A Simple Tour [Resting Topic|Hitomi]

"Of course we are friends." Lavii would say to Hitomi as they walked. He had almost forgotten to answer her question and they had come this far. "Sorry I spaced out a bit and had forgotten that you had said something about us being friends." The more they walked the closer the Uchiha compound got. Only a select group were even able to enter the cornered of district and Hitmoi was going to be the groups newest inductee whether she knew it or not. When they reached the Strongholds Gates Lavii would look back to Hitomi and smile. "For some reason I'm getting this feel that I should bring you here, as you know many outsides minus certain higher up Shinobi have never even been in here. I feel like we are going to have a strong bond..." Lavii stopped and rubbed the back of his head and laughed awkwardly. It took me a moment, but he had realized what it was tha the had said and was slightly embarrassed. "Or something. I don't know where it was I was going with this." No one really knew this because Lavii never has gotten close to anyone minus his Brother Siegfried, but Lavii had a whole different side when he was completely comfortable around someone. Lavii would approach the gate and blink activating his sharingan. He would approach the scanner to the left of the gate and hold his eye open wide. The scanner would activate and send a red light across his eye and retina. After the light had disappeared it analyzed the data it had just received before making a beeping sound in conformation of Lavii's Sharingan. The gate would then proceed to open. Lavii would then deactivate his sharingan and enter the compound. "No one will say anything as long as you're with me, but um Welcome to the Uchiha Stronghold." Lavii said looking back at Hitomi with a smile.

She blinked for a moment at his chatter for a while and smiled a bit. "Indeed, still it's great to meet someone of your stature and attitude. It's very interesting...curious in a way." She shrugged as she watched him go up to the gate and open it. "Strong bond hmm? That's a strong word, but I agree I feel potential for us in the near future. Even so this is my first time coming here, the only other time I was even close to seeing beyond these gates was when Soma...sensei..." She paused for a moment to think to herself and then shook her head with smile once more. "N-nothing, let's just go in..." She shook her head as she walked in beside him.

She looked around in curiosity and awe, it was like a whole other seperate village to it's own. "Woah, so...peaceful and beautiful." She mentioned quietly to herself as she looked around. She barely even wanted to blink, even the people themselves were at peace it seemed and it didn't help that they also share the beauty as well. She had to look away occasionally just to stop a slight blush to her face only for it to fade away. She smiled calmly up to him as she carried on along the path. "Thank you for bringing me here, this is amazing, I couldn't imagine this place if I tried." She laughed a bit and then looked up ahead. "So where exactly are we going, I mean I need to recover my chakra so obviously it has to be a quelled and quiet place." She noted to him in curiosity and question.

"My stature?" Lavii would mumble to himself as they walked. Lavii had expected her response for the most part up until she had said the name Soma. It was most defiantly a familiar name like he had heard the name somewhere before, but where? He knew it was a name from his childhood, but why couldn't he remember.Suddenly the vision of a man popped into his head. "That's why I know the name. Uncle Soma, but he..." Lavii wasn't necessarily talking to were no one could hear his word, so Hitomi could hear that he said the late Soma Uchiha was his Uncle. The rumors were that he did on a mission, but Lavii never believed that because Soma and his Father Hyuu were two of the strongest Uchiha during their time. Lavii had begun thinking about his late Uncle up until Hitomi said 'let's go in' those words pulled Lavii from his thoughts as they continued to walk. Lavii would look over to Hitomi every now and again to see her completely drawn into the stronghold. He often found himself just looking out over the compound. It was amazing how a place like this existed within the village walls. "It's because we have a strict set of rules to ensure that it stays peaceful, and most of all everyone he respects each other." Lavii would continue to walk and not even notice that Hitmoi was blushing and looking at him. Lavii laughed when Hitomi Thanked him. "No problem at all and I'm pretty sure a lot of people feel that way." Lavii would blink and scratch his cheek with his index finger at the question of Hitomi. "Um well about that...my home. It's right ahead." Lavii would point to a large old style Japanese House that was a few meters away from the duo.

