Having just sent for Chikara the Kaguya yawned and continued on with his walk to their old Sensei's hideout. Better known as the hideout of the famed Zabuza Momochi. Although as he had stepped foot in the area of the well known landmark Akio would look from side to side. Signs of battle were evident in the area, but no sure signs were able to be seen. While he was curious of what had caused this accident that had wrecked the hideout the boy had something else on his mind. Although if the topic arose in the conversation of the two the Chunin would not be shy to ask Chikara's thoughts on the matter. For now the Chunin would take a rest on a fallen log as he awaited the arrival of the red haired girl. While it was barely day break the Chunin was ready to wait as long as it took for her to arrive. After all this would be one of the last times they would talk in a long time and therefore he felt as if Chikara deserved to know of his leave. Akio would also like to ask a few things of Chikara since it would be no easy task to get out of a village known as the Bloody Mist. There would no doubt be a little resistance due to him now being a Chunin.

It had been a long time since anyone had sent for her, the last time that had happened was during a time when Nikolai, Genesis, and papa had died. So when Akio had sent for her, she was curious as for the reason. Emerging from her home that she had gone from sharing with her papa to her little sister at the crack of dawn. With the hood flung over her head, shadowing her face, she exited the gates of the village and headed for the Zabuza Hideout, a place that had once stood tall and proud throughout the century but had been destroyed during a battle that resulted in the death of her target. It had been a while ago, but the battle was still fresh in her mind, though she would do well not to mention it.

She would arrive at the hideout soon enough, pretending to be rather intrigued by the state of the hideout as she approached Akio. “What happened here?” Chikara asked as she removed her hood, shaking her head before crimson eyes fixated themselves onto Akio. “And why have you sent for me.”

“What happened here?” Hearing a familiar voice Akio would look up and quickly reply to Chikara's question. "I'm not exactly sure to be honest." He would tell her as he took a glance back at the hideout before standing up.“And why have you sent for me.” Chikara would quickly ask for Akio's motive after he answered her first quiestion. "Well as you may know I don't much care for the leader of our once proud village." Starting to rethink if he should of told Chikara the Chunin realized he could not turn back now Akio would just continue. "Therefore, I have decided to leave the village on my own account. Seeing as you are my squad mate and a person that I can actually stand I felt as if you should know. Also even though I consider myself rather skilled I would like to ask for your help." Pausing for a split second the Kaguya rethought things over in his head on how he should word his next sentence before continuing to talk. "While I don't expect you to go out of your way and risk your safety I would like to know if you had anything that could help me."

Even though Akio did not out right tell Chikara he wanted the famous sword she had used to cut off the shinobi's head that Hakai told her to he was geared toward getting it. Although on the other hand he wanted to keep his request broad in case Chikara may have other things he could use that would improve his odds of escape should someone notice him at the gates.

Ah. Departing from the village due to the new Mizukage, a feeling she understood quite well for she had also had the strong desire to turn her back on the village and venture out on her own. She had planned the entire thing out meticulously, how she would leave, how she would fake her death so that people didn’t go looking for her, and who she would roam the world with. Yet such plans hadn’t come to fruitation thanks to the arrival of a certain Shurajo. There really wasn’t a large population of Shurajo, at least not to her knowledge, and with the child being her younger sister by two years, as well as the strong connection she felt for the tiny Shurajo, she had discarded her plans quite easily. It’s how the Zabuza Hideout ended up in its current state, though she wouldn’t tell anyone that she had anything to do with it, but let’s just say that she had to erase any ties to her criminal activities. It had also been the reason why some major families had suddenly been wiped out, these families being Powell’s, Moriarty’s, and Setsuro’s, though she had done it under the guise of wanting to relinquish the hold the criminal world had over the country.

So she indeed understood the feeling, though she hadn’t gone along with it, thus she didn’t judge the Kaguya. Instead, she simply stared at him, giving him a once over with her eyes before fixating them upon his one visible golden eye. She sighed deeply, “I cannot say that I can help you effectively. But I can tell you that if you desire to avoid being hunted down like a dog by the Anbu, that you take up that mission in Snow Country and fake your death.” Chikara said, not immediately jumping to the conclusion that he may want a certain sword that she had used to lope off the head of a certain uncle unknowingly.

“I cannot say that I can help you effectively. But I can tell you that if you desire to avoid being hunted down like a dog by the Anbu, that you take up that mission in Snow Country and fake your death.” Akio was glad that Chikara didn't give him any trouble when he told her about his plans to leave Kiri. Although his plan to actually get help from Chikara did not go as planned. While she did provide some advice Akio was more hoping for something more material. "Okay Chikara, I was trying to dance around the fact, but I saw what Hakai made you do. What I am trying to get at is that I would like the blade you used that day." While Akio wasn't completely sure Chikara had the blade he strongly believed she did. Since Hakai left and would have no need for a second sword he would have most likely left it to Chikara since she was the last person he had encountered before departing.

