Three Years of Influence

- Drastically Reduced Crime Rate: Three years of a “no tolerance” approach to Kirigakure’s, and the Land of Water as a whole, criminal organizations has put a severe dent in their presence. As a whole the country is a lot safer and the city is the safest it has been in quite some time, even the former criminal hot spot known as The Rouge Bar has become a symbol of the Administration’s stance against crime and is now considered a family business whose majority of patrons are Shinobi. Even so there are still those that seek to gain a foothold in Kirigakure’s dwindling underground society.
- Expanding Territory: While seeking to eradicate potential threats from the underground the Kirigakure Administration has also sought the complete unification of the Land of Water under Kirigakure’s military banner. For the most part they have been successful, seizing numerous territories from corrupt warlords and officials while annexing those that willingly chose to follow their rule. For the time being the Water Daimyo is still in charge, but there are plans in the making to usurp the throne and militarize the entire country under Kirigakure’s banner.
- Public Approval & Bolstered Economy: Even with, or perhaps due to, expanding military control the average citizens of the Land of Water have shown great appreciation for the Administration’s efforts to make the country a safer place, regulate fair wages, enforce fair and ethical treatment, and promote job hunting agencies to find the best individuals for the company’s needs. With this not only Kirigakure’s but the entire country’s economy has been improved dramatically, people are proud to be citizens of this fair city again.
- Reclaiming History: Efforts have been made to reclaim some of the Land of Water’s lost and/or destroyed history. Primary focal points for the Historical Reclamation Act include rebuilding the ancient Kaguya temple, unearthing its secrets, and tracking down the seven legendary blades to procure them for city use.
- No Longer A Terror: The dark reputation surrounding Kirigakure’s military has faded dramatically over the years. They may be merciless and they may do deeds out of necessity that would likely be considered dark or evil by the general public should they come to light but abuse of power is taken very seriously by the new Kirigakure Administration headed by Erwin Ekkehard. As a result the public has become less fearful of the military and the military itself has become an integral part of society that many citizens aspire to be a part of in their own way.
