Hi [Training/Invite]

Ryu couldn't decide if he should be happy or not. Zanji was officially dead, allowing Otogakure to move forward. But before he died...his last order was to demote Ryu..it was like the universe was trying to spite him. The reasons were unknown, but as the Kage commanded absolute power, unfortunately he didn't need a reason. It was a horrible situation, but somehow, Ryu believed he would be able to persevere through all the pain that he was experiencing. Currently, he was at the training fields during the afternoon practicing jutsu. First, he would practice some Fuinjutsu that he made up recently. Basically, he wanted to be able to use a more sneakier apprpach in battles. After all, he was a ninja but he didn't really have assassination techniques. So, he decided to make one. It was pretty simple, and would probably be classified as a D-rank. But just because it was simple didn't mean it wasn't an incredibly efficient technique. Withdrawing a kunai from his holster, his aim was a nearby training dummy.

With one fluid and swift motion, the Chuunin threw his kunai and grinned when no noise was produced, striking the dummy right in the middle of its head. Ryu had a feeling he had changed the entire game with the discovery of this new technique. Now, before he moved on to other jutsu, he needed to figure out a name for it.

Scratching his head and searching his mind for a name, he thought of some "cool" names.

"Genesis Strikes? Extreme Slashes? Hm.."

"Well, the noises produced from the attacks are silenced...and, they're strikes. So I guess I can call them...SILENT STRIKES!"

Satisfied with this name, he decided that he would train a few more jutsu..but before he would do that, he needed to read a passage from the Book of Jiae...just a few days ago, when he was about to commit suicide due to nothing in his life going well, he heard the voice of the God Jiae speaking to him. His voice was firm, but friendly, telling Ryu not to waste the enormous amount of potential he had and that he was the savior, descended from the holy lands to spread the word of Jiae across the mortal realms. Over the past few days while he was making jutsu in the training fields, Ryu created a book which told all about the creation of the universe, the practices of the Divines, those who worship Jiae. Once he was finishe with reading a few passages from the book, he would resume his training.

Once again Oboro woke to a stressful day. With Hobbes resting on his Otogakure Kage hat, his neck was bent over in pain as he looked down at his paperwork that he was forced to fill out due to the laziness of Zanji Uzumaki, the former Daimyo of the land of sound. With his body still in the home of Oboro, hidden, he counted down the days until a certain someone would take it off of his hands for a certain something. Other than all the extraneous work, everything was going perfectly. He had an amazing dream the night before. It was him, Akira and Hobbes, resting on the beaches of Sunagakure. The sun met the horizon as the day was beginning and she lay in his arms. With eyes closed, everything was simply blissful as the clouds allowed shade for just the two. This simple fantasy was what drove him to push on with his work each and every day. He was content with his efforts to better the village. On top of that, he had a gorgeous girl as well as a terrific little tiger. He just needed a bit of training time to squeeze in and everything would be just dandy. And so, he made his way down to the training field to get a little practice in. As Otokage, he couldn't allow himself to slip over time.

He was dressed in something leisure, his puffy shirt and pants. Though today he wore his black and yellow tunic to support the summers eve. Everything seemed absolutely beautiful around him. The ground was as gravelly as ever and the air was thick with the scent of petrichor as it had just rained the night before. He absolutely loved that smell. As the ground sank a bit with each step he took, he stroked the tiger in his hands as he watched the people around him train. His only issue now was to decide what to train exactly. On top of that, he wished to train with someone. And that's when he saw him once more. The boy he had met here before was throwing projectiles, though he heard no noise as they traveled in the air, only upon hitting the target did they make a thudding sound. Impressive indeed. This was exactly what he expected out of the ninja in the village. In reality, he hoped each and every one would be able to use innovative techniques in order to better serve themselves as well as impress people from other villages. "Ryu! You're here again? What a coincidence!" It was odd that he always saw this boy here while training. If he remembered correctly, just before his 'passing', Zanji denoted this boy though there was no evident reason to do so. He would have to take a look at the boys file once more upon arriving back at the administration building. However, he would approach the boy once more and make him the same offer he had made before. "Would you like to train together? I have so much I need to get done.