She stared at Akio for a moment, wondering rather or not she should actually hand over the blade that she had owned since her uncle’s demise, eyes narrowing slightly as she remembered the man that had use to own the relic. She knew exactly where the sword was at the moment, having taken it home on that dreadful day and placing it into her father’s room. That’s where it had been, left untouched for Chikara had very little desire to wield the thing, and even if she did, it would be more of a hindrance than a help at this point in time. Despite the fact that the sword would serve as a reminder to the heinous act she had committed, she didn’t know if she truly wanted it off her hands. She could definitely use it in the future, that’s if she took up Kenjutsu in the years to come. But than again she could possibly never use it, thus allowing the sword to go to waste, that’s if her sister didn’t decide to claim the thing as her own. So perhaps the sword would be good in the hands of Akio, than again he just told her of his plans to leave the village, in which case she wasn’t sure if she wanted to give up the blade.

Sure, the blade could definitely protect Akio, he could also seal it within a scroll to avoid people from easily identifying him, but than again it would be in the hands of an individual that she would have to call an enemy, and giving him a big ass sword that could regenerate itself with the blood of its victims, well that certainly had her thinking twice of this decision. If she gave the sword to him she would have to head home and retrieve it, and thus the painful reminder of that day would no longer be in her abode. But if she lied, well he didn’t get his hands on a sword, she retained ownership of the weapon, and she could see how good she was at lying.

She stuffed her hands into her pockets, tilting her head back as she gazed upwards, eyes unable to pierce the veil of mist. “You have to ask Erwin for it.”

Akio would find himself waiting for Chikara to answer him after telling her what he was after. Which was understandable since Chikara seemed to be a bit upset about killing the man Hakai had unveiled that day. Although the Kaguya grew a bit suspicious as the young red haired girl gave him a rather straight answer. “You have to ask Erwin for it.” Akio hummed softly as he grew a little concerned that she was lying to him, but he would not tell her right away seeing as he might just be paranoid. "Erwin...so he has it now? Could I ask you why you gave it to him?" While he wasn't accusing her of lying Akio surely would prode at her a bit to see if she would slip up a bit in her story. If such a thing were to happen he would be able to call Chikara out for it and therefore she couldn't argue about the blade not being in her possession.

While waiting Akio would hum once more as he looked up at the sky a bit. "Maybe I could offer that old man some ryo for the sword." Now Akio would be slightly hinting that he was offering Chikara some ryo while still being rather vague about the situation. Hopefully the girl could be swayed a bit by the promise of some Ryo.

Chikara found her gazing shifting from the invisible sky back to the face of Akio, a blank expression upon her face though that had been broken by a smirk. “I had no use for the sword and Erwin seemed like a pretty good person to give it to, him being a master when it comes to swords.” She said, continuing with the lie that she had constructed, doing well to make sure there were no holes in it though she knew she wouldn’t catch everything. A perfect lie could be ruined by a simple off-handed comment or slip of the tongue, something which she had learned during her first meeting with Erwin when he had easily seen through her lie.

“I would had held it if I had known that you wanted it, but…” she drifted off, shrugging her shoulders slightly as she tilted her head to the left, eyes closing. “Perhaps he shall give you the sword in exchange for money. He may even give it to you for free, but that’s something you have to discuss with him. Though I would do well not to tell him of your leave, unless he is the sort of person who wouldn’t care so long as your reasons are sufficient.” Her arms dropped to her side as she sighed softly, opening and returning those crimson eyes on Akio, “sorry that I couldn’t help you as much as you had expected.”

“I had no use for the sword and Erwin seemed like a pretty good person to give it to, him being a master when it comes to swords.” Humming once more Akio thought over his course of actions before putting them into full swing. "So...you gave one of Kiri's ancient blades to a man you barely knew. Did this not raise any questions?" Akio asked knowing exactly what Chikara had done with the blade which put it in her possession. However why she could have been telling the truth Akio was not buying it. To do so would put her at risk of being figured out for killing a man that from all Akio knew was innocent. “I would had held it if I had known that you wanted it, but…” Would be the next sentence Akio would confront Chikara on. Although he would wait for Chikara to answer hims before deciding if he would need to actually bring the fact she had trailed off up or not.

While Akio was basically having a mental field day with Chikara he would have to give it to her that she was not making his efforts easy. In fact she was putting up a good argument although every defense has a crack or two and Akio had just pin pointed Chikara's. On the other hand it didn't mean he was home free she could always bounce back with just a few well placed words if she was thinking quick enough.

“I have followed men and women that I didn’t know into battle without so much of a second thought. I have murdered children as well as adults without asking a single question. And became the student of a man without so much as a word, despite having witnessed him slaughter two individuals that should had been considered comrades.” Chikara said, head once again tilted upwards as her eyes stared at the veil of mist. “Knowing these details, it’s quite clear that I don’t ask many questions. Why should I? Are these people not my comrades?” She said, eyes closing as she took a deep breath. He hadn’t accepted the lie like she had hoped, but she wouldn’t tell him the truth, not when she could continue to test out her capabilities to lie through her teeth. “Is there some reason that I shouldn’t had handed over a relic of Kiri to a Kiri shinobi very capable of wielding it? Or are you simply questioning my motives just to question them?” She added, snapping her eyes open but continuing to gaze at the sky, wondering if it would rain, though more so rather Akio would be satisfied with her answer.

