"Nezumi-sama it's time", came a voice from behind. It had been sometime since the last Mizukage had commited suicide in his office unbenounced to anyone in Kirigakure no Sato, the land had become barren and the pitiful people had lost there will to take pride in the village. The many towns and cities tucked in the crevices of this land, uncontrolled by any formal power had all gone to the underbelly of society. Criminals ran rampant within the village and it was now time for it to come to an end. Nezumi had not yet established his name within the village, yet he was solely the last naturalized ninja within the village who could fulfill the role of guiding the village to new hopes. It was really something, standing here, a cigarette in his mouth, simply looking out the large window at the rear of his office. Yet this had not been his office three days ago. This office had only belonged to the very few, and his ability to walk in and out of it freely was an honor that only the highest of Kirigakure ninja could achieve.
There had to be well over nine tenths of the village present for this. It was possible to say everyone was there, but unfortunately plausibility and possibility were two different things. It was the first time Nezumi had seen the the villagers so jovial, the crowd was laughing, talking amongst each other, and overall having a good time. It had only been a week since Nezumi had announced his plan for action for the village. He took it upon himself to take claim for the Mizukage position and address the follies of the the last kage and how he would expand from those idiotic ideals and bring about a new 'will of the mist' to the village. They were ready to believe and he was ready to provide them with a new glory that would enthuse everyone to take pride in Kirigakure no Sato and to take pride in being a Mist-man. It was time, his inauguration as the Le Sovranità or The Sovereign One, Nezumi Kotonashi, the defining moment that would ultimately change the destiny of Kirigakure forever. The people rejoiced, enemies cast aside their grudges, if only for this day, to behold the event.
A huge platform had been built in the center of the village, where Nezumi, along with other officials would stand, and deliver speeches. Rooftops were filled as the streets got full, banners hung across the village and posters were posted on every street corner, and the food and refreshments (Especially alcohol) were being consumed throughout the streets. Nezumi approached the podium in -awwwww- of how joyful everyone had become. He disregarded all the work that had to be done and filled his mind with this amazing moment. His deep baritone echoed as he muttered into the microphone,
