The large stone city had come alive in the afternoon sun with full excitement filling the daily air. It had been a few years since the Anbu captain had been to Iwa, but in spite of his desk job he still found the clay colored building to be as beautiful and eye catching as if it was his first time seeing them. With his hands tucked within his pockets his feet carried him to the market place, the center of the economic foundation of the city. Taking to a high point, among the pointed roof tops, he stood in silence watching and taking silent observation of the citizens and the building. They have made a few building expansions but nothing not much has changed from the foundational structure of the village. He walked across the wooden bridge through the market center as the people below vanished and reappeared, going about their daily routines of shopping.
He knew he couldn’t stay in one place for too long, as it would only draw unwanted attention to him. With ten minutes passing by he vanished once again, walking across another bridge. From the towering of the building in this sector it had to be home to major residential units, seeing the park and the academy nearby. Any ninja knew that the true strength of any village was in the training of the net generation and its current leaders. He began to pace himself heading towards the academy when a group of genin rushed pass, leaping and jumping as if in some training routine. Leaping to a bridge, above them he watched as the group of ten performed with excellent chakra control. Guess they preparing for the exams. He darted after them until they all vanished behind the school doors, following them towards the sparing gym.
He entered into the academy moving quickly and silent until he found the training room and he took a hiding spot among the ceiling beams, clouded by the shadows his family has come to cherish and adore. He watched as the spar sessions among them was conducted by their commander and he couldn’t help but be a slight bit impressed with their abilities and talents. However, what shocked him, but not by surprise, was the intense ferocity in which they fought one another. It was as if they were fighting to the death and not an exam of skill. Better make sure that our genin be prepared because Iwa seems to be pulling out all they best trick this year. Feeling having seen enough he took his leave jumping through one of the windows to head back into the city to gather more intelligence on the city.
Seen their economic and training better check on security measures. With a few deer leaps he soared through the blue skies from building to building, around the outer board of the village and take notice of the watch post. Taking in the quick routes from the secret police, but yet he wasn’t able to locate the position of their jail or even the Anbu HQ. They must be underground. He wasn’t going to chance getting caught trying to sneak into such secure locations, knowing full well that the security would be much tighter than just the public accessed building.
His black boots softly landed upon the stone tables of a nearby park before he took a seat upon the stone chair. Of all the things he has seen today there was still one building that had drawn his attention, but he knew that to approach it would bring much unwanted attention to him. To approach the tower would be discovery upon sight but I need to do so with caution and speed. He removed his traveling cloak and wrapped himself in the black garment, to provide a more covering from the eyes of those whom not only guarded but visited the tower of the Tsuchikage. He lifted upon the solid structure and examined the surrounding waterfall streams. I will have to make a quick exit out the village just in case their alarm sounds. With the escape route already planned he vanished once again, arriving just mere seconds at the base of the kages stone temple.
The Nara clan member stood looking at the building that towered above him, casting a shadow across the village as a display of the controlling power held by all whom resided within. Let’s get this over with. With a few deep breaths he pressed his chakra into the bottom of his feet before he walked to the side and begun a swift dash up the building. Running with all his speed he was like a cheetah moving across the stone wall. With such fine-tuned control he wasn’t a tad bit surprised that the alarms didn’t sound, while he counted the number of floor before he finally reached the top of the building. That was a fairly easy task. Having gathered as much info he felt would be of benefit to them he darted back towards the gates of the village, ready to make his departure back home.
Jumping down to the nearest bridge Shikauhachi removed the black covering, returning back to his traveling attire he walked across the few bridges that stood between him and his exit home. Till next time Iwa.