She barely heard his words at first, trying to block the name out of her mind for the while, not wanting to bring forth that sad time once more to ruin such a nice day with a friend. It was obviously a sour topic that had her re-think her words to avoid at all times. "Such a close family yet so large and well known, I wish my own family would have the same for their own. Such respect and diligence to learn from generations, history amongst the present and yet geared to the future. It's like a dream..." She smiled softly as she looked around at the families all interacting with one another with kindness and respect.

It wasn't that she wanted this kind of family, but that her own family were part of this, to be safe and secure. It was like there was no such thing as wars or fighting only calm. She nodded to him about his explanation as to why but didn't seem to look up at him only straight ahead. "Hard to say a lot when so many cause the world deep grief, it's no wonder this place is protected. It's like a sanctuary of bliss..." She place one of her hands on her cheek to try to calm down as she sighed out. Once she noticed what he said she looked towards where he pointed to and saw the home. She blinked for a moment then nodded calmly. "Well alright then, it's a very beautiful home...much different from my own. Do you live with your parent's as well?" She asked looking up to him with a smile in curiousness.

"Our clan was just fortunate enough to have survived the Waring Clans Era." Lavii paused and continued to listen to Hitomi; she was in complete awe of how the Uchiha had carried themselves. "We are even more fortunate that we had Madara the man who was once the best friend of Lord Hashirama. Those two cultivated this Stronghold as well as the Leaf." Lavii then began to reflect on his clans dark and blood filled past. "We are not without our own demons. This peace can be easily disrupted by a single Uchiha or even a outsider." A smile would remain on Lavii's face, but it had shown pain. Yes it was a smile of pain. Lavii laughed to himself once more at the reaction of Hitomi when he described where the two of them would be going. "Well you could say that I own the house now seeing as I uphold the primary care of it." Without realizing it Hitomi had hit on a semi sensitive subject. Lavii however did not show this in his demeanor until he would say something about his Father. "Well my Mother lives here and well..." Lavii would get a slight look of anger deep in his eyes as his expression and the air around him changed. "My Father isn't around at the moment..." When he said not around Lavii really meant that the man known as Hyuu was banished from this place. He had been run from this village due to the plans he had. "The history of this clan is doomed to repeat itself." He did not mean to sound cliched, but it was the truth; the Uchiha Clan had a troubled past and could not escape it no matter how many generations passed there was always going to be something dark that showed itself to those who bear the name Uchiha. Lavii could feel his changed demeanor and wipe it away with a smile. "My mom is kinda goofy so don't mind her. Also if she says anything crazy please don't mind her." Lavii said with a bow. It was like a classic comedy moment. Lavii stood back up straight and continued to walk until they had reached the front gate of the walls that surrounded his home. "What about you? Do you live with your Mother and Father?" Lavii would ask while opening the gate allowing Hitomi to enter his yard before him.

Madara, she hadn't thought of the name until she remembered those being used as stories near her home to scare children to bed. So he was a real person, a living being that is reserved as a hero to some or an enemy to others. How amazing time passes yet the name still goes on. "As I've heard, and yet somehow this place returns to peace even after that hell...unlike my own." She looked down for a moment to think before looking up to him. "I see, i'm...so very sorry. But at least your mother is here for you, here to protect you as a mother should." She smiled trying to keep the situation light hearted. She didn't want to dwell on the past or issues that stung like a needle.

"Repeat itself...I see...it sounds sad, isn't there some sort of way to stop it?" She asked looking to him with some hope before hearing on about his mother. "She couldn't be any more goofy than my father...he doesn't even speak, well not anymore...But even when his mind was reduced to that of a toddler my mother still cared for him, me and my little brother." She paused, even if that were sad she still smiled gently, because it was also a happy thought to know her mother's care.

