he could still battle with the best of them and come out on top. Uchiha Garuda, is he wanted, could be feared as a man of great power and skill that only could be destroyed by only those who's power surpassed him. And also he had someone that would fight to the death before could draw his blood, that person being the deadly Shana. So why was it that theses two people had stopped and one of them wanted to train with some boy, was it out of pure curiosity of the boy's skill? Or was it that they wanted to do something before they left the village?

Akki had just prepped himself to try out a new idea he had thought of when he heard someone call out. Akki looked over to where the voice was coming from and saw a woman, a man, and an owl on the an's shoulder. Closer examination revealed the trio had an assortment of luggage, which had to mean the troupe was either leaving the village or going to do some laundry because their machine broke. Over head the clouds seemed to continue to thicken, and Akki preferred not to be struck by lightning, but he also thought it would add a surprisingly exciting element to his training. Then the man continued to talk, starting to walk towards Akki as he did so. The owl sat on the man's shoulder like a parrot on a pirate, and as the man got closer he noticed that his eyes were also covered. Akki thought the man was either blind, or something was done to his eyes and they had to be covered for some reason.

Do it, fight a blind man. Rip out his heart, eat it, then go rape the woman.

I'm not too sure about that...look closer, if you didnt realize it sooner i believe this man was our former raikage.

Akki waited a moment before responding, doing a once over of the man's figure, confirming his suspicions as he remembered the pictures of the old Kage. Even if he was blind Akki knew the man was a forced to be reckoned with. Yet, he knew not of Akki, and it seemed he wanted to know more now that he saw what the genin could do. Akki licked his lips, his pointed tongue slowly moistening them as it slid over his skin. Akki now fully turned to the man, standing upright, and made a slight bow. He wanted to test his theory a bit, and needed to make sure he was able to get away if necessary before the man got too close and seemed to have an ill intent.

"Yes, i will spar with you Kage-sama. Are there any stipulations that i must abide to? No, of course not what a silly thing of me to ask. Youre one of the most powerful shinobi in kumo, im sure your...bandages wont hinder you in any way."

This comment was not only an agreement that Akki wouldnt hold back, but also a statement saying he recognized who the man was. There was no turning back on this man, there was no deciding to end shortly. This was actually the perfect opportunity for Akki to practice many of his jutsu, and Akki was going to use this opportunity to its full extent. Akki wouldnt wait for a response, as once he finished he would dart forward, keeping his arms ready as he lowered his stance in the middle of his run, and performed a small string of hand seals. Once Akki had reached the man he would bend down slightly, extending one arm, a closed fist on the end of it, and spin around backwards, aiming to hit the man's torso. Akki had used the moment in his run to propel himself onto one foot, increasing the speed of the spin. Two things could possibly happen from here...

The first thing that was most likely would be the man would dodge. Akki had kept this possibility in mind, and would use the momentum still in his body to complete another spin, this time using his leg to kick at the man's leg, aiming for knock him off of his balance. From here Akki would finish with a third spin, coming into an uppercut. Normally a regular hand to hand spar would end the momentum here and would cause one to start into another combo, but the one thing Akki was training was the one thing he was going to use to extend his combo. Just as Akki came up with his fist, aiming to jab at the man's jaw, another version of him would appear from himself. The other version was physically a copy with all of his features, except the color. The color of the creation was the same color of his darkness, pitch black with an inner purple hue that seemed to peer into a void of nothingess. This momentary attack, whether it connected or not, would disperse rather quickly, but as it did Akki would already be in motion. He would be coming through the creation, aiming to punch the man in the chest.

The second most likely thing to happen would be the man would block, stopping Akki's strike in mid swing. Yet this wouldnt stop Akki, as he would use the momentum still in his body to thrust his shoulder forward, aiming it at the man's core. This was mainly used to knock the man off of his balance, allowing for a follow up strike, but this also wasnt the end of the attack. Akki would create his other self, the one from the other possibility, as it would copy Akki's movement and stance, projecting from himself and aiming to thrust its shoulder into the man's torso. Now the fun part about this is if Akki's shoulder hit, slightly knocking the man off of his balance, his copies shoulder would surely connect, creating even more of a double hit. If Akki's shoulder didnt connect, due to the man either pushing Akki away or doing some sort of action to stop Akki's, his copy would still extend, most likely catching the man off guard and hitting him, knocking him off of his balance. This would give Akki an opening to follow up with another combo.

