[A] Teams and Squads

Teamwork is an essential part of the Shinobi world, and a staple in every village. The camaraderie built and the bonds established are strong and enduring, withstanding the test of time and providing those that wield it an undeniable sense of warmth and reinforcement. Such groups are usually designed to compliment each other, with each component member being unique and versatile in some way. Several types of groups have been established within current times:

Squad - Universal: A squad is a two man cell, designed for infiltration and covert actions. A squad can have no more than 2 members, and can be of any rank.

Teams - Specific: A team is a group of individuals formed for mission and training orientated purposes. They consist of a 3 to 4 man cell, with 1 to 2 higher rank, and the remaining low rank (D and C Rank).

Unit - Universal: Units are groups of similar ranked individuals, between 3 and 5, (all within 1 rank of each other), units are often created for military purposes, invasions, defense, large scale assaults etc etc.

Troop - Specific: Troops are specifically created groups that range from 4 to 6 individuals all with common specialties and attributes. A sensory troop, medical, etc etc. These like minded individuals have specific tasks and goals to accomplish.

Organization - Universal: Organizations are large scale operational corps that have a common goal/theme/mindset. They can be broken down into specific Teams or Squads, but the group as a whole benefits from such actions. Even more so with all the members act to accomplish the same task.



For those wondering what's the big deal about teams and squads, it's the fact that any RP completed with the entire team or squad present will yield a scaling multiplier for all participants. Consider it a "partner bonus" of sorts.

A group (team or squad) of two members will yield a multiplier of x2; a group of three members will yield a multiplier of x3; and so on and so forth, with the maximum multiplier being x7.

Teams operating outside of an organization's control (being as how your team, under an organization's influence, can shift based on your boss's desires) are those who have been together for quite some time, be it a pair of missing-ninja or a group of four samurai.

These players should have an extensive resume with each other (at least four threads of teamwork being demonstrated with all members of the "squad" present and active). Before the bonus can be claimed or earned. And this must continue in the future as well.

Finally, such activities can be tied together. A Troop of Hunter Ninja can track down a Bijuu for example, the unit can help capture it, a sealing troop can seal it, if they are all members of an organization, that benefits as well. These can be stringed together, to give very large stackable bonuses.

Simply jumping in a thread with another player and completing a task does not meet the requirement for the quadruple EXP bonus.

You'll also need to make a little note in the last post of the thread so the moderator grading the thread knows to give each writer their bonus EXP. This is your job to remember, not the moderators' job!