"My mother is a tailor you see, and my father...was...a shinobi. My younger brother is in the academy so he hopes to aid the family as I do in defending. Still...I wish someday or somehow my father would remember who he was...at least a little." She mentioned looking away and tugging on her own arm tightly. Seems both sides had family issues but one was mistrust to the other was calamity. "I also once had an elder sister as well but...well may her ashes rest in Suna's sand dunes as she wished." She mentioned thinking on and sighing out calmly.

Lavii nodded to the words of Hitmoi as he walked into the yard behind her. "Well not all of us think like that, but every now and again you have someone with the mind set of power above all else." Lavii was struck by his own words as they made him think about his Father and how Hyuu had treated Lavii as a child. Lavii could hear a change in tone when Hitomi mentioned her own families situation. He frowned slightly, but nothing noticeable. "Well it's the other way around now that I'm older." Lavii would answer with a smile and slight chuckle. Lavii would look up into the air as Hitomi asked if the trend could be stopped. "To be honest I'm not really sure. All we can do as a Clan no as a Family is continue to grow, and maybe one day people would see that this clan actually values love over everything. Many do not know this, but our Doujutsu is based around love. It's kinda hard to explain though." Hitomi's statement started of slightly light hearten, but as she continued Lavii felt more remorseful for even bringing up the topic of her parents. It appeared he Father's mental state had been severely damaged at one point. It was most likely to happen while he was out on a mission. Hitomi began to talk about her sister; it took Lavii a moment or two to figure out what she meant. Her sister ashes had been emptied in the wind and spread across the sands of Sunagakure. Lavii would walk up to stand next to Hitomi. "I am truly sorry for your loss." The air about Lavii became a light one again as his eyes began shifting around the yard. He was scooping to see if his mother was around and luckily she wasn't out here. "Well welcome to my home." Lavii was walking along the path that cut through the large yard and lead to his front door. "There is always a silver lining." Lavii said with a smile and looking back to Hitomi.

She nodded to him for a moment hearing him out on his explanation. "Yes, I suppose some families go through that more often than need be. But yes, all families need to grow and mature." She paused sighing out for a moment still a bit down before hearing him out once more. "Wait, your clan values love?" She paused feeling curious now, she didn't really notice the rest of his words as he continued on only serving to want her to ask. "What do you mean? Please, explain it to me...it's...interesting to hear that."

She looked around at the yard for a moment sighing out and beginning to smile once more. "Yes, indeed there is, even if it isn't silver..." She mentioned looking around and nodding her head down to him. "It's amazing and and thank you for allowing me to be here." She mentioned, seems she held high respects for clans. She barely acknowledged others until they were given trust but to her, those of their families within their clans are tightly knitted threads and she felt that if one family sees they are to protect each other than the other could trust them enough. "She was a good shinobi, but enough on her...so then where to now? Within your homestead...I am lost because I don't know this place. Please escort me around if you may."

"Well Like I said I don't really know how to explain it. Well that's not true; I do, but that would require me telling you about our eyes as well as a history lesson..." Lavii paused thinking about what it was that he was saying. If there was one thing that outsiders did not need to know it was about their Sharingan. He began to try and think of ways to try and explain it without revealing information that Hitomi had no need in knowing. Lavii like most Uchiha had many things in common and being secretive was one thing. Lavii was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he did not hear the statements that came from Hitomi, however his body moved on its own causing him to nod and make noises as if saying yes. Without really even realizing it Lavii had walked to the side of the house where there was a porch of sorts along with another large yard, and a single tree along with a small zen garden. At this point Lavii was moving and speaking off of instinct. He had gotten this 'skill' from his Mother who could become so wrapped up in her thoughts that she could still talk and move as if she wasn't. It was odd to say the least and not really explainable, but Lavii was doing it once more. "We can sit here. I find it to be the most calming place in the house." Lavii would sit down still thinking about how to tell Hitmoi his clan valued love over all. "Well Madara wanted to put the world in a infinte genjutsu because this world was so full of pain, grief, and war that if he were to do that it could be the perfect world were someone can be with their loved ones forever. His methods were off and the idea was something that this world needed, but looking back on it he lost his brother and had a falling out with his best friend. He must not have wanted anyone else to have to experience that pain. He isn't the only Uchiha to do something drastic based on the idea of love." Lavii said while sitting down. He finally managed to get it out without telling Hitomi anything about the Sharingan. He would look at he and smile. "Did that answer your question?"