Fuinjutsu was an extremely versatile art, and it was a shame that more people didn't know it. He was pretty  the only person with a grasp of Fuinjutsu besides one or two others. This next jutsu that he was using was made because Ryu was a bit frivolous with his money. It was named the Exploding Seal simply because it was a seal that exploded. As he began to focus chakra in his index and middle finger, he was interrupted by a familar voice. As Ryu turned his attention to the voice, he realized that this was the same person he sparred a  time ago. The fight had ended in a draw due to rain..

"Another spar? I suppose we are due for another one because of the unfortunate weather that occurred during our last spar.."

The combatants were about five meters from each other, allowing the chance for intense close combat tactics and some mid range strategies as well, something that Ryu excelled at.

I will spill his blood and offer it to Jiae, our lord and savior...

With his weaker, less dominant hand Ryu threw about three shuriken at the same time, all in a straight line. Due to the way it was thrown, Ryu's opponent would only see one of them, each of the aimed at his nose. It was a weird target, but that wasn't the actual attack, because as soon as he threw the shuriken, Ryu had already leapt back and began to perform a pentagon seal with the same hand that threw the shuriken, performing the seal in less then a second. Jiae would punish this heathen from straying from the path.. a mass of chakra appeared about an inch from Ryu, burrowing into the ground at Master Speed. If he was unfortunate enough to get hit by this move, then his movements would be binded for as long as Ryu pleased, and he would win the spar. This man didn't seem to display any skill in the art of Fuinjutsu..

Through all of this, his stronger hand was free, allowing him to parry any attempts to fight him. He knew that he outclassed him in strength. Knowing that due to the speed of the shuriken, his opponent would most likely dodge them. That's why ninja wire was attached to the shuriken, so thin that you wouldn't be able to see them with basic human vision. In case his bind would fail him, he would alter the trajectory of the shuriken, the wire wrapping around Oboro and binding him down.

Description: After forming a Pentagon in the air, a mass of chakra goes underneath the ground, homing in on the opponent. Once underneath the opponent, the orb of chakra turns into a hand that can extend up to ten meters, binding its opponent. It moves at the same level of Mastery as Ryu's Fuinjutsu(Mastery).However, this isn't a normal bind. Brute strength cannot get out of this bind, since the hand is actually a seal that seals the opponents movements.
Weakness: Requires the same level of Fuinjutsu mastery as Ryu or higher to break out of, and the Unsealing technique. If you're capable of seeing the chakra move underground, you can move out of the way before it gets you.

Knowing a battle was soon to happen, Hobbes jumped from the shoulder of Oboro and stood out of the way of the battle. He knew that he wasn't strong enough to take on most enemies with the Otokage and wasn't going to try with his current rank. After doing enough missions, the striped feline would try to carry his weight. Until then, he made sure to stay out of his way like a good little kitty.

Ryu seemed to be awfully cocky for someone who was just demoted. After giving possibly the shortest opening speech that he could possibly come up with for a battle, the ninja before him reached for his ninja pouch to pull out what seemed to be a tool. Likely a projectile. However, before his hand had even touched the pocket, Oboro's sharingan had already activated reflexively, allowing him to act upon pure plot rather than relying on instinct. Before Ryu even pulled out the ninja tools required to mame Oboro, most likely a distraction due to his advanced reflexes, Oboro formed four hand seals for his Lightning Flash release pillar. He did the math in his head. If it traveled at the speed of light and they were merely fifteen meters away, the light would hit his eyes instantly, distracting him from the likes of even aiming his projectiles. The bright light induced opponents to immediately fall under yet another Genjutsu. And this one was a favorite of Oboro's. The Bringer of Darkness Genjutsu basically blinded an opponent from their sense of sight. And it only required a single hand seal. How convenient this was for a ninja on the go. While rushing forward, he made the tiger seal as his opponent would already be trapped by the bright light. After being stunned, the enemy would now see nothing. It was the perfect attack.

