Officer Sato to the rescue | P | Mission

A brand new Chunin ready for duty. Hiryo had come a long way from back when he was just a little well-mannered young boy living in the strict supervision of his now deceased parents. He had learn't a lot from his parents that could help him, not only as a shinobi but also in life as a young man. He had become a lot more stronger then before and he had also passed the Academy Student and Genin rank and was now officially a Chunin of Kumogakure no Sato. Along with his new rank came a lot more responsibilities and also harder missions that Hiryo was eager to begin. Today he had planned to stay in bed and rest a little until he was informed about a mission that he might be assigned too. At this point and time, it was too soon to tell if he was assigned so he just continued to wait. Two hours later, it was confirmed that he was assigned to the mission which made him get out of bed and change into the appropriate attire and head out towards the destination of the mission.

On his way towards the meeting point of the mission, he stopped by a local shop to get a few things to fuel his energy for the day. "Thanks Ago! I will most probably see you tomorrow morning or maybe tonight if I feel hungry again after my mission!" Hiryo would say waving at the shop keeper and leaving the store. He always visited the same shop when he was hungry and from all the times he shopped there, him and the store owner got closer until finally being good friends. After leaving the store and eating his breakfast on the way to his mission, Hiryo would greet a few citizens and walk his way down the last road before reaching his point. Upon arriving, he would see one of the Raikage's personal assistants standing there with a scroll in his hand. "You sure took your time Hiryo." Heo would say to Hiryo looking at him with a slightly angered face. "Hello to you too Heo.." Hiryo would reply. "As you may know, you have been assigned to this mission. Around the borders of Kumogakure, there are several outposts that send back information, scouting reports and other top secret information straight towards the HQ. Recently, we have not been getting any words from one of the outposts closet to Otogakure. We think something might have happened so we want you to go and check it out and report back here with your findings so we can make further judgement." Heo would say explaining the mission to Hiryo before turning his back and walking a few steps before stopping once again. "Oh and Hiryo...... do not fail us." He would say before finally walking off into the distance. Hiryo would take everything he was told and plant it within his brain. "Thanks for the encouragement Heo..." He would say before flickering out of the area and heading towards the outpost.

After traveling a mighty distance towards the outpost, Hiryo would finally reach his end point. Upon arriving he would notice a huge tree and at the top was a hidden tree house that blended well into the environment. He would then proceed to walk up the side of the tree rather then taking the secret door. He didn't want to take the door because he had a feeling it was a trap and he would be walking right into the spiders web so he thought of a way around it and that was the tree walking. He would continue until reaching the hut and jumping through a window revealing dead Kumo shinobi everywhere. Just like we suspected... they were killed...but by who? Hiryo would say walking over to the bodies and checking if any were still alive. In the end they were all dead and there were no clues to who done it. The outpost was a mess, all destroyed and the messenger birds were also dead. Nothing was left in this outpost besides dead bodies, birds and blood stains. Hiryo would analyze the room one more time. "By the looks of these blood stains.. they seemed to be caused by a sharp object? maybe a sword or kunai or something. I need to pass this information back to HQ." Hiryo would say turning his back on the dead comrades and leaving the outpost, heading back towards his village. Who could have done this.... I shall avenge my fallen comrades! They will not die in vein!...." Hiryo's final thoughts were when leaving the crime scene and arriving back at his village, passing on the information to the Raikage.

Although they had no hard evidence or clues to the killer, the only suspect they have at the moment was Otogakure. They were the closest and it would make since being Otogakure but they couldn't point any fingers just yet. They needed some kind of lead that could point them in the direction they all wanted and so they waited for the chance to come.