She nodded to him smiling. "I have time, even so just tell me what you feel serves right. I'm not part of your clan so I feel it fair to only tell me what you and your clan see fit to." She went on. She looked around at the garden and nodded to him once they were escorted there. "I agree, let's sit here...you can explain the story how you like." As she sat down she took in a breath of air then sighed out before looking to him and listening to the story. As he finished up she was a bit in shock from the look of it.

"That's nothing like I have been told...but if that's true, it would have been a wonderful idea however even I myself who wants to protect my family...even I know that all of us thrive on living through pain, getting through torment in order to be stronger and to learn and grow." She looked down for a moment and paused. She wasn't sure what to say to this. "The stories I learned were to him being a cruel man whom caused wars...destruction...and pain long past. I suppose then just like any legend, they were once like us...no, they are like us...all of us. Trying to seek peace in different methods for the world. "

She looked back up to him with a solemn expression. "I'm deeply sorry for my misunderstanding, now. I guess I know why my old sensei was the way he was...you mentioned something about him but I never caught it. Soma, who was he to you? Because to me, even if he was my sensei, I felt like...like he was a second father from how much he cared." She mentioned softly as she tried to think on it for a happier mood and not a depressed kind.

Lavii would hold up his hands and shake his head. "No, It's alright. He should not have done what he did; he caused many people to pass away due to his selfishness." Selfish was a good word for the Uchiha of years passed and the same could be said even now in this days and age. The Uchiha were seen as monstrous people for many different reasons. Lavii was trying to change the entire worlds view of his clan, but it was a long and almost near impossible task. There would always be prejudice towards the Uchiha regardless of what someone could do. Lavii looked away from Hitomi for a moment; he thought that he looked normal, but a depressed aura encased him as he placed his hands on the porch and slouched over; he did this in a comedic manner however so it wasn't something so serious that he needed to be consoled. Lavii would return to normal when Hitomi mentioned Soma. "Really? You two must've had a strong bond. Soma was my Father's Brother, so he was my Uncle..." Lavii would pause realizing that he had made that far more difficult than it needed to be. "Guess I could've just said he was my uncle." These words would come out mumbled, so Hitmoi wouldn't be able to know what he said, unless she was paying close attention to the Uchiha. Lavii began remembering about his Uncle and the last time he seen him; at least it was a good memory unlike the last memory that he had of Hyuu.

She nodded calmly to him for a moment and sighed. "Still even after so many died..." She paused rolling her legs up to her chest and thinking. There was a soft wind going on throughout, the day was bright and it showed, even in a depressing mood it somehow gave an uplifting feeling. "I guess in someway I once felt the same...I had to face reality though. I could have easily incased myself and my family away, being just about as selfish to keep my ijutsu uses to them and I..." She sighed laying her hands down to either side of herself and looking out to the garden as she gave out a small smile. "Weird, how death can teach someone about the world..." She shrugged looking back over to him and listening in, at first she took it in calmly but was a bit shocked for a moment.

"Y-you're uncle? He was part of your close family? Can you tell me about him, please...I want to know what happened to him before his days of jounin." She asked to him, nearly pleading as it would seem. "He told me only bits and pieces, but he understood what I meant. If not for him I'd be shelled away still, far to closed to still talk to others. H-he...understood betrayal...and how much it hurts." She was nearly on her toes to hear anything on her late sensei, this new alone was shocking enough to her, she didn't even seem to take her eyes off him, as if like an excited child awaiting for their favorite story to be told. As odd as it seemed she tried to inch closer just to hear anything at all. "Please...even if it seems like it would be stupid to say, I want to know."