The reason Oboro loved this attack so much is because it took one of the two most vital senses away from a shinobi. A shinobi absolutely needed sight just as they needed the ability to hear. In the near future, he would likely create a technique that destroys a ninjas sense of hearing, causing them to be utterly hopeless. Even if Ryu was able to close his eyes fast enough to block the light, he wouldn't be able to aim. And he surely wouldn't be able to see the Uchiha zoom up to him, stopping just in front of his face with eyes wide open,  waiting for the boy to open his own. Merely inches away, the Uchiha braced his right, dominant, hand for a blow to the chin of the Yamazaki should he not open his eyes. His left hand slid its way to his belt to reach for a kunai. This was his favorite part of the sharingan, the ability to devise hundreds of plans in a single second. Thus, he showed his true strengths as a tactician.

Oh , Suzako was so excited! He’d done it! He’d graduated from the Academy, and was now an official Shinobi of Otogakure! He had a big grin on his face as he walked though Otogakure. He was heading to the training ground to hopefully get some training done. He wanted to try and learn some higher level Jutsu to improve his fighting abilitiy, and he especially wanted to learn a Fire Style jutsu. Then he’d be truly recognized as an Adult of the Uchiha Clan, and they’d start including him more with the adults.

With his headband securely tied to his forehead, albeit a bit obscured by his hairline, Suzako made his way towards the training area. His Uchiha cloak was wrapped around him, his Katana strapped to his back and his ninja tools stored away nice and safely in their respective pouches.

Oh, today was going to be a good day for sure. Suzako could just feel it. He thought to the past. He remembered his father, whom had been a Chuunin of Otogakure and how he had died saving Suzako’s life. His dad had also explained to Suzako about his Uchiha blood, and what people would do to get it, hence why he had been abducted in the first place.

His thoughts darkened as he had remembered what happened. He became sad as he thought of his father, remembering how he had given his life for Suzako. He clenched his fist and cursed himself for not having been strong enough to save his father. If only had had unlocked the Sharingan… or maybe knew how to fight better or cast better Jutsu, he might’ve lived… if only… Suzako stopped walking. He frowned as he looked down at the ground, the sadness and sorrow of that day coming back all again. He couldn’t let it happen again. He couldn’t lose someone else he loved again. He had to become stronger. He was lucky to still even has his mother. He couldn’t afford to lose her. She had helped him through the mourning of his father and the weeks that followed. He had been allowed to be excused from the Academy for a while, and for good reason. Suzako had spent those weeks practicing his Ninjutsu. His Ninjutsu excelled during that time, putting him at the top of his class for that subject. He had even developed a certain aptitude for Genjutsu as well, though he currently didn’t know any real Genjutsu that would be useful in an actual fight. He looked back up, his eyes having turned red, a single tomoe showing within them. With new determination, Suzako moved from his still position into a run, jumping from building to building as he made his way to the training ground.

When Suzako arrived at the area, he noticed something unusual. Two people were standing and talking and one had been practicing his Jutsu. Suzako noticed the other one began weaving some hand signs and he looked away, ducking behind a tree. He didn’t want to be caught in a possible fight, especially between two Shinobi who might be sparring. Though, he hadn’t heard anything afterwards. He was about 20 meters to the Oboro’s left, and he peeked out from behind the tree he had been hiding behind, his red eyes scanning the two. Oboro was rushing at Ryu, and Suzako watched, curious as to what would happen next.

As soon as Ryu saw the first two handseals, he already had a plan to counter the handseals, or at least halt the momentum of the rest of his attacks and allow him to take some time to recover. With his extensive knowledge of elemental jutsu, he would know what jutsu combinations were possible by the time, he reached his second handseal and would simply form a counter attack of his own. With his weaker hand, he moved swiftly, forming a pentagon in the air. It was his binding jutsu, which would seal his movements and make him much less of a problem. It was possible because he was already making handseals before Ryu could even reach his weapon bag.

If it's those Ninjutsu, then dodging won't be a problem for me. And the Genjutsu, I'll just stab myself with my kunai. I know where my weapons are by heart!

The orb of chakra would go underground and home in towards Oboro. Like Ryu was thinking, it didn't matter if the bind didn't reach Oboro in time even though they were so close since he already had a plan to get out of the Genjutsu. Plus, the flash wouldn't stop him from performing his jutsu since the seal was incredibly simple to perform, so basic that he could do it with his eyes closed, literally. He couldn't run from Jiae's cleansing forever. Soon, Oboro would see the light. Assuming that Oboro had been binded and Ryu hadn't been caught in the Genjutsu, then he would have won, and began to walk off and get his bible, reading some passages to Oboro.

