Kimura had suddenly been sent to the land of fire for some strange mission. As he was told that this would way very heavy on him staying the Anbu captain. As he was temporarily promoted to the position to see if he would be able to not only handle himself, but the other ninja on the Anbu. But first they wanted to test his skills as a ninja with another deadly test. As Kimura was going to be sent looking for any strange activity in the land of fire, that could help inform the Raikage of the hostile nature going on between the leaf and the mist. As they feared that this could start a ninja ward and make the village choose sides. And rumor was that Kumo was going to instantly ally with the mist. So it was no telling if the leaf was going to take this as a threat and instantly attack the cloud village under that suspicion.

Kimura’s task was to try and find out as much information about what was going on between these two villages without getting himself discovered. As it would look very bad if a member of the Kumo Anbu was found snooping in leaf territory. He was then to take all information found out back to the kage so that they could start to prepare themselves for what was possible to come. Making sure to understand all parts of the mission that he had been tasked with. Kimura made sure to leave anything that could trace him back to the land of Lightning, like his head band. As it was crucial that he not show any ties to his village.

Or any other nation for that matter, though they figured disguising himself as a Kiri ninja would be the best way for them to keep suspicion away from Kumo. And that would be exactly what Kimura did as he left the land of lightning a little before evening. As Kimura figured that it would be best for him to get to the land of Fire when the sun was setting so that it would be easier for him to hide himself from ninja that might be placed out I the landing searching for any possible threats coming to the village. So to help hide him Kimura wore an all-black cloak that would not only show any allegiance to a village but help him hide in the shadows.

Under that he wore his normal Anbu armor, though instead of his normal Anbu mask Kimura had adopted what looked to be a Kiri hunter ninja mask. That was Blue and white, so that in the slight chance he was seen it would seem as though he was a Kiri ninja trying to further the hostility between the two villages. Kimura would make it to the land of fire as soon as the sun had completely set, and so far he had yet to be seen by any ninjas. And he was going to do his best to keep it that way. The land would drastically change when Kimura got to the land of fire. As the land of lightning was field with mountains the land of fire was more of a giant forest all around.

Though Kimura figured that it be best if he let his fireflies scout the lands for him. So instantly he would preform the jutsu that he had done hundreds of times before and lets the fireflies release from his body. And they would instantly start to somewhat light the forest up as they scouted around sending messages of every little detail of the forest to Kimura. While Kimura stayed put high up in a tree looking to see if anyone else was in this forest with him at this current moment. As it was key that he make sure no one knows that he is here or what he is up to at this current moment.

Long dead were the Akatsuki. The originals that is, you know; Itachi, Pain, Kisame, Obito, Konan and the rest. Nowadays the world has all but forgotten the terrorist group that once tried to bring all of it's inhabitants to their knees. But from the ashes of the phoenix, another powerful bird will rise, rebirth in flames. This bird has a few feathers, one of them being this fire cracker Hanae Hozuki. Known in Kirigakure "The Corrupted Idol" for a long list of crimes, many have forgotten her face, her crimes etched into the minds of the Hozuki clan as "something to never replicate". This day, Hanae was sent off to meet up with a connect in Konoha. Since the Akatsuki reformed, no big moves were made, just mostly merc work. An easy pay for a person with low morals, people always need something dirty to be done.

Around this time Hanae continued her pace through an open plain, humming to herself, with a relaxed smile. Her attire remained unchanged, just her usual crazy outfit choice, but with her full Akatsuki cloak overlapping. One would notice that this cloak is a completely different style than the original, but it didn't matter, none would recognize an Akatsuki member if they walked right up to them and asked for directions. Once Hanae noticed an upcoming forest she'd keep a kunai in hand, hidden inside the sleeve. Even though she was alerted, her facial expression never changed, calm with a small smile, humming.

"Got me breathing with dragons
I'll crack the egg in your basket, you bastard
I'm Marilyn Manson with madness, now just imagine the magic
I light to asses, don't ask for your favorite rapper!"

she begins rapping, deepening her voice to sound like the artist preforming. Music was quite a thing eh? Able to tell such elaborate stories, able to touch people of all backgrounds. Hanae thought of herself as a rapper, but wasn't that good, obviously she thought she spit straight FIRE! So for whatever reason this entire week she was talking to others as if she were a rapper. Slang, Ebonics and all. Weird.

Entering the forest, a large amount of fireflies were flying around. This was weird because it was the middle of fall and cold, all the fireflies were dead. Hanae instantly took notice of this and it made her uneasy. She was goofy, insane and childish, but never stupid. Thoughts of an Aburame hunter nin ran though her mind, maybe Kiri had closed in on her. This wasn't good, she didn't feel like going to war with the village yet, she didn't have enough "resources" at the moment. Sadly for these bugs, they had to die, and the source of them had to be traced.