Lavii would not do anything, but sit there and listen to the words of Hitomi while looking out into the yard. While he looked out into the yard Lavii would see a younger version of himself breathing heavily and looking completely exhausted. Lavii moved his head to the left and would see Hyuu standing there. This yard was full of memories of Hyuu. The deep conversation came to a sudden and abrupt stop when Hitmoi learned of Lavii's relation to Soma. Lavii would find himself in shock to Hitomi's sudden change in attitude. He had no idea that the bond they shared was this deep with on another to were she would be so excited to meet one of his family members. The uchiha man would quickly put his hands up in front of himself as Hitomi began to inch closer and closer; at this point she was hanging on his every word regarding Soma. "You know I'm not that old right. So even if I could tell you things which I mean he's told me some stories of him and my Father over the years. I was still a child so it's not like I'm going to remember every little thing. I mean when he became a Jounin he was always gone. I can say that him and my father both were two completely different people when they were younger than how they are now." Lavii had been leaning back while he was talking because Hitmoi kept inching closer and closer in anticipation of more information about Soma. She had gotten far to closer and it made Lavii feel uneasy. No one really got this close to him in a casual setting; he could explain it but it was just weird to have someone all in your face. Like the air that Hitmoi would exhale Lavii might inhale. These thoughts among others were running rampant in the head of the Uchiha. He was leaning back so much that he did not feel himself slowly begin to fall off of the porch.

She sighed slacking back with some embarrassment as she held onto her arm. "S-sorry, it's just when my own dad was rendered unable to be one...I got attached to him as if he were my father. I just wanted to know about him, make him proud in a way..." She barely took the time to try to rethink things when she noticed him just about to fall off. She then yelled out to him. "Watch out!" Before grabbing his arms quickly to try to pull him back upright and away from the fall. She continued on to holding him up until she knew he wasn't to fall again. "Oh my-I...I'm so sorry, really I didn't mean to cause that!" She said quickly in a worried sense looking right at him.

Once he was deemed safe she looked to his arms and let go quickly pulling her arms to her chest and looking down nearly seeming to bow her head to him but rather she was trying to hide her blush of embarrassment. "Sorry again!" She blurted out not sure what the situation became what it was but it had obviously become awkward and odd feeling. She looked barely back out to the garden and mentioned in a quiet tone to herself in her mind. "Maybe...maybe I should leave, I'm just making things awkward." She went on as she thought more on it with unsureness. She wanted to know more, and to rest with her friend but making her own friend tell her something they didn't know was fruitless and even selfish in a way, she knew she'd be better off leaving off the subject and quite possibly trying to avoid it from then on. She just wanted to know things that no one seemed able to answer for her, and it left her in the dark most of the time. What was her sensei like, why did her first teammate leave, why most all of her friends just up and disappear without a second glance.

Lavii blinked a few times; he was still falling yet he continued to talk. He was in his thoughts so much that he still haden't noticed that he was slowly falling. "I didn't know you felt that strongly about Soma." Lavii would say finally noticing that he was falling from the porch, at least until Hitmoi would grab his arms and pull him back up. It took her a long time to let Lavii go; he would just sit there looking at his arms and Hitmoi while blinking. It was like he was saying 'are you gonna let me go?'. Lavii waved his hand in front of his face. "It's ok you didn't mean to." Lavii started to laugh at Hitmoi's reaction. It was funny to see her panic like she did. Lavii would make sure he was balanced on the porch before turning and looking up into the sky; it was beautiful. The sun was starting to set, so the sky was a mixed color filled with oranges, purples, reds, and yellows. It was amazing to see the sky become a new 'painting' everyday like it did. "Well from what I've been told he has been strong his whole life. Only to be rivaled by my Father. Their generation of Uchiha is one of the greatest; spawning Garuda, The late Clan Head, my Uncle Soma, and my Father Hyuu. I'm sure I'm missing some people, but they were like the big three." Lavii paused to allow Hitmoi to take in the information. "He was goofy and wasn't as serious as he had become when he got older. Him, my Father, and Garuda used to get in all kinds of mischief when they were around each other. Even though Garuda only came around when the old clan head held the clan meetings here...Sorry I can't tell you a lot. If only we could erectness the dead huh? Then you could ask him whatever questions you wanted..."

