Dojo Stuffz [Solo Mission]

Mission Briefing:

Having heard about a new dojo in the village Akio thought he should give it a look over. After all their was always the chance that he could learn something new from such a place. Since the Chunin had some spare time he decided to go to the location he saw the building yesterday and investigate the odd looking structure. Walking into the dojo the shinobi glance to his right before looking to his left. The building seemed completely vacant for a moment before an old man stepped out from one of the training rooms that broke off from the main room, a lobby if you would. The man would hum softly as he looked over the Kaguya. The man adorned a worn and tattered blue robe that came down just short an inch from the floor. Along with the hood and his white beard not much of the man's face could be seen from inside the dark shroud of the hood. Leaning against his old and knotted wooden walking cane he would continue to observe the young man in front of him. His eyes tracing the boy's every feature.

Several moments would go by before the man would utter any words. "Ahhhh, yes. You will do nicely." As he talked Akio was clearly a bit upset with the man's choice of words. The Kaguya thought as if the man saw him as more of a tool then a new student. After all a trainer never mentions their students 'doing nicely'. How could this old man see him let alone his potential for training with the man. Considering the look of him Akio wasn't even sure if he could move enough to train him in the state he was in the man supposedly couldn't even walk without his cane.

While he was a bit upset Akio contained his feelings. After a short while the old man motioned for Akio to follow and lead the young shinobi to a separate room that was an exact square made for the specific motive of training. The moment the young Chunin stepped into the room the old man pivoted and swung his cane at him with great force. Akio's eyes widened as he hopped back away from the wooden stick. The swing would glance off of the doorway as the blue haired boy growled loudly. "You crazy old man! What are you doing?!" However his words fell on deaf ears as the man cackled softly and redirected the can into a second swing, this would continue with the same results for awhile as Akio began to struggle with keeping his cool. Then in a blink of an eye the boy would jump to his right foot while kicking the cane free from the man's hand with his left one. Once the old man was defenseless he would hum in surprise before bowing his head and places his palms against each other. "Good job, young one. You have proven yourself worthy enough."

Looking through a few scrolls the man lifted his head "Ahhh, yes. The Stone Needles jutsu, read this scroll over and over until you have memorized what it says." Snatching the scroll from the man's hand Akio unraveled the piece of parchment, his eyes scanning over the words several times.


After reading the scroll over multiple times Akio grinned with excitement and gathered his senbon. Looping some string through the specially designed eyes that he had chipped out from the top of the needle-like weapons that he had predicted he would need eventually. As he was doing so the old man walked up to him with a smirk on his face, although the emotion was barely noticeable through the man's thick white beard. "You can use the dummies at the far end of the room if you prefer." Nodding softly Akio stood up and gripped the six senbon between his fingers, three in each hand as he crossed his arms in front of his chest. Swing both his arms to their correct sides Akio released the senbon, watching them as they stuck into the dummy, three in each arm. Grinning he tugged the strings tight and shot his chakra through the strings, blue sparks dancing up the string until they meant with the dummy. The somke lingering in the air was the sign that the technique was working. Forcing a the surge along Akio pulled the strings and ripped the senbon out of the dummy. Catching the senbon in his fingers he placed them into his satchel with the strings still attached. Perhaps this technique would work well on the battlefield, after all losing the use of one arm could add a bit of dead weight onto an opponent that could make a big deal in a fight.

Seeing the Chunin satisfied by how quick Akio mastered the techniqu he hummed happily. "Good, very good. That will be all for the time being. Come back another time and I shall teach you some better jutsu. After all I think I have one that would suit you very well and serve quite well in combat." Bowing to Akio the Kaguya was a bit caught off guard for a moment before correcting himself, turning to face the old man the Chunin bowed in response and quickly turning to face the exit of the room. Grinning softly Akio walked out of the room and next the dojo. He was not upset with the results of his visit, perhaps he would just have to come back for a second session.
