Garuda would be sitting under an waterfall, or better know as The Falls of Truth. As After arriving back in Kumogakure he needed to visits this place first and go over things with himself, as he wanted to see something. He knew all about what The Falls of Truth were supposed to do but wanted to see if they could work on someone like himself. As he sat their in a meditative position and his eyes closed he would find nothing was happening. Which was really disappointing as he expected something to happen, even if it was small. But unknowingly Sabo would begin to go through a special process which the falls haven't been said to posses, which makes someone go through a current moment which they bury away.

Flashback start
"Did we make it during the day like I said we would?" Garuda would ask as he continued to walk with Shana, Nana on his shoulder. Garuda had a calm expression on his face as he walked as he felt really good, even though he was assigned to take this village in a month or few weeks. Why he as if they had made it during the day was because he told her he believed the they would arrive at that time, even though he still couldn't see. But to not get into unneeded detail Garuda was right as they did make it during the day. "Shana, let us her and get situated. I know you two are tired of this cold weather and you both deserve to be somewhere warm." Garuda would say. Shana would just nob and the three would head to the nearest hotel within the village. How they had gotten within the village, even though it wasn't a major one, was by telling the guards that they were just a traveling couple. Even though that was in a way not true. As theses two weren't really a couple as Garuda didn't feel the way Shana felt for him, as he knew her feeling weren't really the real thing. More and that will be spoke of later.
Now that the three were situated within a hotel, their room able to see a good portion of the village. "I guess I will start gaining Intel." Shana would say as he began to leave the room, Garuda wouldn't stop her as this was her job and also his. But since he was blind at the moment he could't assist, and this hurt him a bit. As he was the one to accept this task and bring Shana along, but she was the one doing work and he didn't want her to do everything. Garuda would say something right after she had left the room though something he should have said while she was still in the room," Be careful." were the two words he would speak. Now that Shana was gone Garuda started to wonder what the hell he would do till she got back with information as she wouldn't come back if she didn't have anything, that being the type of kunoichi she was. "Nana, I am bored....do something.." Garuda would say to the bird that lied in his lap. The Bird would look up at Garuda and then sigh, a bit irritated that he would want her to do something instead of sleep. Which the lazy bird that had perched itself on Garuda's shoulder while the traveled to this place thought she deserved.
The little owl would begin to fly around Garuda, but would stop almost right after starting. Garuda was blind right now and the bird knew that so fly around him wouldn't entertain him, so she had to think of something else. Time started to move on as the bird kept thinking and Garuda would laugh, "I was joking Nana. No need to over think it my little friend, you company is enough. So you can go back to sleep. But before you do lead me to the window please." The bird would pull on Garuda hand to lead him to the window as she was asked, Garuda falling her brought the chair he had been sitting in. Th bird would make sure the chair would be facing the window and then would lay on Garuda's lap, and take a well deserved nap.
"Why am I still alive? Why am I even doing the assignment? Why do I keep trying to be something....I have no legacy....I was born to a horrible family...I killed my father...I don't know what really happened to my mother..and I have brothers...FAMILY!" garuda would clinch his hands in angry at that word,"....And What have I become?!? I used to be Tsuchikage and after that bloody merger of village I became Raikage..and decided to help anyone that need it! I decided I will not make any enemies but only gain allies....NO! FUCK THAT! I had decided before the titles of Kage that I would follow Syndra...but.." Garuda would rip the bandages from his face, and open his eye-less eye sockets. Blood would slowly begin to come from them as this was him crying," But she left me...just like my mother did...I was supposed to be here knight that would protect her, that would help her change the world. I was to help her create a world that no one would be left out in, no one would be hurt in,....no one without someone that cared for them." Garuda would grit his teeth as he started to grow in anger, his soul was crying out for something but he couldn't find it and didn't know what it was. " If only I just told Syndra that it was time to act before she left me...then...then...I wouldn't be like this right now." Garuda would close his eyes sockets, but the blood would continue to come.
Garuda began to think of everything in his life, everything that mattered. "I can't believe it..." Garuda would stop crying and his hear would sink, as he came to the realization that Shana and Nana were all he had left in this world. He didn't count his brothers as they weren't with him for a good portion of his life, and he only knew of the one he met years ago. Running his hand through his head he would pet Nana softly, "What would I do if I lost you and Shana?" This question was something that didn't just effect him but also the whole shinobi world. As what would they do if Garuda had decided he would go on a rampage throughout the world, he was a formidable shinobi and only a few in this world could match his power and skill. But would they be enough to fight against a monster he would become, as Garuda would fight to just destroy and share the pain he felt. His thoughts started to make him feel like he did a few weeks ago, when he took his eyes out.
