Dressed in normal traveling ninja attire the Nara clan member approached the towering gates of the earth fortress. It was always a beautiful sight to behold, the vast differences of the many cities he had the pleasure of visiting. It never gets old to see such beautiful structures. With a gentle smile gliding across his lips he passed through the wide archway heading into the city to complete the mission assigned to him and get out, without any trouble. It seemed simple in thought but knowing the history of this country and its people, it was the place of tricks and schemes but you didn't want to get caught either.

With his assignment complete it was time to head back home. Without any seconds thoughts he waved good bye to the guards on duty as he took his leave with hase, as he felt a strong need to get back to the village. I feel a lot has changed since I've been gone.

"Who might you be?" Ki said allowed to the man leaving the village. Ki himself had recently returned from his mission and with it finished. He came back to check in with the guards. However the man leaving had caught his attention and Ki would seem to find who this guy was. The primary reason for the guards looking puzzled as he waved at them, was mostly do to them not knowing him at all. It would appear the first time the guards missed him and he had gotten lucky upon entering the village. However he seemed to not leave in secrecy this time, this making them look at bit puzzled at why he was waving at them, as they didn't know him. Ki would surely get these puzzled guards fired, they'd messed up not once but twice on there job.

Ki stood across from the man, they were within six meters of each other. Ki wore his anbu atire and all its glory. His mask again vibrated as he spoke "I'd be wary of how you answer this question." Ki prepared his body for combat and tensed, in fact the second he saw the puzzled guards. He was ready for combat. He hoped this wouldn't turn into something like that, but confronting this stranger would be needed as who knows why he was here. 'Damn guards not doing there job and now I have to deal with this shit.' Kis mind grumbled.

Intrusion? Nah.

The man had chosen to enter and exit the village at night. At night when the moon was down lower too low to light the path itself. The shadows were cast long over the entire area. Of course the guards looked at a man they didn't see regularly weirdly. These two had realized that the man didn't belong, but didn't have the time to warn others. That was unnecessary. It wasn't the guards that the man had to worry about, but rather the man who had come to the gate to seek exit to Sunagakure for a mission assigned by his Kage. It was this that had brought him to the gate. Not to mention the man had chosen to leave around the Anbu leader's time of arrival as well. Was this guy a joker? He was making with haste away from the gate. That's what gave him away so quickly. The guy was no Taijutsu Master. His speed was lower than Hebi's. The man who had come to be known as snake quickly closed distance.

Before this man turned around. Before this man reacted to the call from their Anbu Leader, Hebi made his point known. First, a leg would come into the man's ankles to bring him tumbling forward. Second, another kick flew into the man's center would cause him to fall back again. Third, a spin kick would come and strike the back of the man in order to send him stumbling forward again. Finally, Hebi's leg would rise and bring forth the strength of a Taijutsu master onto the middle of the other's back slamming him into the ground cracking the very earth beneath him

"I have orders from Tsuchikage-sama to bring you in for capture. You are to not put up a fight or the consequences will become dire for your life." It needed to be clear that Iwagakure was not simply a village you could just walk into. Surely he would realize that he was outmatched by their Anbu Master and Hebi Gekido himself was no joke. His foot would remain on the man's back holding him down. "Surrender or die."

Ki was simply dumbfounded at what had just happened. He had been simply standing there trying to see who the strange man was when...the rashly deciding Hebi dashed across his view. Quickly Ki analyzed what he was going to do. It seemed he was going to attack. Ki himself was a bit surprised at the furious attack. It threw him off a bit, however there was no time for that. Ki would see his skill and sit back and watch Hebi fight.

The strikes landed heavy and hard. It threw Ki off a bit, the man must have been a regular civilian or something because he went down with all 3 strikes landing directly into the mans back. He laid cold and unconscious on the floor it appeared. Hebi spoke about killing the now sprawled out man on the floor and most likely unconscious. "Don't kill him, but I'll let you handle this. Seems you don't need me." Ki ordered. Ki then jolted into the air towards the trees and began his great escape into the woods.