"Ayo, I hate bugs yo. These bitches be trippin homie, I gotz ta kill them!" she says in a stereotypical rapper tone. With her free left hand she begins grabbing as many fireflies, almost childlike in her endeavors. After the first caught firefly she received a quick jolt, and noticed her hand was slightly red as if she touched an open flame. Yeah, something weird was at word here. She covered her hand with her sleeve and continued in her task, this time negating the pain. "Ugh, fuck these bugs yo. Bunch of bitch ass bitches, I hate bugs." This time when she speaks, her voice is louder, as if she wants to be heard. By now about 30 fireflies were caught and smashed in the woman's hand, but with each killed firefly, the forest grew darker. It was around 4-5, and the sun was setting, making visibility hard for those with untrained eyes. Once about 50 fireflies were killed, Hanae wips the remains of the squashed pest on her a tree, and then her cloak to fully clean all the bug juice off. Hopefully the source would notice his friends were massacred and decided to come out. Ears perked up, muscles tensed and mind ready, Hanae was in defense mode.

Kimura wasn’t completely sure about what was going on in the forest right now. But he was one hundred percent sure that he was not alone. As not only could the agitating voice of a female trying to rap be heard, but he was also starting to lose connection to his fireflies. Meaning that someone was in the forest and killing them, which was something that Kimura did not appreciate very well. As he was very connected to his fireflies. And losing them was not something he cared much for. Though Kimura had now gotten a good feeling of what was around him. Considering he had his fireflies constantly informing him of what was all around him. He could easily see that this forest might host some animals. But there was absolutely no water within the area within about a mile in all directions.

But they also informed him that the girl that was killing his fireflies was very close to him being only about ten meters away from him. Though he doubted she would be able to see him unless she had one Doujutsu or sensing abilities. Considering Kimura was about ten feet up hidden in a tree wearing all black to blend with the night. Plus Kimura had used a special scent to help him not have a smell that would blend out from that of the forest. As now he smelled just like that of a tree. Figuring it be best that he not move Kimura would do the dragon hand sign once, though he made sure to do it silently without making any noise or moving the branches and leaves of the tree, with his hand still being hidden in his cloak making it almost impossible to see. Instantly fireflies would start to pour out the pours of Kimura’s body and make their way out his cloak.

Though unlike the other fireflies already in the forest these would have no glow. As Kimura wanted to make sure that he did not give his location away to whoever was in the forest with him right now. But Kimura was not going to just sit by as the insulted his clan’s ability and killed his bugs. Instantly about thirty of the new fireflies would start to near the girl who had made it clear she hated them. Kimura figured he show what the bugs she hated so much could do, as well as try and see if he could find something out about this girl In the process, like what business she had her in the forest. Without hesitation Kimura would do another string of hand signs as soon as the fireflies got within five meters of the girl. Instantly all of them would explode with high power.

That equal that that of an explosive tag. Kimura was sure this would be enough for to send the girl flying to back to the ground causing a little bit of damage to her, nun to serious though. As he was still going to need to find out some information about her especially the strange patterned cloak that she had on. As he had ever seen anything like it before and it seemed it could have some connection to something. Like a village group or clan. And finding the village this girl came from could be very key to finding out information about the hostility between the lands of the leaf and mist. And be very key In him completely getting the Anbu captain job that he had dreamed of having ever since he was in the academy. Though it he was it would come with some trials like this one.

What an annoying occurrence. A rival shinobi had become locked in a game of cat and mouse with Hanae, but she didn't feel like playing any games. She just wanted to go to Konoha, meet up with her connect and do business... but nooooo. Now she has to worry about being captured, or having her hand blown off, or being attacked by freaky fireflies. This is so weird, who even uses fireflies in combat? Ugh. Now all of a sudden, more fireflies were emerging! This dude must be close because Hanae is able to hone in on the location easily using her ears. How you ask? Simple. The sound of a bunch of bugs in one area flapping their little wings. Since it was fall and cold, all of the bugs in the forest were dead, there weren't really any animals to make noise in this particular forest. It was for the most part silent in this area, so the tiny flapping of tiny wings were easily picked up by a world class ninja.

Hanae groans and rolls her eyes, obviously the dude wasn't going to come from the shadows, so she had to force him. Kimura was about 20 meters away (in front of her) from Hanae, and about 3 meters above her hiding in the trees. Now, Hanae didn't know his exact location, but from nowhere she heard the wings all emit from a singular location a little bit above herself, not that far away. With her trained eyes she began focusing on where she assumed he'd be, but his dark attires blended him in a bit to well, for the moment at least. It wasn't completely dark outside, the sunlight still lite the area, but she couldn't give too much focus into located him... she still had to deal with these bugs. Once the tiny flapping of wings began coming towards her, yet were somewhat invisible, masked by the darkness, Hanae took action. Forming a string of handsigns, a large amount of water shot from her mouth with force, erupting high into the skies. What swift speeds this water travels, destroying all in it's path like the damning rage of Poseidon himself. Entire trees were simply pulverized as the jutsu crashed into them, making such powerful beings of nature appear to be nothing but branched. The bugs were about 10 meters away from the girl when this tidal wave of water would quickly engulf them and destroy all the trees in front (and the sides) of Hanae in a 50 meter radius. Even if the bugs exploded like bombtags, the power of the water negates and force they could muster.

