Izo's eyes stayed fixated on his younger student as he gripped his own wakizashi that he chose from the weapon rack. The smile would never leave his face as he knew what Sachio is capable of doing, turning a boring training day into a fun day of adventure. Sachio's body aura became calmer as Izo looked upon his student he noticed that the young Genin of the Cloud would be controlling his breathing, doing so by calmly inhaling and exhaling a perfect amount of times just after re-sheathing his blade. His body became still after his breathing exercises and it was apparent that he was ready for the training to commence. Izo's knees were bent as well as his student's, they both are well versed in the arts of using the swords in combat situations and they knew that when facing another blade artist that staying lower to the ground may win the battle. Even though this was simply a training exercise, hits still matter.
Sachio would then look at Izo as if he intended to attack proving to Izo that he was ready for the training. Upon reaching the correct distance for his wakizashi Sachio would bring forth his right hand with which gripped the blade and would slice at Izo with the wakizashi that he grabbed from the weapon rack. Izo's saphire eyes stared upon Sachio's own stance as he marveled at the young genin's use of the Iado from the Samurai.
How is he able to do that? Is he from the Land of Iron? Upon further inspection he noticed a few flaws that differentiated Sachio's own version from the original Iado.
Izo's mind kept calm cool and collected allowing him to be ready to repel any slice that Sachio was prepared to do. Izo's blade stayed in the center of his own body as Sachio's wakizashi was brought forth to clash with Izo's own blade. Izo angled the blade to meet Sachio's wakizashi at a correct angle to deflect it back to where it would feel as if the wakizashi was met with a buffering wall. The acrobatic way Izo reflected the attack is one that he hasn't done before, more practicing with the younger student. Izo's blade would arch Sachio's sword upward at the time of rejection and Izo's body would get lower to the ground where his head would be just below Sachio's belt while his left arm would reach up at Sachio's chest for a strike. At the time of the rejection Izo's blade would glow a beautiful blue almost the same color as his eyes. He knew he had to show the stance's abilities in full so he would quickly use his left hand which was holding the Anbu wrist guard as a taijutsu medium by striking at Sachio's chest palm forward gently. Not gently enough to where Sachio would be upset that Izo is taking it easy, but enough to know that the two are training.
The key in the stance is momentum, it's all about momentum, using the opponent's momentum against them is the strongest thing a swordman can do against another swordman. "
A swordsman without balance isn't a swordsman at all, simply a man with a sword." This little saying would be the first piece of knowledge that Izo bestows upon his younger student counterpart. Izo shot a half grin at Sachio before saying, "
Got that young Sack?" he laughed when he finished speaking putting his left hand in front of his mouth covering his own smile. He wasn't wearing his Anbu mask so his facial features are in full effect for this battle, not that it should matter, just something to note. "
With this stance you must use your opponent's momentum against them, you can add chakra to your blade for more fun and with your lava shit, I bet it'll be crazy deadly young Sack." Izo gives the young lad some advice on deciphering the stance of Kumo known as the Issen Stance before allowing his blade to be sheathed once more.
"
Now it's your turn. Attempt the stance I was just in or something similar, you only need to block my attack and use what you've gathered so far. Let's see how it works out." Izo said, grabbing his sheath, "
I'll attack with my weapon's holster." Izo dropped his sword onto the ground for this portion of the training, it was time to see what the little one picked up from the small amount of practice he has gotten so far with the stance.