(48 hours, all 3 strikes hit)

Capture not Kill

As each and every hit made a solid connection, the man had been brought to lay upon the ground. Pathetic. He hadn't even been strong enough to counter or even predict that he would be struck. Should Hebi find himself doing too much damage to the Shinobi, he would be careful and ensure that he healed the other enough for his life to be safe.

He lifted his leg as the other laid on the ground and would now stomp with all his strength on the side of the man's head in order to pull the knockout necessary to capture the man. He was waiting for his target to respond to his action fully expecting some sort of guard to be put or or perhaps the other to roll out of the way. If he fought though, it would bring the man more harm than he would take in being captured so the question was whether the man would respond appropriately, or self-destructively.

Meanwhile, Hebi kept an eye out. This man may not have come alone. If he didn't, with the Anbu captain gone, this may become a bit more of a challenge. Though, quite frankly, whether it was overconfidence or not, Hebi wasn't so worried. He was merely carrying out his orders. If anyone had a problem with it, if this caused some sort of incident, surely the kage would clean up the mess.

He was just a few feet pass the gate when his ears rung with the sound of cracking earth. Great! To have come these far to have some idiot bother me now. With his head and eyes facing the ground he slowly lifted his head, facing the path before him thinking of the best course of action to take. Three to Four men behind me and more then miles of desert and sand before me. His mind raced with a number of outcomes, processing in mere seconds when the man whom spoke finally appeared before him.

With a warm smile growing across his face he looked upon the man, clothed in the full armor of the ANBU of Iwa. He had seen this armor many times in his mission when he was just a rookie among the ANBU, having come to best some of the Earth Ninja. Well didn't think they would need such special forces for a mere ninja. He found it very odd that during times of peace that a village would dispatch not only skilled but deadly ninja to watch over the gates. It was indeed a very odd change of events that was beginning to bore him and add unneeded attention.  His lips begun to part to free his voice from the vocal cords of his flesh. "I'm just a traveler heading home and my route had to bring me through the village." He stood hoping that was all the Captain would need so he can depart and be about his business.

All posts up to Hebi's are void. They can be in here, your Updates were not approved by the time Shik so you do not have any sort of jutsu to defend yourself with but you can explain why you are there at the least and not all hope is lost if you are captured as I'm sure the Hokage will be angry and I know Suna is allied with the old Hokage so who knows maybe I would be sent to save you. But hey you could also try and escape as well, who knows. The 48 hour limit for Shik to post starts now, if he hasn't by then my ruling will be void and this thread will continue with Ki and Hebi's later posts being valid.

Pride and Purpose

The Anbu Captain himself had ignored the guy beneath Hebi's Shinobi shoes? The man beneath his shoes tried to stand, and was met with the pressure of Hebi's foot pressing down and keeping him laying on the ground. He let out a slight sigh. Of course it was his job to do the dirty work. Why would the almighty Anbu Captain dirty his well painted finger nails? Either way, the order had been given for Hebi to take care of this, and that meant he would do so swiftly.

"Letter was not sent in order to establish a visit from someone not of this village. Or at least I was not aware of letter being sent, so you will come with me peacefully to the Tsuchikage himself and we will settle the issue in either finding out why you're here or finding out if you're here to make nice. Don't worry. Tsuchikage is more welcoming than me, so you shouldn't have to worry about your life being in danger. Yet." Hebi had now leaned down and grabbed the mans wrists before pulling the man up with him. Though he wasn't a prisoner yet, Hebi quite frankly didn't trust anyone. It wasn't his job to trust people. It was his job to ensure the safety of his village. This man would answer to the Tsuchikage. There was no point in him roughing the man up anymore, though if he tried to escape, he would quickly discover why Hebi went by the title snake.

He kept directly behind the man holding his wrists tight. Whether it was uncomfortable for the other or not didn't matter to Hebi. The order was simple. No letter, they're to be treated with caution. Had Hebi overdone it? Probably. He was doing his job. He didn't fail at that. He wouldn't fail at that. He kept a watchful eye for another moment before beginning to push the other forward slightly. "Now walk before I determine that other methods are necessary to transport you." Hebi almost felt bad for a moment, but his loyalty outweighed even his own values. To most that would be seen as a weakness, but to him, it's how he gathered so much strength.