These things were those most likely to happen, but Akki knew there were other possibilities, and before his strike would encounter these, he had left room for marginal error and gave himself room for defense or escape if need be. Akki wanted to impress the man, seeing him in such a high stature and with great strength. Another thing that would be intriguing to see was how the owl would react to the combat, and Akki wondered if it would stay connected to the man's shoulder or if it would fly above in the darkening sky, watching from a safe view. That was another thing that could make combat in this area more dangerous, as now the clouds had turned to a deep grey, almost black, and Akki was sure it would start striking down its electrical fury. The only thing Akki could do now was to see what events would follow his attack.

"Garuda-sama, go easy on him...." Shana would say as she would sit down on the ground to watch the fight, the bag she was carrying next to her. She would yawn a bit for some reason as she didn't get much sleep earlier, but that didn't mean she wasn't excited to see Garuda train. Since she is usually training with him or taking care of things if Garuda if sparring with someone, this will be her first time really seeing what Garuda could do well holding back. And also how good he would be while blind, as he had only be blind for about a few days now, or how ever long it may have been. During the time the boy was telling Garuda he would spar, the man would take of the bag he had on and toss it to the side. Cracking his neck and stretch while the boy continued to talk, and when it was over just stood their and waited for the attack.  He was going to be on the defense during this spar as it would be foolish for him to go on the offense, even though he easily could. "Move for a second Nana..." Garuda would say as he would put his hands back in his pocket, the bird listening would fly over to Shana and sit on her shoulder.

Despite being blind Garuda had at least a basic understating of sensory and when the boy got in range would be able to sense his presences, but without his eyes would not be able to know of the incoming doppelganger. So what will happen is Garuda would be pull his right hand out and grab the boy's fist as it was about to land; being one of those in this world who have brought their body to their peak or to perfect in their physical abilities which he likes to call it. Immediately after having the fist within his grasp would apply amazing pressure to the child, most likely  breaking it if nothing was done. And then toss the boy to the side, though if the boy continued to try his attack the doppelganger's would land though. And even the boy's other attacks, his combo, could land if he had enough will power to continue his combo his hand was grabbed and broken, blah blah blah. What Garuda would do after the hurting the child's hand depend on what the boy would do. "Eh, my bad. Are you hurt? Did i break something? Are you able to continue?"  Was what Garuda would ask if breaking the bones hand was successful, as he kinda was concerned but not about the boy's health. But by having to make his tool, Shana, have to do work to heal the boy if it was needed. As he wanted her, as he did himself, to be well rested and also conserving their power for their mission. And he didn't mean tool in a bad way or really controlling one, as all shinobi in this world were such.

Akki reached forward only to have his hand grabbed by the man, in a clasp that immediately felt that it was a horrible decision to get in close to the man. Akki started moving in with his shoulder thrust, ramming into the man's stomach as the man squeezed his hand, breaking his fingers. Akki yelled as his doppleganger attack reached out right before Akki was thrown to the side. The doppleganger would ram into the man, again hitting his stomach. Akki would be thrown to the ground, tumbling head over heels on the ground, rolling away from the man. Akki gathered dust and dirt all over his body from the roll, becoming covered in the dirt. Akki stopped in a sitting position, holding his hand as he winced with pain, then smiled at the same time. He seemed to enjoy the pain, reveling in the feeling of it.

Akki looked around, looking for something he could use to defend himself. That was when he noticed a decent sized rock on the ground, remembering one more jutsu he wanted to try out. Akki bit his thumb, swiping his blood on the rock before picking it up. The blood seemed to bubble on the rock before seeping into it. Once the blood seeped into the rock the rock itself changed colors into the color of darkness, and started to change into a different shape. The rock turned into something that resembled a mace, covered in spikes that seemed to protrude into the darkness itself. Akki held the rock in his hand in a way that wouldnt hurt himself. Akki stood up, looking at the man with the rock in his good hand. Akki reared his arm back and threw the rock at the man, aiming for this head. This was more out of anger than it was training for the man breaking his fingers.