"Herro! Garuda-sama!" Shana would declare as she came into the room, having been gone for a few hours. She wasn't aware that she had stopped Garuda from thinking about his sorrows when she entered the room." I have gained a lot of info on the Daimyo..but his palace is truly something out of this world. I didn't set for inside it but I could just feel something was off about it. Want me to feel you in on what I gained?" She would ask him, a smile on her face as he pulled a chair up next to him and looked out the window also. Wondering why he was looking out of it anyway, but would stop that thought after she looked at his face. A shocked look came over he face at what she saw," Why did you remove the bandages!?! And why is blood coming from them?!?"
"Don't worry about it Shana...It is nothing. So please tell me what you have learned." Garuda would tell her as he turned to her with a smile on his face. He didn't really want to here about the info as he just wanted to hear her speak. Time passed and she told Garuda everything she found out, and also said she would gain more before the day of the invasion."Shana. You have done good, so let me tell you something." Garuda would turn from her and look out the window." Put my eyes back in first though.... as I must tell you the story with those things." Garuda would tell her. She would do as she was told as Garuda spoke serious, and she didn't plan on going against what he said when he was like that. She went to one of the bag they brought and pulled out a box and after opening the box pulled out a jar with Garuda's eyes within them. She would then slowly get everything else she would need out and then go over to Garuda and begin, as she would do the surgery Garuda would tell the story.

Garuda would open his eyes as he felt that moment was over, but it wasn't. As Garuda was then forced into or transported into his mind. And there he would see himself standing there with an expressionless look on it's face. Something was truly off about this other Garuda though as he had something on the middle of his forehead, but before Garuda could say anything or even move the other Garuda would burst forward and raise Garuda up by the throat. Garuda felt it impossible to move the hand around his throat, and felt as if he was nothing within the grasp of this other Garuda. Right when Garuda felt as if he was going to die the other Garuda would toss him to the side and into a tree, and after slamming into it with amazing force Garuda would just lay there on the ground. The other Garuda would begin to walk over to Garuda but would abruptly stop as it was paralyzed in fear, as it in an instant felt as if someone had struck straight through it's chest. But that was only the image created by Garuda's killing intent toward the other Garuda. "O my...it seems it does work..." Garuda would say as he stood up to his feet, his eyes closed. And when he did open his eyes his eyes would be that of his Mangekyō Sharingan. This shocked the other Garuda for some reason, as it also couldn't move from the fear it felt. "I am glad I understand what this place was..or I might have been in trouble. As it doesn't say will happen if one can't overcome their inner self. Sadly I might not ever find that out....." Garuda would outstretch his arms and hug the other him, " To be of a man with great power I know what my inner self truly is...as I know that inside I am an truly fearful..but powerful being. So let me take away the fear that is within myself.." And with that Garuda would hug his other self until it was just him when he lost his mother, as that was the first time he started to really fear this world. "Now sleep fear of mine.." And after uttering those words he words he would snap the neck of his younger self. As he held his younger self's body he would see the slit on it's head, and wonder what it was. "What is th-" Before he could finish what he was saying or examine the slit he was back in reality, and no longer within his mind. As he had finished this training for now, but that doesn't mean he would move from sitting underneath The Falls of Truth. For some reason he felt his chakra was out of whack from that training and he needed to better implement his chakra control.
As he sat there doing this his pet, Nana, watched him and wondered what all was going on in the head of Garuda. As this bird has been with Garuda through many hardships but has never been really considered what Shana was to Garuda, that meaning how Shana was treated like an equal in some ways. And this saddened the bird and made it shut it's eyes, as it didn't want to cry because of this. But the bird would soon feel something warm gently hold her and when she opened her eyes would see Garuda. "Please don't be sad Nana...you are the only thing in this world keeping my heart intact...and you being sad hurt my very soul." And after saying that Garuda would hug his pet and go back to his training, but for some reason Nana would come over to him and sit in his lap. As she wanted to also go through this training with Garuda now.
