Oboro had agreed to meet his cousin and pupil at his favorite sushi bar within the village. He particularly loved the octopus that the cook made in this place. It was almost as if it was fried, however it seemed to be in something other than grease because it had a very unique taste to it at all times. He could not name the flavor, though the consist any was absolutely perfect every time. The way it crunched in his mouth made his mouth water with each bite he took. With it, he consumed a side of rice, white of course. And in the seat next to him sat his newest pet, Oona the Giant Panda. Though, for the moment she wasn't "giant". She wasn't even big enough to take up the whole stool, though she sat begging for some of the meal that her owner was devouring. She looked up at him with adoring eyes until he finally decided to share a bit with her. However, Pandas are herbivores so he fed her rice rather than meat. He didn't want to contaminate the only panda he had access to. Rather than keeping it, he was likely going to train it til it was older before selling it to someone in need of a ninja pet. However, he wouldn't mind keeping her around for a little while. She was actually kind of cute, but he would not allow himself to become emotionally attached to the panda, for Hobbes was where he rested his heart when it came to animal companionship. For now, Hobbes was watching the house. He was so proud of the tiger, finally becoming A Rank. It took some time, but it all paid off. The tow had worked hard together and he would allow that to reflect when he finally decided to teach the tiger some jutsu.
Oboro sat and waited for his student to arrive. Yamabushi was not much older than that of himself and always seemed to have a scowl on his face. He was a dark boy indeed, much like that of the Uchiha that came long before the two had been born. They seemed to all carry a melancholy expression to them, moping and spouting evil each time they were around. However, Oboro saw more within Yamabushi. He knew there was potential in the boy and he was waiting to see just that. While he had just failed the Chunin exams, there was still much more the two could do as time passed in waiting for another chance at promotion.