By now most of the forest was clear, save a few trees behind Hanae's original location. Any hidden ninja, if he still were alive, would be in the open. A mini lake now stood in place of trees, being about 6 feet deep. Hanae was hidden among the lake, quickly emerging from the water and climbing one of these said remaining trees. She didn't trust staying in the water, those fireflies sent a lightning jolt through her system, her opponent possibly had the Raiton element. She scanned the forest of him, and if she got a lock, she'd smile and hands together, weaving another jutsu or two.

Kimura still hiding in the trees was shocked by the way that the female ninja managed to avoid his attack from his fireflies. As he forgot to think about all the sound the fireflies would make if they were close together and flying. So it showed that this female ninja had some good ears on her for her to be able to hear the small wings of the fireflies as they flew through the forest. And luckily for Kimura that at the same time the girl had managed to do the giant tidal wave that knocked down most of the trees he had prepared a scape goat. Using the substitution jutsu Kimura managed to switch places with a broken branch in a tree that stood behind the girl. Though now Kimura had the whole forest scouted out within a mile.

And he could tell that he and this strange female was the only ninja In the forest within a mile radius of themselves. Which most likely meant that she was traveling alone. Though Kimura still wanted to take safety precautions as it was no telling if the girl had been sent ahead as a scout for a larger party. Or if she had just managed to get lost from the rest of her friends and ended up a ways from everyone. Meaning that if combat did strike between these two Kimura would need to try his bet in keeping noise down.

As Humans were unlike animals, in the fact that Animals would most likely run if they started to hear loud noises. Humans would do the complete opposite in most cases and run towards the noise to see who was having a problem. Especially considering a leaf out post was probably close by and Kimura was sure that the leaf ninja would not take lightly to foreign ninja being on their territory at night unannounced and fighting. Now Kimura was no expert on foreign villages, and their customs but he was sure that they would not be two happy with any of the possibilities that were about to go on right now. And on top of that Kimura knew for a fact that a loud combat could ruin his mission if it drew too much attention. And that was not something that Kimura was about to let happen. He was set on making sure that he stayed the new Anbu captain of Kumo.

And he was going to make sure that he stopped anything that got in his way, as well as succeed this mission. So now it was time for him to come up with a strategy for him to quickly take out the target. As she was now standing on a tree that was In the middle of a lake. Though now she was facing the opposite direction of Kimura with her back facing him. Kimura figured he still had a little bit of the element of surprise. Considering that the female had managed to destroy most of the mall trees she was not able to destroy the big ones in the area Kimura was, Though now the water was six feet high, luckily for Kimura his trees was amazingly tall and he was still a good ten to twenty feet above the water at the bottom of the tree. As well as the fact that it was at least three to five other trees the size of Kimura’s grouped around his tree.

Now Kimura must figure out the best way for him to take down the ninja while she was on the tree way small then his. As Kimura was still ten meters away from the female and was going to need to figure out if he wanted to move in and attack the female at close range using one of his swords or if he just wanted to take the long range method and finish her with a jutsu from his arsenal. Though he figured that the best way for him to do it was attack from long range. As he had already seen the girl was a user of the water element. Meaning that it would be dangerous for Kimura to try and attack her while most of the ground was covered in water. As it could result I a very wet situation for Kimura. And he meant that literally as well as figuratively. So Kimura figured the best thing he could do was to try and use the water to his advantage.

As it made it really dangerous for the female ninja to not only be wet herself, but to be surrounded by water. As Kimura was a ninja that used the lightning element, meaning he had a little advantage with those using the water element. As long as he played it safe himself, and made sure he didn’t get electrified. So just as before Kimura would silently do hand signs inside of his cloak making sure he didn’t make any movement that could be seen as well as making sure that he made no noise. Kimura would then release a double lightning bolt from his mouth that moved as mass speed’s towards the tree that the female was standing on I the middle of the water. Kimura wasn’t 100% aiming for the girl as he was more aiming to break the tree branch. But if the girl avoided moving from the tree branch the lightning bolt would manage to make contact with her lower leg. Though the lightning actually split, one part going straight to the water.

The girl would not manage to move from the Lighting bolt that Kimura had shot in time. Though luckily the lightning would hit her leg breaking it only causing her to fall slumped on the branch in complete pain That would make her pass out. The good part was that she managed to stay on the tree branch instead of falling off into the water. Because Kimura was sure that her hitting the water would of ended in complete death for the girl. And so instantly without making a noise Kimura would move to the branch of the girl doing and hand sign and touching her head. Instantly her memories would start to flood into his brain. And once he was done he would do yet another hand sign and body flicker away from the girl making his way back towards the land of lightning.
