This can also be used with range weapons, such as kunai, however this only deals half the chakra damage that a direct attack would do.

Limit the clone explosion to a seven meter radius then. So long as the opponent is within that range, they'll still feel the effects of the explosion and be drawn in.

Doesn't sound very gentle, but since it's not a direct touch from the user like the Gentle Fist, it wouldn't do the full amount of Chakra Damage.

This line suggests that your Gentle Blade would deduct 10 cp from the opponent for every hit to a chakra point.

This line says that only if you use Gentle Blade on ranged weapons (projectiles), that it'' only deal half of that chakra damage (5 cp).

I'm asking you to add that the chakra damage will be halved ( - 5 CP) for all weapons you use Gentle Fist on. Since we are in agreement that Gentle Blade wouldn't do full chakra damage as Gentle Fist.
