Personality Description: Rei, a hardened figure already due to his background, often displayed a calm and collected demeanor, rarely showing any signs of fear in extreme circumstances. He buried his emotions deep inside himself, causing some to see him as cold and uncaring. Despite this perceived attitude, Rei rarely showed a human side, expressing small concern for allies' well being during dangerous operations, and even demonstrating very little compassion towards fallen enemies.
Though mostly reserved, Rei showed some prominent change in his outlook towards life throughout the years. Loosing many friends and family members left a deep-seated emotional pain leading to withdrawal from people which left him a ghost in a shell. His reunion with emotions and new found nindo to be the true ninja invigorated his desire to live. His understanding of the ninja world at his young age, however, would create a morbid willingness to accept death when the time is right.

Birth Arc: Rei was born on January 23rd, to Kenta and Kaori, ANBU of the mist. He was born with the name "Rei" but they didn't want people to know of his family name, so they nicknamed him '0' since he was always interested in silence. His parents didn't want people to know of his skills and shun or mock his abilites. He grew up, and Rei showed extraordinary abilities, even at a young age and even through his toddler years.
Pre-Academy Arc: Rei continued to acell in everything he was taught--especially the Sensory Techniques. This was his favourite art to practice, and since the parents is known for their assassin training, this made Rei even more strong. His father spent most of his time (when he wasn't working as ANBU) training with Rei, teaching him the techniques and principles of being a killer. When most kids were out playing, Rei was hitting the training dummy, and was being lectured by his father about how he should live, by the way of the ninja. Everyday (even now) Rei can hear his father drilling the words into his head, over and over again. He also lectured him not to tell others of his last name, though he didn't even know his own first name but was named "Zero". He trained throughout his younger years, hard everyday with his father until he reached the criteria matched. His father wanted to produce the best ANBU for the new generation and so he sacrificed Rei's social life to a life full of war. He was 6 when left with his father on a 2year trip to learn about; survival; hunting; landscape;. When returning back to the mist village The father was certain Rei would be the perfect weapon.
Academy Arc: Rei and his father continued to train hard, constantly, but actually not as much because Rei entered the academy at the age of 8. Even now, surrounded by ninja-in-training that were a bit older than him, he still excelled passed all the ninja. He was sometimes mocked, but always remembered what his father said--Live by the shinobi code. He wanted to cry so bad one day, but he had the lectures drilled in his head. He got jumped by three older boys by the age of 13. He was scared, they circled him, but he quickly ignored his emotions and turned the fracas around. He didn't do that much damage, the most was stabbing one of the boys in the stomach with a kunai, the other two he just knocked out. Once word about the fight leaked to the Kirigakure ninja academy, the teachers decided that he was to dangerous for any of the students at this point, so promoted him to genin half way through the year. He was promoted to genin at the same age as he entered, becoming one of the quickest to graduate that early.
