Protecting the Princess
He was a very busy man. Indeed he was, but even his duties would not prevent him from going on lonesome missions and getting his hands dirty a little bit. He pondered upon the fact of having an assistant to handle the scheduled meetings and a secretary to deal with the paperwork while he was out doing his little thing. Why had he not thought of such before? He sighed to himself from the simple thought that buzzed around his membrane and cursed at himself in a lone tone; almost the sound of a whisper as he got up from his chair and looked out the window. His terrain - literally - was filled with rocky mountains and the hot sun blazing it all. His attire was fairly simple: white, long-sleeved sweatshirt hoodie with the hood up, a small black crew neck under the sweatshirt hoodie, white pants with a black cloth hanging from halfway up his stomach to his knees along with a white rope belt around his waist, tied in a bow, and white tabi boots which are traditional split-toe Japanese socks. Since being a Hyūga, the male's eyes were featureless all white. The bottom half of his entire face was concealed with a white bandaged mask. It was noted by others that he had canine teeth under there ever since he was little. He never heard that before. He was what he was called, the Urban Assassin, the White Crow Menace, and other aliases that people had called him. The thought of it all had blinded his true vision of realizing that he appointed himself a small handle for an okay price as he called it in his eyes.
He overlooked the mission once more and had seen that it was nothing more than chaperoning a little girl from a family of great wealth to school, then back home with little difficulty. The family had always had a feeling that their little daughter would be followed. If Aigo can recall, they did mention something about somebody following the little girl and the previous bodyguards. That bothered him. What happened to the other bodyguards? He had seen that the previous bodyguard before him was sick, but what about the other ones? He sighed at the situation like he always do when it comes to situations. Might as well get this one over with. Making sure he had gotten his katana, Siriyu, and his two kunai, the Tsuchikage exited his office door and eventually the building. It was a very beautiful day outside. His body dematerialized into a flock of crows as the flock had taken their flight to the skies and eventually appeared near the house of the Hai family with the crows materializing back into Aigo's physical appearance once again. It was morning time, so he had assume the everyone was rightfully home, or at least getting ready for the little one to walk out. He motioned upward to give the door a slight knock, just to see if anyone was actually home. He knocked on the door three times for good luck.
"Yes? Who is it?" A heavenly voice answered the knock of the door. Footsteps were heard from outside the house as Aigo had suspected: somebody was home. The door opened as the wife of the household looked upward and saw the Tsuchikage and had nearly lost her balance, trembling at the site of her leader in front of her doorstep. "Who was it honey?" A masculine voice had appeared behind her as her husband rushed to the door and looked upward as well, trembling at the site of their Tsuchikage there in person. They both stuttered their words as it was difficult for them to speak. They both whispered into each others ear about how exciting that the Tsuchikage, the strongest ninja in the village, is right in front of their doorstep. They were shrieking with excitement. Yet, when it came to looking at him, they were as quiet as a mouse. So, he spoke instead.
"I assume that your daughter is home? I am here as her personal bodyguard for the day." His voice was raspy, but soothing as the family had called down their youngest daughter, Miss Elina Hai. The little skipped all the way down the stairs and to the door until she saw who it was: the Tsuchikage. She screamed with excitement. Her lungs built with adrenaline as she rushed to the outside world to hug the Tsuchikage and quickly pulled his hands with her fragile, baby-like hands and rushed him into their home. The parents would've done the same thing.
Aigo and the Hai family had a little chit chat about Aigo's adventures as a shinobi. Of course, the Hai family were shocked at that and closed their youngest daughter's ears from the harsh words that Aigo was saying, although none were profanity. It was time for the little one to go to school. Aigo had followed the little girl while keeping her at a distance. All he heard was the little girl singing, "The Kage's my bodyguard! The Kage's my bodyguard!" Over and over and over and over again. It was cute for Aigo, but it was starting to get annoying, but it was for the kiddies, so he let it continue on. When they had gotten into the school, he decided to stay in front of the school building. He would get multiple greetings from different people and nice remarks/comments about how he is the best Tsuchikage they had. That was all fine and dandy. He had activated his Byakugan without a seal; something that was most common for Hyūga members and their Byakugan. It wasn't nothing new to him. His field of vision had ranged at 500 meter field of vision, so he could literally see everything in his village. He also had the ability to see through solid objects, as well as telescopic sight. So wherever the man was hiding, Aigo would easily spot him. He had also seen through the school also, keeping his eyes mainly on little Miss Hai and her movements. She was always the one to get bullied the most. If anything looked too severe, Aigo would have to step in. Making an appearance at school would cause a lot of exciting commotion, so it would've been best if he stayed out the way.
School was out finally, and all of the kids were gone to go home. Little Miss Hai had came out last, but she did not see the Tsuchikage anywhere until she heard a voice behind her as she looked and saw a flock of crows materializing back to the Tsuchikage's physical appearance. Of course she shrieked with fear, but she also laughed and ran to hug the Tsuchikage once more. Aigo held her hand and guided her all the way home. On the way home, Aigo's vision had picked up a chakra signature shaped in the form of a human being closing in on their direction, and it was certainly coming from behind him. The signature was amongst the trees, and Aigo knew what tree it was also. As soon as Aigo and Little Hai were at the Hai family front gate, that chakra signature had stopped them in their paths as the male had tried to punch Aigo and take the little girl with him. Aigo had grabbed Little Hai and ducked away from the punch while issuing a low sweep kick while ducking. The kick was a succession as the ninja lost his balance and quickly fell to the ground. Aigo guided Little Hai over the front gate as her family quickly got her and brought her inside and locked the door. They watched from the front window. Now, it was the Tsuchikage versus the culprit. Keeping his Byakugan activated, Aigo had seen the male's chakra circulatory system and chakra flow. The Palms right now would be real beneficial, but he'll stick to his assassin-like arsenal, or somewhat close to it. The culprit sprinted towards Aigo first, as Aigo kept his distance, drawing his Siriyu in response as the culprit drew two kunai in advance.
The blades clashed.
Hand-to-hand combat-wise, Aigo had the upper hand with a few kicks and grappling techs to catch the culprit. The culprit then leaped backwards and issued some Fire-Release techs, specially Fireball technique. The fireball hit Aigo, but only hitting a clone as the close dispersed into thin air. The question is, where was the real Tsuchikage? It took seconds, no, minutes to pinpoint the Tsuchikage’s location until the culprit felt a sharp pain in his neck. It felt as sharp as a blade pressing on it. He looked downward as the pain was real. There was an actual blade pressed on his neck. And the jagged edge of the blade had made the pain even more severe. Aigo had crept behind the culprit and issued an assassination. He told the culprit that if he made one move, he would not hesitate to slit his throat. And with that, the culprit did not move a muscle. The proper authorities arrived and took the culprit to prison as they congratulated the Tsuchikage. Little Miss Hai and run to the Tsuchikage and hugged him, thanking him and pressing him for his good efforts. Under his masked, he crept a small smile as he closed his eyes. He returned to his Administration Building to turn in the mission and collect his reward while looking out the window of his office once more.