She nodded calmly ensuring his information on her bond once before. It was already bad enough to lose her father figure in her father, but a second father figure all together in someone else hurt just about as bad. Like losing a family member, which is why she kept it deeply felt. She took a while to try to fix her embarrassed moment before noticing him looking off.  She followed where she thought he was looking at and just stared off in confusion, what was it she wondered as she looked around curiously. However he seemed to begin the chat once more, this time with actual information as she immediately turned her head to him and listened in on it intently but not overbearingly as before. So he was the clan head which she knew but he was rivaled by his brother being a near equal. That, she didn't know much about. She was amazed at the thought, how powerful they once were together in a group. Then the more personal matters of day to day life rather than legends, It was just as he was. Mischievous and yet serious, all wrapped into someone she knew. She smiled a bit at the thought, how odd he was and that even though he could be serious he still had fun as each day went on.  Still, it was nice to hear it, hear about him and though not everything it was still quite a lot. She couldn't help but smile and closed her eye imagining back into the days of her early genin years.

Feeling so away from others, shelled off and forced herself to be alone and away. Just this small girl who couldn't trust others and would act mean or threatening when one would come by to even try to greet her. She was alone because she made it so, although it hurt and she wanted to enjoy herself she felt if she did she'd just cause harm to her family, her broken family that was. With her mother busy tending to her father in his once coma-like state and her little brother far too young to be a shinobi, hidden away from fear he could be harmed. She was the only ninja in the household, and the one to do the work in a sense to get money. It was Soma who was to be her sensei as per chosen, and of course she was very reluctant and even when he came near she fought him back trying to somehow prove her point. But as soon as she tired rather than scold her as she hoped, she was consoled. A hand patting her head and words of wisdom to bring her up, just as her own father once did for her. She was hesitant but soon grew on him and felt the need to make him proud, not as a student to a teacher but almost like a daughter without blood relation. Even when another joined in the team she seemed to grow on them like a friend and it was a peaceful and happy time.

That was until the event of the swordsman from kiri visited Konoha, ruining the face, pummeling cities, and even with the help of a head medical-nin and some of the strongest shinobi at that time, he was dead and there was no changing that. But it's not his death she dwelled on but his life, how quickly she had changed from the lonely child into an opened eggshell. Peeking into the world in curiosity and wonder. That's what she remembered, how she first broke her shell to live life. She hadn't said much at all during the story but she smiled and nodded looking on to the garden and holding her hand to her face just near her eyes. Part of no clan, yet shared by many, and was able to see as clear as the blue sky that painted her own eyes and those eyes were opened when she had him help her.

Suddenly Lavii's Mother would appear behind the two of them. She had been taking a nap when she woke up to hear Lavii's voice outside. It appeared he was talking to someone and Naomi did not recognize the voice. She would move through their home and find Lavii sitting outside on the porch. He was still talking and appeared to be encompassed in his conversation, so much so he did not notice her approach. Naomi would sneak up behind Lavii and tackle him off of the porch. "LAVIIII~" Lavii would find himself in the air and approaching the ground rapidly. He had not realized what blunt force had propelled him from the porch until he heard his name. It was his overly excited mother. Lavii would turn his body so that he nor his Mother would be harmed by the fall. Lavii looked at his Mother with a stale expression which caused her to pout. "You leave all day and then this is how you great your Mother?!" Naomi would say still pouting, but standing up. Lavii would stand up after his Mother and dust himself off. "Good Afternoon. This is Hitmoi she was my Uncle Soma's old student, Hitomi this is my Mother Naomi." Lavii would say while looking between the two of them. Naomi would smile gently at Hitomi. "Hello Hitomi it is nice to meet you. I'm amazed that Soma had a student still around." Naomi did not mean anything bad. She was just blunt.