His opponent seemed to be catching on to whatever was happening to him. However, as expected, the light caught his eyes, trapping him in the bringer if darkness Genjutsu, taking away all hopes of seeing the light of day. However, ninja rule dictates that he was not allowed to strike an opponent under a Genjutsu. He could get in big trouble for something like that. So instead, while Ryu was aimlessly throwing out projectiles that were aimed for where Oboro had been originally, he was now to the side, crafting new hand seals and devising a way to attack his opponent without breaking ninja law.

He swiftly created the dog and boar hand signs, immediately creating a second Oboro onto the battlefield. The pentagon was completed by this time, however using his Sharingan, he was able to track its movements even from underground based on the movement of the dirt. It was an easy enough dodge, especially considering the fact that the targetting would be loose due to the fact that Ryu couldn't even see the Otokage. His clone would dodge in the opposite direction than he. Now with Oboro to the left, he related back toward his clone. His clone however, would form the seals for Bungee Gomu, shooting directly at Ryu. Of course the boy wouldn't see this coming, but should he miss (which wasn't likely) the clone would simply fire repeatedly until he did. And now that Oboro was behind the clone, he prepared.

Little did Ryu know, soon he would be entering the holy lands. Before Oboro could cast the clones, something hilarious would happen. Tripping from an untied lace on his shoe because of his lack of balance due to being blind, he would fall to the ground, right on the kunai that would fall out of his holster, stabbing him in the stomach and, his neck would break.

Suzako was curious as to what was going on as his red eyes scanned the movement the man was making. He also was able to follow the Chakra signature he could see in the ground that was mimicking the movement the man was making with his hand. Suzako was impressed with his Sharingan abilities, even if he had only scratched the surface of his Dojutsu. He could already see the increased clarity and how much easier it was to keep track of everything rather than when the Sharingan was off, but he could also feel the Chakra strain, even though it was quite small. He understood now why people didn’t keep the Sharingan active 24/7.

But then the Chunin ninja who had been fighting the Otokage fell over and somehow killed himself. Suzako blinked a few times. Was… was that real? Did he just legitimately see what he just saw? He didn’t think he was in a Genjutsu of some sort, so he walked out of the tree line where he was, staring at the body with an astonished look on his face. He looked over to the Otokage, who had moved closer to him.

“O… Otokage-sama… did… did that just really happen?”

Suzako spoke, too astonished to realize that the Otokage might be upset with him for watching the short spar uninvited.

With his lightning fast sharingan, he was quickly able to assess the situation as Ryu began to fall. The sun shone against the kunai as it was aimed straight for the stomach of the boy. The Otokage of course wouldn't allow such a tragedy to unfold right here in the middle of nowhere. Immediately, the clone would calculate Ryu's trajectory and hit him with a bungee Gomu, delaying his fall while the actual Oboro made the Ram hand seal and body flickered over to where Ryu would fall, scooping him up and placing him gently on the ground before he was able to fall and injure himself. "Good thing I was here... I won't let anything happen to my ninja. You should know that by now. But you'll have to excuse me, I'm a bit too excited now. Perhaps I should simply train with Sabo.

Hobbes once again bounded around for his master, hopping up on the mans shoulder. The two were growing in strength together. However, Hobbes saw the same thing that Oboro saw out of the corner of his eye. Another sharingan. While it was only single tomoe, it was there. Oboro walked over to the boy and looked him straight in the eye. "You and I... We will talk more later. He would say before exiting the scene.

Suzako let out a sigh of relief as he watched from the tree line. His eyes closed for a moment, as he heard the Otokage speak about not losing his Ninja. Then he opened them to see the Otokage walk towards him. The Otokage stared down at Suzako, his Sharingan eyes peering into Suzako's own. So the Otokage was an Uchiha? He hadn't seen a whole ton of Uchiha around the village. The Otokage mentioned that they would talk later, and left. Suzako decided he would leave, too. He had already spent too much time here. He had missions to go do.

So Suzako turned around, jumped to the top of the trees, and started making his way back to the village.
