The administration building was the same as it always was when Hira was called in to receive his next mission. It was a building full of busy people trying to get done just too many tasks all at once. He made his way to the front desk where the missions were usually handed out, just by the mission board. The secretary today, however, signaled him to go to the conference room just down the hall for a formal mission briefing. As he walked towards the designated location, a thought popped into his head. "Hmmmm, perhaps this is a mission of high rank if they want to give me a formal briefing. They wouldn't do so for a C-rank or even a B-rank mission. At least, I wouldn't expect them to." He noticed another shinobi awaiting him by the entrance to the room, a jounin rank man from his looks. "Hiragana Hozuki, right this way please." They both stepped inside and as Hira closed the door behind him, the briefing began quickly. With just the two of them in the room, Hira figured this would be quick. "There have been reports of unusual criminal activity in the surrounding area. Their recent activities are unlike the norm. We believe they are now acting under a higher power. If left unchecked this could get dangerous, but, that's where you come in. Investigate the reason behind these changes, and remove the looming threat to the village before it comes to fruition. Apprehend the leader, dead or alive. Dismissed and good luck." Hira nodded his approval and retrieved the mission scroll before exiting the room and heading off towards his residence to gather his equipment.

Arriving home in a matter of minutes he quickly put on his standard Anbu armor and mask. Afterwards he secured his two katanas, both the Muzuryuugatana and the Mijikai Shi, to his belt and set off in a haste for the border. He hoped to discover the main hide out rather quickly, and be able to deal with the threat in a similarly quick manner. Leaping among the high tree branches as he left the village he kept his eyes open for any sort of criminal related activity that could be going on down below, on the forest floor. It wasn't long before he spotted a merchant convoy along the main path, headed right for an ambush just a few meters down the road. Hira, sat atop the trees, awaiting for the moment the attack was sprang where at that moment he would intervene. Moments later the band of five bandits leaped from the side trees to the road, halting the proceeding convoy. However, Hira sprang into action as well. He noticed right away the hesitation the bandits felt, now that they were faced with an Anbu rank shinobi. They all stood still until one of them charged. Hira drew the Mijikai Shi and with one quick blow to the stomach using the swords hilt, the bandit was out of commission. The others tried to flee, but Hira wasn't about to just let them go that easily. In the blink of an eye a pool of water formed at his feet from which four bubbles rose up. He launched them at each of the fleeing criminals, nailing all of them directly in the back of the head hard enough for four more knockouts. By now the first bandit to be defeated was regaining his composure. He drew his Mijikai Shi fully from its sheath and held it to the mans throat. "Tell me where your main hideout is or in the next moment your head will roll at your feet." The criminal cracked in an instant. "Okay okay.. if you head just 25 kilometers to the east you'll find the main base. Its concealed by a seal tag but a shinobi like you should have no issue finding it and removing it." With all the info he needed now in his possession, he cracked the bandit hard in the head with the blunt end of his sword, knocking his lights out once again.

He headed east, 25 kilometers exactly as he was told. Searching the immediate area it didn't take him long to find the seal tag place on a large boulder. He removed the tag quickly and this prompted the rock to move uncovering a hole which appeared to be the hideouts entrance. Leaping down, he was now confronted by a very large man with a bulky war hammer. The man stood tall like a building, shirtless. An eye patched slung over his left eye. "Well well, look what we have here. Coming to take me out are ya? Yeah that's not gonna happen, see, iv known that the village was gonna send someone to deal with me for quite sometime and frankly, i feel offended by their choice." The man lifted his war hammer and with a roar charged at Hira. The swings of the mighty hammer were powerful but slow with Hira's speed being more than enough to evade them. However when Hira finally attacked with a swift kick to the mans midsection, he noticed the brute was unfazed. "Is that all you got little man?" With a downward swing of the large hammer coming in quick Hira blocked it with the Mizuryuugatana. The force of the hammer was becoming to great for Hira to withstand however, and with a quick follow up, he surged his chakra into the blade. The bright blue aura and water dragon formed in a mere matter of seconds, and as the aura began to glow a bright blue he cut through the maul like it was butter. The large end of the hammer dropped to the floor, while in the next instant Hira had embedded the sword into the brutes shoulder. A howl of pain escaped his throat as he removed the blade and threw it across the dark room. "I don't need a weapon to snap you like a twig!" The man said grabbing Hira and lifting him up, only to notice Hira slip through his fingers as he used the hydrification technique to liquefy himself. Hira immediately dove to the side and retrieved the mizuryuugatana as quick as he could. He surged his chakra to the blade once more as the brute charged at him in a frenzy. However, in a single slash of Hira's blade, blood poured from a now gaping wound on the mans chest as he fell to the ground. Returning the blade to its sheath, he sighed and began the removal of the mans head as proof of the missions completion. Keeping the decapitation as clean as possible to avoid staining his armor with blood. He the retraced his steps back to the village with the mission completed successfully.