As she saw the woman tackle him she got up immediately in surprise and shock and went into a fighting position nearly ready to attack when she stopped and heard the woman speak and sighed in a bit of relief as she eased her pose once more. Once the two had stood up she looked at them over the porch and barely waved to them both as he explained herself to his mother. "Hello there..." She seemed still a bit shocked but happy for the most part, that is until she mentioned her being the only one around.

She knew Naomi didn't mean anything by it but it still stung pretty hard as it was. Be that as it may she shouldn't stop to remember such things, all it does is hurt. The other student he had Rias seemed so helpful and friendly, even as young as she was she even had a small crush on him, but it was crushed itself when he disappeared forever out of the village. Not even a word about him, just gone like snow in the winter to the spring. She shook her head from the thought and jumped down too them, just to join in. "So um, Lavii was telling me about Soma, It's refreshing to hear such good things..." She mentioned smiling a bit once more.

Naomi would smile at Hitomi as she spoke about being able to hear more about Soma. "Well maybe I can tell you some more about him. I have known him since we ere children after all." Lavii would walk into the house without a word in order to get some drinks for the two women. Naomi would walk back over to the porch so that she could sit down. The way Naomi walked was nothing short of refined she had a powerful presence when Lavii wasn't around. She would pat the porch next to her; telling Hitomi to come have a seat, so that they could talk. "So Hitomi, what would you like to know about Soma?" Naomi would ask with a smile. If there was anyone who could answer the questions Hitomi wanted to know it was Naomi.

She looked to Lavii leaving and was a bit curious where he was going to, as she looked back up to Naomi and heard her explain herself. "R-really, You know more?" She asked her in some excitement like a child. She then followed her over to sit down and look at her as she pressed her fingers together in some nervousness, She sat down as per mentioned and then listened in. "Well, I mean...What was he like before becoming a jounin...and...what happened to him to make him understand."

She paused a moment sighing out calmly. "To make him understand what betrayal meant. I know that's a hard question a-and you don't have to answer it it's just..." She paused stopping her sentence off to see what her response would be. She didn't want to come off needy or desperate but she was. Let alone cause open wounds to re-open more, but she kinda was. In a way she felt sorta selfish for asking on it but she really honestly wanted to know. Maybe for closure, or perhaps to learn a lesson, maybe to just know him as he was. Whatever the cause she still wanted to know about him and his life.

Naomi's demeanor would become more serious she knew full well what kind of man Soma was more than anyone else. Even her own son did not know some things about him. He had a dark side, but who didn't. It was the curse of the Uchiha after all. "Well Soma wasn't to much different. Actually his was probably the completely different when he was younger than his later days. He was so kind and light hearted. He was constantly smiling, but that changed when he was a chunin. You want to know the reason he knew betrayal so well? Well that is because he was forced to do something that ultimately changed him. A lot of people have forgotten, but Hyuu was not Soma's only sibling. They had a sister. She was older than the two of them, and always had a agenda. I don't know what exactly happened but he was forced to kill her because she was plotting against us, her clan, our home." Lavii would have returned by now with some tea for both of the women. He did not speak a word, but simply handed them the drinks. Despite what his Mother thought Lavii knew all to well what Soma had done in the past. "Ah Thank you Lavii." Naomi would take the drink and take a single sip and gave a sigh of relief. "Woo~ That hits the spot. Atta boy Lavii." Naomi would smile big and pat her son on his head as he sat down. She had switched of her seriousness and powerful presence once Lavii came around. Only for it to be replaced by Lavii's powerful presence. "Aww don't look like that Hitomi dear. Soma was a fine man, shinboi, brother, and Uncle. He always looked out for his older brother and his nephew."

She looked to her listening in intently to the conversation upon his past. It was calming to hear that at least his childhood wasn't too damaged however his years as to being a chuunin were not only surprising but shocking to her. He had another sibling, a sister and she planned to go against the village. She took a moment to think things through and take it in. She had blinked for a moment in shock as she looked down and placed a hand on the wooden surface to seem to keep her stable as she gulped back some air.

