Description: Out on sharkbait lake there has been a distrubance. It seems that a particular large and angry bull shark has been causing trouble out on the lake. Sinking boats and attacking the few fisher men that go there. It has eluded all efforts to be capture by normal means. The fisher guild will allow you to borrow one of there elite fishing boats for this mission. Your task is to capture it and kill it, least it cause more harm. The shark has been described as such:
-Large almost about fifteen feet long.
-Has a distinct ruddy red color top and a white bottom.
-Also has a large scar running from its snout to its dorsail fin.
Conditions:
1. Capture and kill the shark as fast as you can.
2. Do not damage the boat or let the shark do any serious damage to the boat.
To most the continuous back and forth motion of the small shipping vessel that Ōsharu had been lent for his current mission would bring about a terrible case of seasickness as it battled the waves of Kirigakure. Ōsharu sat at the base of the mast undisturbed by the crew members that traveled back and forth to maintain the ships safety, he, on the other hand, was reading over a scroll containing the details of his latest mission. During these moments Ōsharu typically gained a tunnel vision type of effect where his mission was at his center of focus. "It appears I'm going hunting for the scarred beast.. As soon as the Captain--" The Captain of the ship shook Ōsharu from his thoughts and directed his attention to the crew member sitting in the nest. "Oi! Blood Diamond has been spotted sir!" A devilish grin fell over Ōsharu as he rose to his full height. "Perfect timing." He mumbled as he readied himself at port side of the ship, the slit under his rib cage visible with Ōsharu's pale skin. Giving one last nod toward the Captain, Ōsharu dove into the water in search of his prey.
As stated in the history of the Kōkkai clan, they came from the Ocean and from it they will always return. The Ocean was like a second home to Ōsharu and with the adaptation of the gills he possessed because of his clan, his time within it's endless realm was infinite. "Now, to find this beast.. Red & White with a scar on the dorsal fin" With his hands resting at his sides, Ōsharu projected through the water like a dart as the power of his legs were put to test. He'd easily tire out by keeping up this pace, but his mission was at mind thus why his head swiveled rapidly in search of the beast of a shark. A swift swimming shoal of blue fish streaked past Ōsharu that forced him to stop and shield his face with his arms in a x-shaped formation in case of a sudden impact. Upon passing, Ōsharu looked back identifying the species as Sapphire Devils by their markings. "There's only one reason for a shoal would be acting like that.." As he turned around, a hint of red streaked in his peripheral and his eyes grew wide. Speeding toward him from his his right side was the beast. Its size, elegance, and ferocity served as a true testament to it's name, Blood Diamond.
Foreign to not being able to keep up with things, Ōsharu was struck hard in his right side by Blood Diamond, the beast using its fifteen foot frame as a blunt force. "GAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" A flurry of bubbles released from Ōsharu's mouth as he yelled so loud that is became audible even for underwater standards. His neck and body arched backwards from the impact of the shark, severe bruising was insured to occur. Blood Diamond shook it's head which flung Ōsharu some distance within the water, luckily for him though, the shark's big frame increased the distance between the two considerably as it made it's wide turn. Gripping his right side as he watched the beast make it's turn Ōsharu racked his brain for some possible solution to what to do before he became Shark Bait.
"Damn it! Uhh.. Quickly, I need something.." Ōsharu was frantic for a plan at this point as Blood Diamond completed its turn and began another assault only this time, rows of razor sharp teeth extended out of its gaping mouth aiming straight for Ōsharu's mid section. "That's it!" He thought, as his mind quickly drifted back to the first rule of his training's under the Kōkkai elders, diversion. Ōsharu brought his hands together to form the Ram Seal, in a manner of seconds he disappeared and in his place where was a replica of his created through his newly acquired technique. From about 30 feet below where a replica of him stood awaiting the impact from below, Ōsharu began to formulate a new plan now that he had been bought some time.
A matter of seconds was all it took for Blood Diamond to reach Ōsharu's previous position. Hoping to ensure the kill, the shark lunged at genjutsu Ōsharu ripping the replica into a black mist that formed two more replicas in addition to the one. Watching from below, a smirk overcame Ōsharu as he watched his plan unfold. Soon he would be moving on to the next stage of combat he was taught. "No doubt it'll tire itself out soon with trying to dispel my Genjutsu.. At that point.. I'll make my strike" Ōsharu thought as he began to swim toward the shark and the now dozens of replicas of himself that it had made.
Minutes into its onslaught on the replicas made from Ōsharu's Genjutsu, the shark found itself encircled by uncountable amount of replicas. The shark began to show signs of panic as it swam in one place shifting its body around trying to find a means of escape. Ōsharu enlisted himself into the ranks of the Genjutsu versions of himself to begin the second phase of his plan. As he began placing his hands in the Tiger Seal so did his replicas, but a ruby red liquid floated up from his hands that caught more than just his attention. "Blood!!!"
Blood Diamond darted at Ōsharu through his many replicas, it finding that its sense of blood lust was all it needed to rely on at this point. Unbeknownst to the shark, surrounding it's body in 360 degrees due to the body of water at hand were a numerous amount of needles made of water. Ōsharu pushed himself back through the water and watched as the needles of water went piercing into the shark causing many puncture wounds that forced it to stop in its pursuit. It's body began to go limp before rolling over with it's white under belly up. Despite being underwater, Ōsharu gave a sigh of relief to find that the beast known as Blood Diamond had been slain.
Ōsharu swam over to the shark's body, it size seemed to double the closer he got. "Finally.. Your torment is over my friend.. But, a challenge you were.." As he placed a hand on the shark's white under belly his mind drifted back to the steps he took to ensure his victory on the beast. From the moment he had activated the Genjutsu, Ōsharu knew he would have the shark trapped and eventually it would tire him out. The only thing he didn't account for was for him to have bled, but with his jutsu already in place it didn't even matter. Snapping out of his memories, Ōsharu pushed the shark toward the surface where it was quickly spotted by the Captain.
It took little to no time before the ship reached them, Ōsharu had requested that they pull the shark on board for he had some unfinished business with it. On the voyage back to shore, Ōsharu got all changed and prepared a sealing scroll alongside the beast formerly known as Blood Diamond. Using the strength of five men, the shark was rolled over onto the sealing scroll and just like that it disappeared as a seal mark burned a bright red color. "The perfect souvenir to my underwater voyage.." The crew celebrated Ōsharu's defeat over the beast that had been terrorizing there waters by throwing him a feast of, you guessed, fish. An ironic end to a marvelous adventure and wild mission.

While the needles do surround a target from all sides, they don't appear above the target, creating an escape route. Haku is able to perform this jutsu with one-handed seals, allowing him to pin an opponent's arm and attack while they cannot use any techniques themselves.