After the rock left his hand Akki would fall back to the ground, landing on his butt as he would grab his hand, being in a mix of pleasure and pain. Akki rocked back and forth, as it seemed to help soothe him. He looked at the sky as it had grown increasingly darker, the clouds now emitting a light rumble. There wasnt much else to do, so Akki sighed, then inhaled and looked at the man. He was sure the morphed rock wouldnt do much of anything, if it did anything at all. Akki put his hands in his lap, and shook his head.

"Im done old man, i cant keep going with broken fingers. Im going to have to go the the hospital now and get some splints or something, but i appreciate the spar. It was fun."

Akki stood up, slowly getting to his feet as he caressed his hurt body part, not wanting to touch them against anything as to cause more pain. One could only endure so much even if one enjoyed it.

It seems the boy was pretty nice as he was able to still get off two hits after having his hand broken, and this started to get Garuda's blood pumping. As this boy was truly showing he could do something. Garuda would slowly get a twisted smile on his face as he began to walk toward the boy, slowly, his hands shaking with eagerness. "Yes! Let me show you something before I leave!" Garuda would declare, this being at the same time the object was thrown at him. If the object hit Garuda planned to just shrug it off, but that wouldn't be able to happen. As it would seen to be cut in half and the piece fly passed Garuda. And a crouched Shana, with her blade drawn, would be in front of Garuda stopping him from advancing. She stop his advance from her tip of her blade being against his chest, right above his heart. "The boy is right..old man." She would chuckle a bit at calling Garuda an old man. "You weren't supposed to injure the boy and now he has to get his hand fix..so please go over to the bags and let me take care of this. We need to leave in a bit anyway if we are to make it to our destination on time." She would say as she stood up and put her sword away.  Garuda understood and his smile would fade as he walked over to the bags, Nana leading him to them.

"Give me your hand." She would say as she reached out and grabbed the child hand and began to heal it, while she healed the boy's broken head with her Mystical Palm Technique. "You are lucky. He was going to do something we all wouldn't want..." She would say after finishing healing his hand. He would then sigh and look over to Garuda, who was sitting on the ground Indian style mediating. That was all he could do as Shana was healing the boy, what he was doing was working on the chakra flow in his body.  Shana would place her hand on the boy's shoulder and look him in the eyes, "Don't spar with Garuda-sama ever again unless you are willing to die. He is an extremely dangerous man." She would tell him with an serious expression on her face, and low enough so Garuda couldn't hear her. She would then turn away and walk over to Garuda, "Come on Garuda-sama! Lets go!" She didn't wait for the boy to respond or anything as she was just giving him a warning.

The meaning behind Shana's words was from what she sensed and saw from Garuda in that little spar he just participated in. She felt that Garuda planned on doing something extremely horrible to the child. And she didn't understand that at all, cause Garuda no longer had his eyes. As that was what she felt, and also Garuda, was the cause of him wanting to just kill someone he felt was strong. 'It must be something else....or....that is just who Garuda is...' She would think to herself as the two started to walk to the village gates. Nana flying above them doing unnecessary things such as doing loops and flying backwards. Shana had an concerned look on her face as she looked up at Garuda. While Garuda himself had a small smile on his face as he walked, as if he hadn't just had the small intent to do something horrible.

Akki had watched as his projectile had been sliced in half and now the woman was standing there. Akki was confused as she had a small spat with the man. Akki was about to make a retort when she came over and grabbed his hand, causing him to wince in pain. She started healing his hand, his bones moving back in place. It felt weird, feeling his digits become whole again. She made a small comment to Akki, about not sparing with the man again. Akki was still confused, but listened to her. Finally she got up and left with the man. Akki rubbed his hand, the pain gone and his fingers moving easily. Akki sighed as he heard thunder. It was time to get moving. Akki turned towards the village and headed home.