She looked to the drinks for a moment, she wanted to thank him but seemed unable to form the words to do so as she took a moment to look up with Naomi trying to comfort her. It wasn't that he had to kill her or the fact of how dark of a task it was. It was the betrayal itself, the fact his own sister went against him. She only went to glance back down to the drink to look at herself. "So...she...he really did know, and he did something about it." She mentioned in a very quiet voice as she looked down. Outside she seemed fine and calm but inside she was screaming, anger was in her as if to beat herself up over it. "Then why couldn't I do the same, I could have stopped her but I wasn't strong enough." She said in her head as she thought on about it. It's no wonder she was able to share a common thought, such a deep one at that to him.

He knew more on it and how to treat it better than she ever could. "He was a great shinobi as well...and though his death was horrible. He deserved an honorable one on the battlefield." She hesitantly said taking a moment to recover her thoughts as she went to drink. She still though had that thought itching at her, if anything were to poke it now she'd quite possibly burst with confusion and shock. However just as she was ready to take a sip she heard something rumble off in the distance. She turned towards it to see a small flash of lightening off in the distance, so small that most wouldn't notice it at first.

Naomi seemed to be in a blissful state while Lavii sat next to her and as she sipped on her tea. Naomi was not one to dwell in negative emotions, so she would hope Hitomi got the vibes that she was sending out. She could tell Hitomi was a creature of habit; that habit being sadness. From the actions and demeanor after of the young kunoichi she could tell she had a hard childhood, or rather life in general. Lavii would be sitting in silence allowing his Mother and Hitomi to continue talking. He would be looking into the sky and notice some lightning off in the distance; was it about to rain or was this some kind of omen for something to be. "Don't stress over the past Hitomi. Nothing can be changed about it so why worry about it. A wise man once said never burden your remembrance with the tragedies of yesterday, err something like that." Namoi would take another sip of her tea. she continued to smile and hope that Hitomi could snap out of her negative emotions about things she can not control; life was hard and it there was never gonna be a time when it was just easy, but Hitmoi was still young, so she would learn eventually.

She nodded too her for a moment looking down for a moment to sigh. She didn't want to force them into a depressed state, let alone herself hating it. She then heard Naomi talk about a quote and nodded to her calmly as she tried to pick herself back up, how rude of herself to whine and cry of her own woe when this was their family and they barely blinked an eye to it. She didn't listen in to much for a while, she even had sat her cup down to look to the skies darkening from the oncoming rain storm. "Y-Yes ma'm...i-it's just I..." She paused looking at the lightning coming on overhead as she seemed to scoot back from it. Her eyes traced the clouds and became smaller in pupils, signaling fear.

"I n-need to leave..." She mentioned quietly as she got up from her seat, accidentally toppling her cup over, rather than say sorry she just seemed to back away from the storm, more and more. Eventually the rumble of the thunder echoed and shook her up as she jumped a bit and still tried to avoid it. "W-where's the exit...?" She asked quietly trying to turn her head away from the storm to try to start running, she could easily be stopped but she was frantic and panicked. One could try to tell her to just get over her fears, but how does one get over a 10 year phobia that's been ongoing in paranoia.

Naomi quickly took notice of the distress bubbling over in Hitomi. She also noticed it was happening the more the lightning and thunder would sound in the distance. She realized that the girl would be running in the storm terrified. "Lavii stop her quick before she leaves!" Lavii would nod to his mother and dart towards Hitomi grabbing her by the arm and picking her up. "Hitomi calm down." Lavii's voice was calming but Naomi doubted it would do much in this situation. "Lavii bring her inside she has a phobia of lightning and by her reactions it is deeply rooted. It's going to take a long while for her to get over it." Lavii nodded and began trying to bring Hitomi inside of the house in order to get her out of the storm. Naomi looked at Hitomi with a concerned look. What made this girl so afraid of a simple storm. Naomi was going to have to find out more about this girl. Naomi was a woman who cared deeply for the 'damaged'; being more specific the more emotionally or mentally damaged people. She was going to get to the bottom of Hitomi's fears even if she had to restrain the young woman.