Like watching a puppy struggle to pick up a ball too big for his mouth. "That's a nice little speech you gave, but my question was targeted more toward Erwin. Did he not ask where you got the blade from?"

Akio's eyes would narrow a bit as his emotions began to shift a bit. Not even giving Chikara enough time to reply he would let her know his true thoughts. "I don't believe you." While Akio could have toyed with Chikara a bit more he was beginning to get a bit fed up with her lying to him. even though he had no proof Akio thought she was lying to him and he was right. "We both know what you did with that blade and giving Erwin the blade could bring up questions that would lead to him figuring out about that day." Spewing all of his thoughts Akio felt as if he was in the best position possible right now. Although he would not show it on his face in case Chikara had a back up plan.

Chikara chuckled. He had stopped his little attempt to back her into a corner, forcing the truth out of her, choosing to outright call her a liar. He wasn’t wrong about that, she was a liar though one wouldn’t consider her a pathological liar, at least not now, but a nice trait for a liar to have is the ability to continue to stick with the story that had been constructed without fail. He may be onto her little ploy, but that didn’t mean that she would suddenly drop it, spilling the beans of the sword’s location to an individual who had just told her he was leaving the village, regardless if said individual was her teammate. There was no back up plan for the Shurajo, her only plan was to continue to stick to her story and thus continue to lie through her teeth until Akio finally dropped the subject. It was the only option that she had, or at least the only one she decided to pay any attention to, and had been from the moment she had begun the lie.

“Akio, you must think me terribly stupid or incompetent to think I would hand the blade over to a man whilst telling him the specific details of how it landed in my possession. It’s actually funny that you assume that he asked questions rather than simply accept the gift as a kind jester, especially since I had no use for it.” Chikara paused for a brief second, inhaling the cool air and turning her eyes upon the Kaguya. “I am hurt that you would think that I don’t have enough intellect to not allude Erwin to details that I rather stay between those who were present, even more so that you think that I would lie to you, though I am also rather flattered. But most of all, I think you are incredibly stupid. If there must be a question as to how I ended up with the sword, the answer would be simple enough, I got it from Hakai. No other piece of information added, no darker secrets alluded, just a simple and straightforward answer. So unless you have a better reason for not believing me, I say you ask Erwin for that sword.”

Although in his attempt to bounce back he would get lost in his own thought. He had already accepted she was lying and would not be swayed. So therefore he thought about why she wasn't giving it to him. Sure he was leaving, but they were teammates and the Kaguya had truly began to take a liking to Chikara. However at the same time few knew better then Akio to not trust anyone. "Fare enough." Would be the only thing Akio would reply before Chikara continue to speak.

“I am hurt that you would think that I don’t have enough intellect to not allude Erwin to details that I rather stay between those who were present, even more so that you think that I would lie to you, though I am also rather flattered. Plus she should really be complementing herself. "Actually it is quite the opposite Chikara. I think of you as a rather smart individual. After all you are starting to throw me for a loop. Since it seems I can not pry the truth from you I will allow you to keep the sword. However, on the off chance you don't have it anymore and are telling the truth I have something for you."

Mentioning the trinket he was offering Chiakra the Chunin would extend his right pointer finger before forming a ring around his finger from his own bones. As the hole in his skin reformed Akio would pull the ring off before offering the milky white piece of jewelry to Chikara. The ring pictured a small replica of a skull with the bottom portion of it's jaw missing held between two miniature hands. Holding the milky white trinket out to Chikara the Chunin would give her a moment to accept the gift or not. Depending on her choice the ring would either end up in Akio's pocket or in the girl's hand. No matter which he would turn away from her before taking his leave. "Perhaps our paths will cross again in the future. For now, farewell my dear friend."

Chikara continued to give no indication of changing her story, even if Akio was ninety percent sure that he knew that she still had the sword. If not on her, he would definitely think that she knew where it was, but as he had said, prying the truth from her would be impossible. She wanted to laugh, thinking him sweet for saying that he would allow her to retain ownership of the sword, but she didn’t for obvious reasons. She stretched her arm behind her back, eyes still on Akio as she watched him closely. The meeting was coming to a close, he hadn’t gotten what he had come for but he had told her of his leave, so he partially accomplished his goals and thus there was no need for this meeting to continue. She did accept the gift that he had bestowed upon her, and though one would feel a tinge of guilt for having lied to him and accepting a gift from the one that they had lied to, Chikara didn’t allow anything to betray her fake mask of innocence. So she took the ring, stuffing it into her pocket, watching him as he left the scene though not before bidding his farewells once again. She would stand there for a moment, eyes glancing around the ruins of the hideout before she to would head home.
