Get ya grub on! (Sato and Korra)

As korra finished his statement, he could see on the masked boy's face that he was suprised at why korra had chosen him but korra knew that only time would justify his instincts. Only if korra had had some one to grow up with, maybe he might not have been so cold as he is but this masked boy named ryuu had somehow affected korra. Also looking at his fight, he looked like a shinobi with great potentials who just need grooming, some one to show him the right path, some one to take him extra miles and korra felt he could do that. As korra now shifted his hearing not his eyes at the other guy as he put on his hood trying to conceal his identity. He was not impressed by korra's entrance, neither was he impressed by korra's words.. All he did was leave Ryuu with a parting word that korra did not care to remember. Korra now turned to ryuu as he called his name and spoke on...Ryuu...you might be wondering why I chose to recruit you into the shadow squad. Yoy might have doubts about yourself and your abilities but only time would justify if you are what you think you are and not what I think you can be. In some day's time, you will meet your other squad member..and also, come prepared..I dont do talks so, dont expect the meeting to be all about talks..... As korra finished talking, he took his leave in the blink of an eye, hopping unto a shop roof and he was gone probably leaving the boy to think those words over...

There was some tension in the air which felt like it could have been cut with a knife, Hiryo seemed to dislike the jonin or at the very least he wasn't all that impressed as he said that it looked like Ryuu could have not only match Korra in speed or strength but surpass him in those areas. Ryuu wasn't really sure that was a possibility seeing as he had just gotten beaten with one move by a chunin who was younger looking than this jonin, dealing with either one was probably far beyond his level of skill he thought. Hiryo gave him one last address as he turned away putting that cloak back on as if hiding himself from the rest of the world, he even called Ryuu a friend like they had known each other for a long time. Ryuu could only manage a wave in return because he didn't see Hiryo as anything more than another person that he had met, connections for him were like trying to catch a hook into a rock not easily done.

Now Korra was addressing him speaking as if he knew Ryuu as well, his face didn't change from an almost bored look to hide his emotions but inside he was slightly annoyed with all these two for assuming they knew anything about him. Korra didn't even wait for an answer he just said his piece and left, he could taste blood in his mouth and he realized he had been clenching his teeth tightly still, the wobbliness that came from the elbow was almost all gone so he decided to get himself cleaned up in the restaurant and go home for the day.
